Morning all.

Especially LG&T and India.

I will be requiring lengthy cuddles.

I shall be singing Hush Little Baby for the duration.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Scoot, your offer of a lift is very kind but I'm very conscious of how busy you often are at work. Our first Thursday pm appointment is at 1.30 pm, then another at 3 pm (different people) so I'm not sure what time we'll escape the Whittington's clutches. I'm hoping though that it will just be one trip a week to the hospital most weeks from now on.

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 25/02/2009 09:14

We are officially going to ttc from next month. I will be holding Tilly and Charley's hands too.

L doesn't say 'love you', but she does tell me that I am 'gorgeous' and 'cute' quite a lot. Although she also says that Archie and Daddy Pig are gorgeous, so I don't really take it too literally.

AprilMeadow · 25/02/2009 09:28

WOO HOO Go Pink!

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 25/02/2009 09:31

AM - Sorry, I just cut you off. I can't talk about it in work though!

Are you OK???

AprilMeadow · 25/02/2009 09:56

LOL Fingers crossed you will be using your changing bag and papouse by the end of the year

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 25/02/2009 10:07

Oooh I hope so. I'm not in a massive rush though, so am happy to take it as it comes.

MKG · 25/02/2009 12:31

Oh MrsJoey--I hope you are pregnant soon because someone else needs to feel the torture I'm feeling!

I'm still here. I'm still pregnant. It's ok though. I think next week will be my week. Oh well.

Dh is jealous of me now because Cruz only kisses me, not him.

charleymouse · 25/02/2009 12:55

Sorry

TMAM I beg of you I have been busy at work and am in an office where my back is to everyone and they can all see my monitor. I think some furniture rearranging needs to happen. Each weekend we have been at the old house clearing out the filthy cathair infested shithole clutter plus G has taken to rising around the 4:00 am mark and I have been k'nacked. Have managed to skim regularly but not able to post. Thanks for asking though,

Tilly so sorry about your friend DH may have a few bad dreams but they will go eventually, it may be worth seeing a counsellor but I know this is not a blokey thing to do. It will pass, but it does take time. It is reassuring to know though that if it is a massive coronary that gets you it is usually a pretty quick thing. Thats what the paramedics told me anyway when my dad died.

Scoot love to meet up when you are up this way again. Boohoo not going for the job in Sheffield, oh bugger on the wallpaper and it will pass on the tantrums.

April 12 weeks, no way Has the sickness abated?

TYG glad the christening went well. I must sort out Gs welcome do as he was christened in hospital with his brother but due to that has no godparents and no welcome to church and party. He also only has one christening card/pressie off my Nana as no-one else bothered.

Jam glad to hear J has got a job sorted, silver lining for you Hurrah. Hope it starts soon to get him out from under your feet

LG&T sorry you are having a rough time. It will pass, do you want to borrow my head massager. Can have funny effects on men though a guest at Christmas (slightly inebriated)reported a stiffy after having a quick go with it.

MrsJb Yee ha Glad it went well, all this exercise you will be wasting away.

Hi Abbey holidays go to quick don't they? Has DH sold the company yet?

Elkie glad to hear things are improving. Onward and upward or so they say. Well done on getting through it all.

MKG know what you mean G has just started cuddling and can say it as he wraps his arms round you and pats your back. After having a few grumpy 4:00 ams have now resigned myself to them and just enjoying the sleepy "cuggles" He puts his hands on your cheeks and puckers up as well. Not so good when snotty green nose though

SOH hello how you doing? keep spotting you on other threads but not here

Anneme not heard from you lately everything okay?

Have I tell you G tried to stand on his car and it moved from underneath him. DOH and he cracked it on a right angled piece of solid oak. OUCH. it cut open and made a nice bruise and bump. He screamed more though when I pinned him down and held frozen peas on it. It was a week or so ago and he still has a lumpy bit should I get it checked out? (Rhetorical question for you PJ )

Hiya LottieMum can't remember new name and can't jump around as keep minimising screen. Well done on the return to study. Have you got your own place yet or are you still at home getting spoilt by Mum and Dad (and not so much by DSis).

Right going to post this now and catch up on what has happened this morning whilst I have been hiding typing this message. Please excuse all typos and any ommissions. May manage to get back on later.

Did everyone enjoy jif lemon day yesterday?

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 25/02/2009 13:03
charleymouse · 25/02/2009 13:29

Neurotic you, no way.

Can you tell I am on my luch and the office is now empty Off to grab something to eat now.

Tillyscoutsmum · 25/02/2009 14:52
MrsJoeMcIntyre · 25/02/2009 14:57

Will come across but we've missed the boat this month now!

charleymouse · 25/02/2009 15:27

TSM no getting stressed Am still hoping for a November one PJ, will know next week but does not feel promising. May join you next week.

Tillyscoutsmum · 25/02/2009 15:38

Ok CM - well, I hope we don't see you on there iyswim

I need to be pg... The weight I lost pre wedding is piling back on and I need a valid excuse. 6 pancakes last night didn't really help matters

MKG · 25/02/2009 17:27

Well it is true that whenever I give birth someone I know finds out they are pregnant. I told my friend that I was sending my fertility to her as she wants to have another baby, but I think I can share. I do have to tell you though it's quite potent stuff. After Mateo my sister found out she was pregnant, miscarried soon after, but got pregnant right away again I mean before her next period. And with Cruz my friend got pregnant with her second baby.

sends slices of fertility pie to the three crazy women over there. Now dance around naked in the cold, while rubbing your hair and patting your stomachs.

AbbyLou · 25/02/2009 17:46

Hi all. For those who asked, the bed is not going too well. It seems to be one step forward and two back. She had done better but then last night she woke up crying, dh went in and opened the door straight on to her head! She had fallen out of bed and was curled up in a ball by the door. Then when he tried to open it she just kept crying and pushing it back. It took him ages to make her understand that moving was a good idea. I think we'll hjave to give in and go up in the loft for the bed guard.
Congrats to all of those ttc - never again for me. We have decided once and for all, this is it.
My bf daughter had a really big operation yestersay. She has a curved spine and had 2 metal rods inserted into her back to striaghten it. It was a very tense time and they had to wait 9 hours, it is a very long operation. However, she has come out of it and is ok. The op was a success so it's just the long hard slog of recovery now. Bf is absolutely done in as she has been at the hosptial for 3 days without really any sleep. She's coming home tonight to sleep in her own bed and I'm going to pick her up. Any ideas what I could get for a 12 yeard old who's going to be couped up for a good few weeks? She'll be in HDU until the weekend and then a surgical ward for probably another week. I could think of nothing else yesterday, I'm so glad it's over.
Does anyone know if it's usual to get side effects from the pre-school booster? C had his last Thursday and is really not very well today. He has sore throat, headache, cold, cough and achey arms and legs. I don't know whether it's related or not.

SKYTVADDICT · 25/02/2009 22:23

Hi all

Have been keeping up I think but did a really long post the other day but stupid internet connection is playing up and lost it and the connection!

Please bare with me while I do short post to update on our news!

SKYTVADDICT · 25/02/2009 22:25

I was made redundant yesterday based on the fact that they wanted me to work a different two days every week and that is impossible due to childcare.

Not bothered really as was not looking forward to going back somewhere I wasn't wanted!

SKYTVADDICT · 25/02/2009 22:26

Going to be a SAHM mum for a few months and see how money/tax credits pan out before trying for another job - unless one comes along that I like the look of.

Had to give my lovely childminder notice today and I cried! She was really looking forward to having both boys but will fill their spaces easily.

SKYTVADDICT · 25/02/2009 22:30

Also going to try and sort the intenet connection so it doesn't disconnect every few minutes!

Got my re-booked spa day tomorrow and can't tell you how much I am looking forward to it.

Good luck those TTC and come on baby MKG

Pleased its all getting a bit better for you Elkie

Hello everyone else and bye for now x

largeginandtonic · 25/02/2009 22:34

Abby you can get side effects from the booster, dose him up. I hate that jab it is 3 at once now! Bed rail is a good idea as a stop gap.

We are keeping B firmly in his cot for now, he did get out the other day amidst serious rage but the red mist seems to have erased it, phew!

DH back on board I did my first day and evening alone sice Indie was born and my GOD it was hard. Cooking tea with her strapped to me the sling is a nightmare. My poor back. I had 5 friends over for coffee this morning so had to whip up a Victoria sponge too. I cant do anything, she wont be put down.

So you want to be pregnany you barmy bunch Has my complaining not put you off?!!! Actually i would have another few if someone would do the pregnany for me.

We need a new thread, SOH cant load this one it is too big. I suggest pom poms out for MKG?

elkiedee · 26/02/2009 00:46

Good luck to all those TTC!

charleymouse · 26/02/2009 10:27

Ooh begger sorry SKY, maybe it will all work out like Jams J. I just hope you can have a nice spa day today, you have waited long enough

Abby does she (bf daughter) have a Nintendo DS or some such hand held thingy majiggy, maybe a game to play/hire for her. A hasn't had her booster yet so no advice here sorry.

MKG hope I haven't caught a chill dancing naked in the garden last night. Atishoo! PS how do you know I have multiple stomachs.

LG&T, hang on; you have entertained, rustled up a sponge cake, cooked tea and looked after 100s of children. I have to query your statement "I cant do anything, she wont be put down." You have already done more in a day than I do in week.

Cheers for the good luck wishes Elkie hope you are getting on okay.

MKG · 26/02/2009 19:08

Hi everyone! I had my midwife check this morning. I lost part of my plug this morning, am 50% effaced, 2 cm dilated, and baby is very low.

So place your bets as to when I'll have this baby!

largeginandtonic · 26/02/2009 19:51

new thread here
