However - a quick search has revealed that there might only be bigger, more expensive places left for the weekend, the 1/2 bed places seem to be fully booked

FrazzledFairyFay · 21/01/2009 20:33

Hello peeps

Foxy, move away from the Quality Street

Ohforfoxsake · 21/01/2009 20:38

Am going to have a Skinny Cow hot chocolate. And pretend the B&Js didn't happen.

Thanks Fairyfay. How are you? How are your two? And the house?

Ohforfoxsake · 21/01/2009 20:39

While we are admitting to our dark moments, I had one the other day.

I dreamt I was having sex with Simon Cowell.

HellHathNoFury · 21/01/2009 20:40

Foxy.....

ToAMountainDAISYcal · 21/01/2009 20:40

there is always CP discounts on www.hotukdeals.com. I got 20% off my weekend.

you can get day passes for family and friends, but I can't find anything online about it; there was something in the brochure they sent, but I think ours went in the recycling.

LittleMissNorty · 21/01/2009 20:40

fucking hell....that is a dark moment.....

(not here really...about to bugger off to watch TV)

FrazzledFairyFay · 21/01/2009 20:41

We're all fine thanks. House is good. Definitely the right move for us although I am still feeling a bit lonely and missing seeing my friends every day.

DD seems to be settling well at pre-school and I am going to my first playgroup with DS tomorrow. So generally all good. I just need to meet a few people.

Foxy, when will you have to re-locate?

ToAMountainDAISYcal · 21/01/2009 20:41

EEEEEEEWWWWWWWW foxy, I hope you had a shower when you woke up.

I heart Butterfly!

He was actually very good, so good infact that DP nearly got lucky when I woke up, but luckily it was 7.25 so he didn't.

Fairy, the plan is for everyone to be up there for 2011. I was on for going next year, but seems I won't be able to get all the kids into the same school so now I might wait until DS1 goes to secondary in 2013 (I think). Would be good to be in London in 2012. I don't know, I really don't. Its all just so bloody well out of my hands. That does not sit well with a control freak.

HellHathNoFury · 21/01/2009 20:47

Butterfly - £365 for 4 nights in a chalet that sleeps up to 4. Do you need bigger than that?

I will see if I can find better prices.

HellHathNoFury · 21/01/2009 20:51

Ah ha - use code 'SAVECP' for discounts

BumpermightsuetheSindie · 21/01/2009 20:53

I would consider a day trip finances and work allowing.

Natty, you ok? It's easy to feel ignored on here once we all get chatting and you forget to refresh your screen!

HellHathNoFury · 21/01/2009 20:53

ok - some random prices to throw into the pot

4 nights comfort plus, sleeps 6 - £319
4 nights comfort plus, sleeps 4 - £292
4 nights comfort, sleeps 4 - £260

Better prices!

Ohforfoxsake · 21/01/2009 20:55

Those are bloody good prices! Shame its in school time.

HellHathNoFury · 21/01/2009 20:57

yeah - perhaps it's why the prices are so good!!

We have decided to make the most of 'off peak' prices while DS is still out of school!!

ToAMountainDAISYcal · 21/01/2009 20:58

I'm off to the Trafford centre on Friday for a Nov meet up

Would definately come to Manc as often as I could to meet up foxy; train between Leeds and Manc takes less than an hour, and I can do the Trafford Centre in 45 mins on a good day.

I am reassured by the level of utter madness on this thread , but still worried about the dark, darkness of some of my thoughts. You guys rock though, you really do

FrazzledFairyFay · 21/01/2009 21:00

Foxy, I reckon 2012 will either be a great or an awful time to be in London, I'm not sure tbh

Those Center Parcs proces do sound tempting. We were supposed to be going away in Feb, but that's off due to DH's work. Maybe I can persuade him to do a short break instead

HellHathNoFury · 21/01/2009 21:04

I cannot wait. I love it there. DS loves it there. Hell we can even take the dog.

Last time we would sit watching deer walk past our window. Simple pleasures.

Ohforfoxsake · 21/01/2009 21:12

We had ducks at the back door, the boys loved it It is great. Even DP wants to go back this year, and we all know what a miserable bugger he can be

Longleat is fab too.

2012 would work for us as DP will be here for the Olympics, so we would hope to see some of it, and get to experience the best of it.

Right I'm off. Been popping in and out of here all day.

Night all.

FrazzledFairyFay · 21/01/2009 21:14

I really need to go to bed. Good night everyone.
