Am I first? Couldn't think of what to call it....

VS - I think she is hungrier, yes, I tried giving more milk, which helped, but then yesterday she spurned more milk for more food (I guess she can't take both) and she did sleep better last night. Woke once at 5.30 for drink water and then 6.30 properly. She is never hungry for her breakfast til about 8 though - does anyone else have this? Should I stop giving a ten o clock feed?

I've been in a rubbish mood all day. Keep hoping I'm premenstrual. I know this is ridiculous to keep wishing period would return, am sure when it does I'll be wishing it away, I'm just starting to panic that it won't at all. ever.

Loads of snow here too, school has closed for (at a guess) first time since they opened in 1747, Head sounded mighty pissed off on phone.

We've got a sprinkling of snow. I feel like I'm seriously missing out on snowman making!

Morning all.

Stop talking about snow It's nice and clear here today. Don't know how long it'll last mind you as the weather here's been crappy recently.

Sam tried to launch himself out of his swing last night. He threw himself sideways as the swing went backwards then nearly got himself decapitated when it swung forward again. He's got a red mark under his chin where he got stuck. In one way it was quite nice to see that he's now trying to get places independently, however, not nice for DH trying to get him out of the swing without doing further damage!! When I say swing it's one of those automatic ones that stands on the floor & has music and lights.

Well, DH has finally handed his application letter & CV to the Head. Now it's just wait & see. I gingerly bought up the idea of me working less hours if he gets the job & that got knocked on the head very swiftly I know we need to save money as loads of work needs doing on the house, but we would be able to afford cutting my hours back a wee bit. Will definately have to keep working on that one

Forgot to say, DH also made a strange comment about maternity clothes & baby stuff last night. Maybe he is beginning to think about having another baby if he gets this job. On the other hand it's probably me reading too much into things & wishful thinking

I have to go shopping tomorrow regardless, nothing to eat at all after tonight. I ahd booked a Sainsboro delivery but they cncelled all until Sunday. TREALLY want the snow to last until tonight so DH can play with the boys (unlikely to happen I'll guess) though.

Ah well at least our car can sope pretty well- DH said he was the only one not to skid out of the car park after work this morning (and they ahd real problems last night- one bloke refused to come in coz his car wouldnt move...... he lived NEXT DOOR pmsl!

Favourite time of the day now. No students in library for the next hour & 10 mins - bliss. Am also going to raid the canteen ask nicely for a chip butty in a mo Hopefully the chef's in a good mood, if he's not I'll get kicked out!

Soph every Thursday you let me know it's chip day, and every thursday I wonder whether I can bring myself to cook chips for my lunch and never have, but today I am going to.
After being at home for days on end (forever and ever, at least it feels like it) I was sooo jealous of DS going off with childminder to playgroup..he's getting some company and fun and I have stay here in my house working. bah.
Chips will make this better, even if bad for my slowly increasing again waistline.
So what did you DH say about mat. clothes?
My DP has been broody for ages, as am I but am determined to hold off. I know I said I want period back, but that's just so I know I have the possibility of conceiving IYSWIM.

Went to swimming class this morning with Molly - she loves it and so do I. Good thing is have found out they run one on a sat morning so as long as I get my name down early enough I can still go with her when I get back to work yey!

VS - incidentally, my mate with the bf probs came over yesterday and she is feeling much stronger and resisting topping up with ff too much and just feeding and feeding and feeding as much as possible to get supply going. And her little lass is doing fine so that's good innit?

We need to start a new thread soon ladies, and since I started the last one is someone else's turn now

LadyBee - well it was along the lines of getting them back from someone I've just given them too, or needing them again. Something like that anyway. Because I wasn't expecting him to say anything like that and wasn't really listening I sort of wondered whether I'd heard properly IYSWIM.

Sam won't let you put shoes on him. He curls his toes up really tight and there's no way you can get his feet in. It's a shame because my friend gave me a lovely pair of suede boots for him. Had to give them to other friend who's expecting

Ellie - completely agree, best looking lot ever Good news about swimming. I loved taking DS1 when he was little. He now does proper "big boy" classes Will probably wait until the summer before I take Sam. Hopefully he'll be well enough by then.
