Am I first? Couldn't think of what to call it....

VS - I think she is hungrier, yes, I tried giving more milk, which helped, but then yesterday she spurned more milk for more food (I guess she can't take both) and she did sleep better last night. Woke once at 5.30 for drink water and then 6.30 properly. She is never hungry for her breakfast til about 8 though - does anyone else have this? Should I stop giving a ten o clock feed?

Ah, poor DH.

KnitterInTheNW · 03/02/2009 15:46

3? That's nothing... I have 4 every day!!!

ScorpiowithabigS · 03/02/2009 15:50

oh no Knitter that sounds horrible! I am big wimp about having my blood taken and hate injections.

Soph73 · 03/02/2009 16:03

Poor you Knitter. I used to have an enormous phobia about needles. But, having the boys has calmed me down a lot. However, I still get a bit panicky when I have to have a blood test or injection.

Have just had phone call from Guarderia to say that Sam's got a fever. They're going to give him some paracetamol & see how he is. It's funny cos he was happy this morning (his usual self) but hardly had any breakfast. Hope he's OK.

Soph73 · 03/02/2009 16:07

How much paracetamol will they give him? He's never had a fever before so don't know myself.

I still have a huge phobia of blood being taken, in fact anything where I've having stuff done to me - dentist, blood test (I've seen a psychologist and hypnotherapist and can just about cope with blood being taken from the back of my hand now), eyes being lasered, you name it. It stems back to when I was diagnosed diabetic when I was 3, and it used to take 4 adults to hold me down to take blood. Not nice, and I spin completely out of control even if I'm trying my hardest to be brave. (Yet I was completely calm whilst having my tongue pierced, work that one out if you can!)

Soph, I hope Sam's ok when you pick him up. I'm sure the paracetamol will do the trick.

Can I ask what size clothes your LOs are wearing at the moment? George went into 9-12 month babygros a while ago, his 6-9 month tops are just starting to be a bit snug and his 6-9 month trousers are still plenty big enough, as I said earlier he crawls out of some of them because they're still too big!

Peachy · 03/02/2009 17:59

Bas is in 9-12 but he doesn't have separate trousers as they always just fall off his skinny arse, and although he needs 9-12 for his shoulders (he's a triangle like his Dad) they're always too long in the leg.

LittleRascal · 03/02/2009 18:38

hi guys
thanks for the comments. hope it doesnt sound like i am bragging.
well done to all your babies. seems like the babies are developing very well.
DS wears all sized clothing- he actually still fits into some 0-3 month trousers!!!he is a short sh*t! He probably comfortably fits into 6-9 months clothing properly (he has just turned 10 months yesterday).

ScorpiowithabigS · 03/02/2009 18:39

Mimi is happily in 6-9 months, think she is dinkier than most on here - 19lbs.

KnitterInTheNW · 03/02/2009 19:09

George weighed 18lb 1.5oz yesterday!

ScorpiowithabigS · 03/02/2009 19:11

Ahh, just thought most were bigger Mimi is very tall though, she doesnt have much fat rolls, lol

SalLikesCoffee · 03/02/2009 19:12

Weeeelll, prize for slowest baby (and most melodramatic first-time-mom) goes to.... Me!!! I picked R up from nursery earlier, the woman said he hasn't been feeling well, was very clingy all day and woke up crying his little heart out. So then my imagination started going wild. By the time we got to the coffee shop (where we were waiting for dh as I didn't want to risk the hill with my slippery shoes on my own), I started inspecting him closely. By this time (in my mind only ) he was pale as death, then I noticed he didn't say anything, his tongue was hanging out his mouth... I was convinced he had a stroke! Oh bloody hell, I'm such a moron. The girl there (who know me well - I really need to drink less coffee!) saw I'm worried, then came over laughing, saying that's what they do when they figure out the tongue / teeth combination! I was suitably embarrassed!

Roelof's mostly in 12-18 months clothes, especially for babygrows that has feet as the smaller ones too short.

ScorpiowithabigS · 03/02/2009 19:13

Sal you sausage

SalLikesCoffee · 03/02/2009 19:18

I know, the shame!!!

KnitterInTheNW · 03/02/2009 19:19

George has plenty of fat rolls though, he must be a proper shortarse!

lol Sal!

KnitterInTheNW · 03/02/2009 19:23

I find it fascinating how they're all so comploetely different.

KnitterInTheNW · 03/02/2009 19:23

oops

LittleRascal · 03/02/2009 19:41

ds is 18lb10oz.
born huuggeeee (9lb10) but is now small.
glad there are a few more in the same weight scale.

bumpkin32 · 03/02/2009 20:18

Glad to see everyone's been enjoying the snow. Me & DH had a day off together today, first in ages - and we didn't argue which was even more of a shock ! My LO still has stinking cold so had to keep her out of the snow mostly.
DD is in all sizes of clothes, still fits in a 0-3 month top but seems to now be out of some 6-9 month bits. I last had her weighed when about a month ago for her 8-12 month check and the HV said that I didn't need to go back til her 12 month check - should I go to get her weighed before then do you think?
Bit worried that I may have been a bit too at you all being pg. Have been waiting for what seems like weeks now for my period and nothing yet! Don't really think I can be pg as DH is very adamant he doesn't want anymore so has been very careful! The only thing I can think is that my periods haven't been regular since LO arrived (and been bottlefeeding from 7 days), but putting off doing any tests!

ScorpiowithabigS · 03/02/2009 20:46

Ahh but have you been careful every time?? A test wont hurt, at least you will know.

ScorpiowithabigS · 03/02/2009 20:47

and i think its only a few that are pg anyway - maybe 3?

SalLikesCoffee · 03/02/2009 20:54

Oooh, Bumpkin, you know the talk on here a couple of weeks ago about dh's and our ladies getting up to, uhm, well, no good in their sleep?? well, you never know! Do the test!

KnitterInTheNW · 03/02/2009 21:09

Do the test! Do the test! Do the test!

As long as you're happy with your DD, don't bother getting her weighed. I get George weighed about every 3 weeks, just for something to do really! Plus he lost weight a few months ago and I'm slightly paranoid that he's not gaining. But I can see that he's growing, a lot, and he has all his fatty bits back. Lovely big round tummy, squidgy creasy thighs, fab!

Peachy · 03/02/2009 22:26

Do the test!

New pics of Bas and some of snow on my profile,
