Rg _ I'm suire you find ways of convincing Dh to have another LO. Use your feminine wiles (wink)

Loopy - Glad you've got DD well trained. T calls our dishwasher and cooker a 'Noooo ' because we tell him not to go near them. He keeps changing the timer on the dishwasher. A job in Waitrose sounds fab. - , especially if you get discount.

T has had a tummy bug which he has managed to pass onto us. I didn't realise that having a child would mean being downed by some form of illness every six weeks. I was s'posed to be going out for curry tonight . Grrrrrr

Have a happy week everyone.

LOM - thanks, I'll check it out. Work not too bad at the moment but lots of potential for horridness. Would have been far more productive to have met up with you as planned! I can't remember what new dates we said, I'll email you.

Loopy - Chickenpox party? Is this a new trend?! LOL re the cold mutating. Until last week I had had a cold on and off since September.

We don't have a dishwasher but Adam is partial to a bit of hoovering and dusting. Which is good cos I am not .

Loopy - LOL at your chicken pox party. It reminds me of an Episode of South Park I saw once when they did the same thing.
Also amused by the amazing mutating cold.
How's the scatching issue?

Greedy - Glad work is ok at the mo. I can't remeber what dates we said either. I'll check my e-mail.

Well T couldn't go to the CMers today because he's had diarrhoea there yesterday. I felt bad about taking more time off work and DH had to go in. So we flew in an emergency Grandma - God bless her.

Hurrah for Grandmas indeed, Adam's GM is looking after him while I get my hair cut tomorrow. Hope T is better now. Adam finally seems to be shaking his chesty cough although we now have a referral to the asthma nurse which I don't think he needs.

Loopy - I thought that was what you meant , tee hee you are defo a hard core mum unlike me fretting over the slightest sniffle of my PFB! Don't think DH is going to cave into having another one but I would love to do it all over again because I am certain I would be more chilled and enjoy it more the second time around. Also v. of your new undies! My underwear drawer definately needs a overhaul.

jetgirl · 10/02/2009 21:53

RG - enjoy your extra day of mummyhood! Am so pleased for you.

Greedy - sorry to hear about the job, hope you don't feel too upset about it.

Loopy - I'm glad there's been no more scratching I am v. jealous of your underwear, I am so fed up with y feeding bras, it's deffo time for a shopping trip!

LOM - hope T gets over is tummy bug soon.

DH and I are on tenderhooks at the moment as he works for RBS. Yesterday his office was told to clear all their appointments for Thursday as they have a group conference call at 9am; then with the announcement about the job cuts today it has made Thursday look a not particularly nice day Keep your fingers croassed.

Jet - fingers crossed for you and your DH.

Loopy- my DS loves dingle-dangle scarecrow! Fingers crossed for your friend.

LOM - i have emailed you re new dates for meeting

Well I have just had the most gorgeous day today; play date with lovely friends at new soft play place, mooch in some lovely girly shops, hair cut whilst MIL looked after Adam then met up with DH to choose some books (spending birthday money) and buy Adam his first Clarks shoes! And now slightly tipsy. Hic.

RGPargy · 11/02/2009 22:58

LOM - i have been wiling away but it's having no affect on my very stubborn DP!!! Hope T is back on form very soon.

Loopy - glad there's been no more scratching incidents. Bless DD3 for joining in! awww!! Hope your pox party goes well. I'm sooooooo of your new undies!! My underwear "drawer" (the lid of a box put onto a shelf of our tiny tiny wardrobe) is in a shocking state! I did manage to buy myself a single solitary new bra the other day tho!

Jet - Good luck for tomorrow. Will keep my fingers crossed for you.

Greedy - glad you had a fab day! Ellie had her first Clarks shoes a couple of weeks ago too. Aren't they brilliant?!!!

Nothing much to report this end. My extra day off has been lovely, and i've managed to get bits and pieces done. Ellie has been whinging quite a bit less than she usually does. I'm not sure if it's because she knows she's got more mummy time or whether it's because i've been carrying her in the sling alot more this week. She's been quite happy to toddle around and do her own thing whereas over the last few weeks she's been a constant velcro baby and really whingy.

Oh Loopy - you dont happen to have a size 7 woven you wanna flog me do you?!

Have a nice day tomorrow girls.

Loopy - I have recently been introduced to Dingle Dangle Scarecrow. T like it but I've always found scarecrows rather sinisiter. The favourite one at the mo is Wind the Bobbin up. T trie to do the actions and says bob bob. The guy who runs the Children's Centre is a lovely guy in his mid 40's who's very camp- it makes me chortle to my self when he says 'Come every one, let's see your bobbins.

Jet - I hope everything goes ok for you and your DH today. It must be V worrying.

Greedy - Sounds like a perfect day. I'll check my e-mail.

RG- glad you are enjoying your extra day. More time for you to plot !

RG - if you find the winning formula pass it on cos my DH is very stubborn on this issue too in spite of being totally in love with Adam and going all misty eyed over babies in general. Pah!

RGPargy · 12/02/2009 15:12

Loopy - how about i tempt you to buy this lovely then for £50 posted? tempt, tempt buy me, i'm lovely

I think i might have to try the alcohol route this weekend, although i have a feeling TOM will rear it's ugly head on Saturday - how's that for timing! However, if he doesn't appear and seeing as we are out of "Jonathans" (as we call them, haha!) then i might very well use my wiles on him and see what happens!!

Greedy - i'll let you know if any "formulas" appear over the weekend

Febes · 12/02/2009 17:47

Cute look at Ellie's hair!! I love it!! Anabel has red hair too as she takes after my mum and I love it.

littleoldme · 12/02/2009 18:00

Rg - I don't need a sling but you have the same the Dyson as us and I've just broken our hose...

Ellie is gorgeous. As you and your DP make such beautiful babies I feel he has no right to deny the world another- particularly in these times of gloom and doom.

Febes - thanx! It's a gorgeous colour isn't it. She takes after both myself and DP as we are both naturally red. She didn't have a chance in hell of coming out NOT red!! Can just about see her red hair in your profile pics - she's so cute.

LOM - You can have the Dyson pipe if you buy my sling! haha! Sorry about the awful face i'm pulling in those pics although I quite agree that the world would indeed be denied another cute baby. I think that argument should be put to him too.

lol Loopy - dont you have enough on your plate with 3 DCs?!! I reckon you just like having little baby creatures to mother.

OMG - I running T's bath last night while he was playing in out bedroom. When all of a sudden, "Whahhhhhhhhhhh" I picked him up and his face was covered, and I mean covered, in blood.

I whisked him over to a neighbour who's a childminder and has a recent first aid. When we mopped him it was just a nose bleed and he cheered up quite quickly. I was in need of gin.

PHEW! Thanks for all your good wishes, DH's job is safe at the moment though there will be some people leaving from his office and some general restucturing which could mean a little more commuting for DH, but nothing major, so all is a lot more positive here.

I'm going to get William new shoes soon too, probably not Clarks though as he has really wide feet and I think Startrite cater better for wide-feet. Last time we had his feet measured the fitter tried to force his foot into a shoe that was 1/2 a size bigger than he was measuring but a width smaller as they didn't have his size in stock! It was like they were so desperate for a sale that it didn't matter whether the shoes actually fitted! I was really disappointed as DD has always been treated really well by Clarks fitters.

Will catch up later, william is being a grump

morning Loopy

Hmmm if DD3 wants 3 feeds a day it could be that she's just either having a growth spurt or is feeling a bit insecure and wants extra mama comfort. Apparently you can still wear underwired bras when BF so all is not lost. I would say just carry on as you are or if you really dont want to give her the extra feed, try offering something else as a comfort instead? Sorry, not much help really am i?!!

enjoy your friends!
