hello all hows tricks?
jaysfinished - so much for the finished bit of your name . tyaca here, v nice to hear from you. yesterday was the anniversary of dd's due date and dh and i were just talking about how grumpy i was this time last year...
princess, take it all is ok with your test results. i kept thinking of you and jade goody (hah! bet thats the first time somone's said that to you.) whats happening with work for you now?
ginger - did you have a nice half term? poor dh, i expect his attention non stop on the holidays, but he has these piles of marking and i have to do my best not to strop. you are very brave having a guinea pig - small furry things like that terrify me.
how are you doing missnat? sorry to hear you've been having a tough time. i was struggling for a while during the snowed in week and i felt so useless (and having huge doubts about being able to look after second baby too.) felt quite low. its horrible when they're ill isnt it, hopefully the weather will get warmer soon and all our lo's bugs and colds will clear.
alkar - that is frustrating re the lack of referral. it does seem a bit off that you would only get that if it happens again. fingers crossed it never does. hope you're feeling ok and have had a chance to r&r with your family.
well done malcom we have been hothousing esther in anticipation of her b-day party. on a good day we can pull quite a few tricks out of the bag, but most of the time she just grabs her head and looks round expectantly. where's your head was the first thing she did and she now goes for head whenever she's asked anything. we were at MIL's the other day and i was chatting to nephew about the animals on his table mat. dd heard the word lion (we have been practicing roaring) and dd immediatley jumped into action .... and put hands on head and looked at all for praise.
strawb - do you know what you're doing for your ds's birthday? i hope you have a lovely day. our plans this week dont extend beyond boring boring housework plans with a bit of ryhmetime and wiggle jiggle thrown in
happy birthday daisy and seren xx bessie and bovril if you're out there, would be lovely to hear from you.
sarah - i think dd is going to have quite a bit of a temper on her too. the last three weeks at the music group we go to she has got really angry when the instruments have been put away. dh is delighted at the thought of his dd being wilful, but i feel like this is the beginning of the rubbish parenting .... she also gets v annoyed when i try to return things to older kids when she's grabbed them off them. its so dif isnt it? anyone any advice? at the moment, i am just trying to distract her away from situation while being decent to the other kids who are old enough to need apologising to...
sally how are you doing this week? have you got a holiday booked or anything else you can look forward to? i see the ingestion of huge amounts of carpet debris as the sign of resourcfulness and self sufficiency ...
