Pfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffttttttttt.

If she thinks she's fat post baby she should meet my belly. It has its own postcode.

By the way, what kind of cake? I want cake....

ThePFJInASleigh · 12/12/2008 17:59

HG?

LOL at your name VS.

ThePFJInASleigh · 12/12/2008 18:00

I should change mine to ThePFJInTenSleighs. One for me, 2 for my belly and the rest for my huge ARSE.

PeachyBidsYouNadoligLlawen · 12/12/2008 18:21

Pecan twist PFJ

I do like vcake; choccy I can take or leave (though I usually do take LOL) but cae- yum

I will lose weight when I want to. Which isn't 13 days before Christmas for certain!

ThePFJInASleigh · 12/12/2008 18:25

Here here!

TinyTimLivesinVictorianSqualor · 12/12/2008 20:46

Cake and choccy don't bother me too much. I'm more a wine and chips kinda gal, LOL.

PFJ, HG is TERRIBLE morning sickness, both PEachy and I had it last time.

scorpio1 · 12/12/2008 20:47

I have always been a little weight paranoid, if truth be told. certainly clothes size paranoid(canot be double figure). Its not helped by my mums comments after each child i have, just small things like 'loosing weight, dear? looking better' etc. Whereas DH loves me 'bigger' and relishes in it. Has before told me off and said he wont fancy me if i get skinnier (just before Jamie i was a small size 6) I have got back each time (relatively easy, i know) because i am so paranoid of having fat bits, and having a roll or a saggy tummy etc. I think if i didnt like food this much i would have an issue. I wish i felt more comfy in my skin, and big up to yous that do Hope i havent offended anyone, its not meant that way.

scorpio1 · 12/12/2008 20:48

and yes i do want to be pregnant again, but would be so terrified of having 2 baby tummies to lose after .

SalLikesEggnogUnderMistletoe · 12/12/2008 21:56

Hi. Ellie, great news re your grandmother!

Not much to report here. Had great 2 days at work, it was really lovely. I had a chat with my boss today and he was completely fine with me leaving a little earlier. He also said that, if it wasn't busy, I should just say if I'd like the afternoon off to spend with Roelof. I think I might love this man.

Dh came back today. Missed him, and apparently R flung open his arms when he saw him. Awww, how cute.

Not really too fussed about weight tbh. I should, hell, I almost wish I was. But am not. Therefore nothing fits anymore (On the topic of bad diets - we went out for dinner tonight, which was really lovely. Half a bottle of wine later and I'm off to bed as soon as I've finished my coffee. Night all.

SantasGotABigFatEllieG · 13/12/2008 22:22

Course not offended scorpio, silly sausage.

I swing between being extremely bothered about my weight and not at all. I guess I can't be that much or would try and lose more! Having said that, at xmas am seeing incredibly thin and glam sis-in-laws, who both make me feel like a big frumpy poo, (not that they mean to of course, they are very nice) so am off to buy some new clothes tomorrow so can at least feel like well-dressed chubster

Have just done most of xmas shopping online and is all being delivered giftwrapped and everything [smug emoticon]

TinyTimLivesinVictorianSqualor · 13/12/2008 22:58

Ellie, feel quite shit about how insensitive I was to you.
I'm really sorry, I just realised as I didn't know what to say I said more about TSC's cat and then didn't mention your gran getting better. My apologies, I did care, I just did not know what to say. I'm really sorry.

ThePFJInASleigh · 14/12/2008 11:19

Hi everyone, happy Sunday!

VS I am sure Ellie doesn't mind.. its hard to keep up with EVERYTHING people say on this thread, and sometimes we have time to really 'talk' and other times we only have time to skim and comment. Don't feel bad.

Well.. there is one clear week left until the Christmas maddness truly begins. Scary huh? Mainly I think because the time goes so fast in between Christmases now.

I am sat here with Jack, DP is having his lie in and we're watching 'Night at the Museum'.

KnitterInTheNW · 14/12/2008 20:59

Hi everyone, I've been so busy I've only had time to skim through posts since I last joined in... erm... AGES ago.

Lots of things going on.
-We sold our house again yesterday, we'll see if it goes through this time! We're looking for somewhere to rent, we're in no position to buy anywhere bigger as I have no work lined up.
-George is finally back up to the weight he was 7 weeks ago before he started to lose it. He's still not thrilled with food, and has hungry days and not hungry days.
-He has some ezcema on one of his shoulders, clearing up quickly with some cream from the doc. So much for all this BFing!
-He's finally getting the hang of sleeping! For about a week now, after his bedtime story and boob, I've been telling him night night and I love him, and I'll see him in the morning. Then he happily goes into his cot and goes to sleep by himself on his own! It's a miracle! And then just having a feed at 4am ish. Sometimes needs his dummy finding for him but more often than not just goes back off to sleep by himself if he stirs, rather than getting cross and crying like he did before. Hooray!

I'm sure there's loads more but won't bore you with it now, just wanted to be here.

SalLikesEggnogUnderMistletoe · 14/12/2008 21:07

Hi knitter. Not much to report, just wanted to say hello.

Quiet on here, so hoping everyone was having a great time!

KnitterInTheNW · 14/12/2008 21:52

Hi Sal!

ThePFJInASleigh · 15/12/2008 10:21

Hi Knitter, great news about your house.. will keep my fingers crossed for you!
Glad little G is sleeping better too.

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO tired this morning. I need something to wake me up!

blehhhhhyawnblehhhhhhzzzzzzzzz

scorpio1 · 15/12/2008 10:45

Morning

DH went out on saturday and got in at 3.30am very drunk, sooo funny. He did the 'rules' perfectly though, text me, rang me, etc. Wore his wedding ring out, etc. He dressed up as a gangsta, was so funny. And a little bit hot

Had a real lazy day yesterday, made roast and slobbed out watching the soaps all afternoon!

Mimi has dropped her 6am feed, so now we are going 630pm-730am straight through. I miss her and her little booby noises in the night

scorpio1 · 15/12/2008 10:49

oh and im very too as i had a slight accident in an ugg boot shop on saturday...they are so beautiful.

I have been thinking more and more about taking up thai boxing. They do ladies nights. DH says im too girly (the other girls are tomboyish and, ahem, a little more solid than I) but i sort of want to. My BF wants to as well...im too nervous though!

KnitterInTheNW · 15/12/2008 11:13

Sod it Scorpio, go and give it a try at least!

Soph73 · 15/12/2008 12:06

Afternoon all. Welcome back Knitter
Scorpio - if you want to give it a go go ahead, then you can really beat the c**p out of DH when he misbehaves. Maybe that's what he's worried about
Sam was impressed this morning because his physio is on hols for a week so he was only going to have occ therapy then have his chest cleared. Luckily for him his occ therapist was off sick so only had to have chest cleared. He really does not like his occ therapist. However, I have to admit I'm not that keen on her, she gives me the creeps, but can't quite put my finger on why.

OP posts:
scorpio1 · 15/12/2008 13:21

I already do beat DH up we have the best playfights ever.

I cannot believe how close to Xmas we are. DH is oging food shopping in the middle of the night next weekend, lol. We are having turkey this year, we had duck last year but i missed bread sauce.

Mimi has decided to do proper crawling now. She is everywhere. i left her in the front room this morning, whilst i went to do the dishes. The next thing i know she is shouting at me from the kitchen door nd grinning like this at me!

ds2 is running around the house with silver beads from the tree, getitng mimi to chase him.

Soph73 · 15/12/2008 13:39

Don't Scorpio, I go cold & shivery just thinking about Christmas. I just keep thinking I haven't done something, which is usually a fairly good indicator that I've missed something out. However, I can't for the life of me think of what it could be, which of course, is only worrying me even more .... aarrgghhh! Maybe it's because MIL's been here a week and hasn't said anything bizarre yet. There is still another week to go so I'm sure she'll come out with some gems before she goes she usually does!

OP posts:
KnitterInTheNW · 15/12/2008 16:12

Talking of MILs, mine came to 'visit' yesterday. She was here less than half an hour, didn't take her coat off, didn't accept a drink, and held George on her lap for about 10 seconds. Bloody weirdo.

scorpio1 · 15/12/2008 16:34

DO NOT get me started on MIL bashing.

Mine still hasn't met Mimi, but graciously offered to bring dss down after xmas, and she can 'see Millie at the same time'

Oh, Mimi obviously not great enough to warrant a visit for herself. Drusilla's children (PMSL) are obv more preferable than mine

Bugger them.

scorpio1 · 15/12/2008 16:35

Am thinking of going out with Mimi that day, all day. AIBU??
