Here we go. I was too sick, sleepy and preoccupied with my weight to notice the old thread running out

just me without one then?

My tip for the day - don't give a teething baby beetroot.

She's very unhappy

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 22/05/2008 21:21

Sorry to hear that DD is unhappt Foxy. not sure why beetroot would have exacerbated the situation though?

And yes, sorry about the RL . I went for a 4 mile training walk (though my ankle now hurts as a result) and then to baby group.

RiaButterflew · 22/05/2008 22:06

I'm here. I'm watching "Dr" Gillian.

SG are you still doing SW? how's it going? I am getting nowhere with WW so have got the SW books out again.

justbeme · 22/05/2008 22:27

Ive just popped on quickly!!
Went for a long walk this afternoon and fell asleep at L's bedtime, feeding her!!
Also had to watch "Come dine with me" _ I like that programme especially the commentator and then watched the programme about the families with 11+ kids!!

Its been v quiet here today!

Seansgirlthesequel · 22/05/2008 22:27

LOL Ria, I'm just like you! I was doing with SW but feared that it wasn't a diet fro 'family life' IYSKIM I like the diet but want to do something where only cook 1 meal and not 3! I just don't like the over use of 'synthetic' foods on SW or you can eat as much as you like was worried not a good message to DD and DS in future. I did lose weight tho lost over a stone. Am on WW again, but am struggling as keep going over my allowance as feeling deprived

Seansgirlthesequel · 22/05/2008 22:31

Am loading stuff onto my ipod, but feeling very tired. Hows DHs day at work Ria?

Seansgirlthesequel · 22/05/2008 22:36

Seansgirlthesequel · 22/05/2008 22:48

How cute is this???? train cake am thinking of making this for DSs birthday. Whats everyone else buying LOs? DD has chosen her present to her baby brother, she has seen this on TV an is convinced he'll love it tonka toy Think I'm gonna head off to bed as no-one else around. see you later have good nights all x

HellHathNoFury · 23/05/2008 09:03

Good morning all!

WW stopped working for me too but that's only because I was naughty and kept exceeding my allowance.

Now I am back living on water and air the weight is coming off again.

Seriously, what I eat is just painful.
Breakfast - apricots, strawberries, a banana, maybe some melon and a glass of semi skimmed milk
snacks - fruit oat bar or special K bar or dried prunes
lunch - lettuce, tomato, 100g grilled chicken, small scoop of coleslaw. Sometimes 1/2 an avocado.
dinner - normal meal with family, just a small portion.

It's hard to stick to but after a while your body gets used to it, and if you eat a big meal you feel shit for hours. The weight IS coming off.

There is also something called lighterlife (?) which I have heard rave reviews about.

HellHathNoFury · 23/05/2008 09:05

DS said his first word last night!

Toast! lol

it came out a bit like 'tsshhhhht' but he definately got it! ahh.

BumperliciousNeedsToSleep · 23/05/2008 09:47

Morning all,

Well done to baby fury!

I am at my dad's. The journey was ok, we stopped halfway but DD was really cranky for the last hour. She splept well, but it's pretty stressful having to watch her every second as the house is not very child proof, lots of steps. Starting to appreciate living in a small flat!

andiem · 23/05/2008 09:48

fury my brother has just done lighter life you have to be a minimum of 3 stone overweight to do it and it is grim
no food just shakes or bars it is only 500 calories a day and you have counselling as well he has lost 5 stone though

well done on ds for his first word

andiem · 23/05/2008 09:51

glad you made it safely bumper

HellHathNoFury · 23/05/2008 09:52

I am 3.5 stone overweight - not sure about the shakes though!!

andiem · 23/05/2008 10:03

fury you cannot eat any food at all for 3 months just shakes soups and water so you have to be really determined

foxythesnowfox · 23/05/2008 10:07

sounds shite!

I did Slimfast for a day once and lost the will to live.

Morning everyone!

BumperliciousNeedsToSleep · 23/05/2008 10:13

Oooh, that must be what my SIL has been doing. She has lots loads of weight (havent seen her though) but we went for dinner a couple of months ago and she was pretty miserable on it.

andiem · 23/05/2008 10:13

morning foxy yes I couldn't do it I like ww if I want I can eat nothing but kit kats and still lose weight

Seansgirlthesequel · 23/05/2008 10:19

wine is out of the question then?

why can't there be a wine, chocolate and bread diet ?

Well done to baby fury! WW isn't working for me as I don't count my points properly. Have got to do it though, but will have to be when I come back from Devon, I just will not diet on holiday. Which is why I am also 3.5-4 stone overweight too! Fury, your doing very well, but sounds like fried fillets of fresh air to me! I should take a leaf out of your book.

Hope you have a good time Bumper despite being on baby alert all the time!

Why oh why is DS awake when I need him asleep? Just answered my own question then haven't I?

Seansgirlthesequel · 23/05/2008 10:21

Andu, mmmm... the kitkat diet now we're talking...
