Here we go. I was too sick, sleepy and preoccupied with my weight to notice the old thread running out

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
LittleMissNorty · 21/05/2008 21:46

Oh blimey, sounds messy Izzy.

Hi Jammy. Poor DD, teeth are a nightmare aren't they (for us as well as them!)

Izzybel · 21/05/2008 21:47

Hi Jammy! Aww bless your DD and her teething. I do feel so sorry for them with their little teeth coming through. My wisdom teeth are coming through and they hurt from time to time, so god knows what they must be feeling.

LittleMissNorty · 21/05/2008 21:52

mmmm HP can cause gastritis I think....but an ultrasound will sort it out by the sounds of it.

Wonder waht the rice has got in it....It will be full of carbs but if it was that, other things would start you off.....

I've given up with BF/FF threads...same old, same old.....

RiaButterflew · 21/05/2008 21:54

I don't do scary threads at all.

Izzybel · 21/05/2008 21:56

Flippin' 'eck they're still at it!
I've never posted on a BF/FF thread, but I have lurked and most of them are bitchfests!

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 21/05/2008 21:57

I agree that thread was much of the same stuff we've seen time and again, I didn't read it all

Right, bed time for me. I'm exhausted and got a busy (ish) day planned tomorrow.

RiaButterflew · 21/05/2008 21:58

I am being very brave and saying "no" to that thing that has invaded my life the last 2 school hols. And I am not going to get bogged down with guilt!

Izzybel · 21/05/2008 21:59

I don't either Ria. I usually stick to nicey nicey threads and will post on threads where I agree with what is being said.
Actually, I have told a lie. I did post on a thread the other week, where the OP couldn't understand why people chose to give formula.

LittleMissNorty · 21/05/2008 22:00

good for you Ria....she surely hasn't asked you again???!!!

Right off to bed for me - night all x

Izzybel · 21/05/2008 22:02

What thing Ria? Good for you for saying no! It's not those rats guinea pigs again is it?

RiaButterflew · 21/05/2008 22:04

she sent a message with ds1 and has replied to my email with "don't want you to feel obliged", I am working on my reply...

and will try not to mention it again, I am calm, I am meant to be an adult , I can deal with this! (and will be asking CPN for a medal).

I'm off to watch the Hotel Inspector, but will be lurking.

night norty

Izzybel · 21/05/2008 22:15

Ok off to bed! Goodnight everyone xx

RiaButterflew · 21/05/2008 22:29

Seansgirlthesequel · 22/05/2008 09:43

Well done Ria & good to hear DHs day at work went well.

Sorry to hear about your health worries DKMA and Norty, can imagine must be pretty horrible, i get bad indigestion if over indulge and thats bad enough.

Off to get on with massive list of jobs....if you see me here before 7pm tell me to piss off please

pppssst! they are still at it on that thread... needs DKMA to storm in .....

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 22/05/2008 09:49

Yay Ria! Yay Ria! Well done for saying NO to the guinea pig(s?) And glad DH had a good day at work - hope it continues to go well.

My throat hurts I feel like i have small oranges stuffed in there, and when I swallow they shoot out razor blades Still, no use grumbling, it won't get the kitchen clean, the nappies hung up, the washing done, the library books returned, lunch and tea prepared, 4 miles walked, baby entertained, and 2 hours of (paid) work done, will it?

Hope everyone else is well this morning.

LittleMissNorty · 22/05/2008 09:59

Morning all...

Good on you Ria ....you've been asked quite late in the day as well so no backing down when DS1 comes home and says she can't find anyone else.....

Sorry you feel crap Jammy....hope you feel better....

Hi SG...hi anyone lurking...I also have lots to do today and must drag myself away from the PC

RiaButterflew · 22/05/2008 10:01

sorry you're having a crappy time health wise jammy. Get some fishermans friends (my gran used to swear by them).

I'm just briefly checking in, have atually washed the breakfast pots already this morning. It is easier to get on withoug DH here all day, I aim to have the downstairs cleaned and tidied before teatime. I definitely want to be cleaned and tidied everywhere before I go away next week, then it's tidy to start the spring cleaning when I get back.

DH has trotted off quite happily again.

One more word on my triumph, I have not heard back since I said no, but there is already someone going in to the house to feed the new reptile and water the garden (who is now going to feed the others too), so why even ask me? I think it was a test and I don't know if I've passed or not (it would be a whole lot easier if she just flounced and fell out with us properly, instead of all this silly strained niceness and convenience-friendship).

Back later. Have a good day all.

RiaButterflew · 22/05/2008 10:02

I promise norty (DH would kill me)

andiem · 22/05/2008 10:16

HellHathNoFury · 22/05/2008 10:20

Morning all!

I hope you are all well, except Jammy, I hope you feel better soon!

I was in an all day brainwashing session training course yesterday. Wasn't as bad as I feared.

Today I am just working...pottering on... meetings etc etc.
DS is being a royal PITA. He screamed so much last night he puked.

HellHathNoFury · 22/05/2008 10:35

I only have 3 pills left

bugger!
I don't have time for GP...bugger shit bugger

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 22/05/2008 10:39

Hi Fury. Pills as in The Pill?

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 22/05/2008 10:40

They might do you a 1 month supply on repeat prescription or something if you make an appointment for the near future?

LittleMissNorty · 22/05/2008 10:51

Any chemist will also give you one packet without prescription.

HellHathNoFury · 22/05/2008 11:12

Norty is that right? There is a boots on the way home

I thought I had more, but when I looked in the cabinet I didn't, and I looked at buying a pack (cheaper than me taking a day off iyswim) and it was £30 per month! pppfffhhh
