Here we go. I was too sick, sleepy and preoccupied with my weight to notice the old thread running out

OP posts:

LOL Jammy, just wait to LOs get started. HAve already joked that we'll be buying a Ds Nintendo for Ds 2nd birthday as he seems so obsessed with anything like laptops, pcs, mobile, remote controls, dvd players, stereos, blah blah

Seansgirlthesequel · 04/05/2008 19:44

What hair have you decided then Jammy?

foxythesnowfox · 04/05/2008 19:45

unnecessary i'm sure

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 04/05/2008 19:49

Still not sure SG. Will probably be decided on a whim when I'm in the hairdresser's chair.

Seansgirlthesequel · 04/05/2008 19:52

Maybe Foxy, but you deserve it , its an all singing and dancing one then, I just have a classic, its taken ages to work the bloody thing

Seansgirlthesequel · 04/05/2008 19:55

Am thinking of one of these for the beach when we go at end of month to Woolacombe, where can I get a nice boys one for DS?

pretty

Right am off to get a glass of wine, and settledown for that flood drama thingy on itv1. Night night xx

BumperliciousNeedsToSleep · 04/05/2008 19:57

Foxy, the iPod touch is very cool but DH says the capacity is pretty small comapred to the classic iPod.

I'm going to call the dr's on monday.

On the topic of baby obsession with technology, I bought DD a dummy phone from a mobile phone shop, one of those display ones, to stop her eating mine. That either makes me a very bad mummy or a very clever mummy...

BumperliciousNeedsToSleep · 04/05/2008 19:59

Foxy, you have mail btw.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 04/05/2008 20:06

we gave the jamlet an old remote for a video we no longer have, but she won't touch it; she only wants the real one! and she lurched for my laptop keyboard earlier and managed to shrinky-dink the font to miniature size. Took DH a while to work out what she'd done.

DKMA · 04/05/2008 20:07

Hello

Christ this weekend is going by so fast!

my baby is still awake? Usually he is flat out by 7pm but tonight he is mucking about in his cot - he keeps trying to stand up in his cot in his grobag and coming a cropper!

Hope your weekends are going ok so far? Pissing with rain here so havent been arsed to ride the horse. I did get to the gym yesterday and it was VERY exciting!

I was having a session with my personal traniner when after 15 mins some fella walked in and started kicking the shit out of him I crapped myself! This place is stupidly posh (it's a country club ffs!).

There were only 2 other people in there at the time and they just stood there looking gormless. There was a self defence class going on in the studio - so I went and got the instructor to help out. They escorted the crazy fella out of the club - turns out he was a member!

So my session was abandonded!
Guess what it was all about?

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 04/05/2008 20:09

the trainer had slept with the other bloke's missus?

foxythesnowfox · 04/05/2008 20:10

The gym binned his creche pass?

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 04/05/2008 20:11

LOL Foxy

DKMA · 04/05/2008 20:19

Pmsl Foxy

You're on the right lines Jammy!

All I can get out of my trainer (so far!) is that the other bloke managed to read his wife's facebook messages (inbox thingy) so god knows what kind of messages were on there!

Dirty little sod!!

It's very funny though cos my trainer got a right battering and he's been full of excuses today...........like 'yeh er, I couldn't hit him back because I was working and I would have got the sack' etc etc.

BumperliciousNeedsToSleep · 04/05/2008 20:30

DKMA, I would have wondered if it was some kind of test for you

I would love to have a personal trainer. I would be dead skinny if I had someone to come and drag me out every day. The thing is when I actually do exercise I work really hard, it's just getting out and doing it.

DD also has a defunct remote, and a bunch of keys (she sobs when she can't have mine )

DKMA, yesterday when I went to get DD up she was standing in her cot in her sleeping bag . Funnily enough, though she can crawl and pull herself up on furniture she has literally only just realised that she can roll over and get up from laying down.

foxythesnowfox · 04/05/2008 20:35

I thought that was a perk of the job!!!

Soon you'll be able to laugh at your LOs as they try and walk in their sleeping bags. Hours of fun

lilQuidditchKel · 04/05/2008 20:43

wow sounds like an episode of Home n Away, DKMA

Izzybel · 04/05/2008 20:44

Hey all!
Hope everyone is having a lovely bank holiday weekend.
DKMA, think I would have been quite scared! I wonder what has actually gone on between the trainer and that guys mrs .

Bumper, I gave DD one of my old mobile phones without the battery in coz she was always trying to nab mine. I bought her a toy one, but it didn't make a difference. Mind you, neither does having her own real one. She still wants mine.

I need a personal trainer and a dietician to kick me up the backside! I eat so much crap it's unbelievable.

foxythesnowfox · 04/05/2008 21:01

Hi Izzy! How's life with you?

I feel like a bag o'shite. I remember why I like to get PG. I've just had 18 months of no Aunty Flo.

I've been an intolerent bitch to my LOs all week and now I fell disgusting.

Am off to watch Gordon's kitchen nightmares USA.

And have some choc fudge cake.

DKMA · 04/05/2008 21:01

LOL
It was a bit scary tbh - the crazy bloke was massive!
LO in his grobag is very funny - like a little penguin (but a pissed off one - cos he can't figure out why his feet aren't working!)
Having a trainer is good - even if it is just once a week. He's given me the motivation to do free weights again and I've got some ace ab exercises. He knows how I used to look pre pg and buggered up thyroid so he knows what we're aiming for.
Foxy - I too thought that being a dirty bugger with other peoples wives was part of his job too! Sometimes I manage to go to the gym in the day and it's full of well kept cheshire women who are clearly bored with their husbands. They chuck themselves at the trainers - its quite nausiating (sp?). God knows what they get up to?

justbeme · 04/05/2008 21:10

Evening all!
Havent caught up yet - hope the rain stopped earlier (we only had a few spots of rain here).

I have a poorly DD. She's been having temperatures on and off for 24hrs, she's off her food and looks really "heavy" around the eyes. She's been put to bed on Medised bless her.

Oh and she did a really loud fart today whilst sitting on my lap (we were round a friends for dinner) - her nappy then exploded and half the contents shot onto the chair and onto their brand new carpet!! - Oops (thank goodness it missed my leg though!). thought yuo'd like me to share that with you all!

Izzybel · 04/05/2008 21:12

Aww Foxy, sorry you're feeling rubbish . Enjoy your fudge cake!

DKMA, that sounds so cute (your DS in his grobag - like a penguin, not the cheshire women chucking themselves at the trainers - yuck!)

Oh I am bored! Think I am pissing DP off lately, as he says I am so whingy and negative all the time . I don't mean to be.

BumperliciousNeedsToSleep · 04/05/2008 21:13

God, the first one sucks doesn't it foxy? I felt all dirty when I got my first period back

Right DH and I are going to watch the West Wing so have to give up the pooter.

Hi lilkel and Izzy btw.

Izzybel · 04/05/2008 21:14

JBM, sorry your DD is ill hope she gets better soon. Sorry, but that fart story made me smile.

Izzybel · 04/05/2008 21:15

Bye Bumper
