Have been giving DS tap water for same reasons Izzy, he drinks (purposefully) of bath water

am so bored supposed to be sort of packing / ironing but just can't be farking arsed and although I have eaten I am really really peckish..... could do with something really naughty like sticky toffee pudding and icecream...............

I'm still here - just been standing out in the freezing cold garden hanging out washing and then putting on the next lot.

Izzy, I take the chill off it but not as warm as I would do formula - she seems to be happy, but has gone from 9oz to 6oz a time within a week. I've been doing one cows milk and one formula so far and will probably continue until the forumla has all been used.

are you making bottles up with tap water? Mad innit....on one hand I'm moving her to cows milk and on the other, I'm still using boiled water for any formula she has (even though she drinks tap water all day here!!)

Norty, I'm still making bottles up with cooled, boiled water so that does sound a bit doolally doesn't it! I'm still sterilizing too, but mostly because it would feel weird not to. I would feel like I had forgotten to do something or done something wrong if I didn't .
Lord help me! I'm a sterilizing addict!

No BFing until 8 years wouldn't be my cup of tea either, but I wouldn't say so on any other thread for fear of being shot!

And I'm still sterilising formula and using boiled water like as you say it would seem odd not too.... but also still using boiled cooled water as a drink too

oh right. I'm even more odd than that as I haven't sterilised since 6 months, she's only ever drunk cold water out of a tap but all bottles have been made up with cooled boiled water (she even has her own kettle for non-filtered water )

Perhaps I should stop worrying and just do cows milk and tap water
