Here we go. I was too sick, sleepy and preoccupied with my weight to notice the old thread running out

Right I'm off too. Goodnight everyone xx

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 20/05/2008 21:49

Shit, fuck, bollocks! I just went to bed and then realised I haven't wrapped dd's presents! They are under my bed and I've just put ds to sleep in there. I'm going to have to very slyly extract them without making a sound! I'm a twat!

Night all xx

BumperliciousNeedsToSleep · 20/05/2008 21:52

Good luck Holly! Night all. Don't know if I will catch you before I go away (watching the footie tomorrow night). If not catch up with you next week. Someone text me if something major happens!

lackaDAISYcal · 20/05/2008 21:54

here I am....

I have been cleaning...again . My house os now almost officially spotless. Only DDs room and the dreaded glory hole back room/office to go. Oh, and I have to hoover downstairs and wash the kitchen floor, but I've done enough for one day....stopped for lunch and then for about an hour and a half over teatime/bedtime

Now I just have to work on keeping it like this

am waiting on my old friend arriving. Her flight has landed, so she and her new man should be with me shortly. I haven't seen her for 2.5 years so am v v excited.

anyway, just a quick pop in and out again. I'll probably be off line for a few days as RL to entertain.

Take care all..

Seansgirlthesequel · 20/05/2008 22:20

Arse! I've just popped in after a mammoth catch up and everyones fecked off!

Hope you and Dh sort it out Bumper! Hiya & night night Fury!

He is getting everywhere though, and keeps hurting himself.

DH has gone to work, and I am meant to be in daisy-major-cleaning mode. Have done a bit...

Seansgirlthesequel · 21/05/2008 11:00

Glad you had a better night Sputnik. Hopefully DSs appetite will pick up soon. DS is still not crawling, but dragging himself commando style if hes really bothered about something, usually the dvd drawer but keeps shutting his own fingers in.

Well busy here at chez SG, but totally gob smacked at £109 for DS passport and DDs renewal, ok I paid for the check & sign service,£109! FGS so on my way back through the shopping centre I went through debenhams I had to be very strong and put some 50% off dresses for DD back on the rails, they were beautiful sob! white tiered and blah blah, very girly.

Right off to do more washing and ironing

Seansgirlthesequel · 21/05/2008 11:02

Hiya Ria, skiving off domestic drudgery like me I see!

Has anyone given LOs honey yet? is it 12 months? Have just mistakenly in debenhams fed Ds some honey and banana (no points on ww of course) muffin. am hoping there wasn't much in it.

Seansgirlthesequel · 21/05/2008 11:04

Right, step away from the pc SG, do it now... quietly ..... with no fuss.....

Sputnik · 21/05/2008 11:24

Yes, Baby Sputnik in honey eating
The risk is tiny, and mostly for babies under 6 months. I don't believe there's a magic switch that goes off at 12 months and it's suddenly ok. Anyway, he's the weight of a 2 year old.

Infact, he had a check yesterday and is nearly 13 kgs. He has also moved from 75th to 90th %ile for height, so a bit more in proportion.
The paed complimented me on my weight loss, so she is my new best friend.

Sputnik · 21/05/2008 11:27

It's only 5kgs, but I love her anyway
God I really should be doing something to this house....

foxythesnowfox · 21/05/2008 12:00

Hey Sputnik, sounds like all is going well then?!

LO is shitting for Britain. No wonder I can't get anything done. Here we go again ...

foxythesnowfox · 21/05/2008 12:03

LOL, DD1 has watached too much TV today. I've told her I'm going to turn it off because I'm being a bad mummy.

'Your only a bit of a bad mummy.' she tells me.

'You are good at driving'.

how's that for a confidence boost?!

foxythesnowfox · 21/05/2008 12:08

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALICE

Seansgirlthesequel · 21/05/2008 12:54

Gaahhh! I'm being sucked in again.... Special Birthday Princess wishes to Alice!

Hi Foxy, Don't you just love 'em? The first word DD could read was TESCO! Dorry to hear still has the runs tho.

Sputnik, you are of course talking sense about the 12 month switch. Whats 13kg in real weight? DS is 26lbs 8oz, and long too, not sure how long tho. Well done on the weight too!

Right off, again!

Seansgirlthesequel · 21/05/2008 12:55

Dorry? Dorry what kinda of flippin word is that FGS? SORRY I meant!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 21/05/2008 12:55

Just sent dd off to pre-school in tears . I feel really mean because it's her birthday and she didn't want to go, but I know she'll have fun once she's there. Luckily dp was here and took her in the car, I don't think I would have taken her if I had been here on my own! I just get so upset when she's upset!

Also I'm a bad mum! At pre school they are allowed to take special biscuits or cakes in for snack time on their birthdays...well I forgot to get something for her to take, so I've sent her in with an open pack of chocolate shortbread biscuits that I've eaten 2 of !

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 21/05/2008 13:00

Hope your shitty little person is ok foxy!

Yes sg, my dd can read the word Tesco too!!

I went to Aldi last week because I wanted to see what their veggies were like. When I got home dp called me a pikey for going to the pikey shop! We were in the local shops yesterday and dd asked me really loudly "Mummy is this the pikey shop?"! I was motified!

Seansgirlthesequel · 21/05/2008 13:03

Holly, poor you try not to worry about her, like you say she'll be absolutely fine. DD didn't want to go either this morning but once her teacher came out she went to hold her hand on the way in, and didn't even look back! (parents not allowed into classrooms) When they first started we were allowed in, one day saw DDs friend in classroom laughing and playing when had only just met her mum down the road in tears as she had to drag her in to the classroom in tears!

And I wouldn't give the biscuits another thought, they'll still taste the same won't they? and the kids won't notice!
