Well done Izzy, my house is also a tip, but have actually stopped caring. After all what is the point of tidying when all your hard work gets destroyed 5 minutes later?!

I do NOT have great bangers, they are saggy and horrible, but I guess they do what they were intended to do!

No sputnik, I am not still reading that book, though I may start reading it again tonight, it is one of the best books ever! I never update my books I'm reading, I go through so many I would be constantly updating it!

I've got another 8 years (well 7 and half) before I get birthday ishoos again. It's the "5" years I don't like. 20 was fine, 30 was fine, I imagine (hope) 40 will be fine. But hated 25 and 35 like you wouldn't believe.

Even thinking of 45 is making me feel all tense

My house is always a tip! But I have had enough of it, and enough of DPs whinging "you don't do anything all day!" I have decided that I am going to just do a room a day and try to keep on top of it. It will be difficult because of the whirl wind that is DD, but really I am a tidy person trapped in the body of a really really really really messy person.

OK. Time for me to go to bed. I've been up 17 hours, and the jamlet is teething badly so no guarantees for a full night tonight. And it's "Make & Play" at our children's centre, so we want to be out on time. I think the theme tomorrow is snakes though. Ugh!

Oh, btw - 23rd is no good as it's DH's birthday (if I am speaking to him by then).

I have found that looking around my house at head height usually works for me...if I look at the floor then I get all stressed and start tidying!

Grrr...I've got to go ds is sat on my lap screaming with snot all over his face. Not sure what is wrong with him, but I spose I'd best go and find out!
