Hi fury, how's it going? Been busy? Hope your house is lurgy free for a change.

I'm just popping in quickly mid fight with DH as DD kept biting me this evening and I was getting pretty pissed. His helpful response was to tell me not to be mad at the baby, she doesn't know, she doesn't understand it if I tell her off. Well, why doesn't he have her chomp down on his nipples and see how restrained he can be? I got mad at his lack of sympathy and he got mad coz it's "always all about me". So we are currently Not Talking.

I have a fecking mountain of ironing to do, which as a rule I generally don't both with but I've just hoicked all my summer stuff out from one of those vacuum bags.

I'm going to my dad's for a few days this weekend (sorry you can't meet up daisy ). it's a four hour drive just me and DD! The good news is she has slept in her travel cot for the past few nights and not woken up, so shuldn't be the broken sleep I've feared.

Sorry haven't really caught up with anyone else. JBM I wouldn't worry about how often you are feeding. DD still feeds about 4 or 5 times a day, though not at night. I would think you could try and cut that one now, but only if it bothers you.

Hope you are all ok. Ria, hope DH is ok.

Yes we are mainly lurgy-free. We did have a DS crisis last week and I ended up taking the day off to look after him.

I had a bit of a flounce. Felt a bit jaded with it all. Now I have calmed down I am back

Bumper, sorry to hear you're Not Talking. Hope things smooth over soon. And good luck with the ironing - have fun Hope you have a nice time at your Dad's. It's a 4 hour plus drive to my parents and I was dreading it the first time I did it with just me & the jamlet, but it was OK. Hope it goes as well for you.

Good luck with the drive Jammy although I am sure you'll be fine.

Also - Bumper, sorry to hear about you and DH. This parenting lark can be hard enough without parental disagreements!

Ahh, Bumper. Sounds like things are normal chez Bumper then (normal as in normal for everyone, not the norm just in your house... oh heck ... digs hole deeper for the other foot ... you know what I mean!)

Hey fury, haven't spoken to you in about 13388485 years! Hope you and yours are well.

I have been busy today, I have made dd a Peppa Pig cake (see pic on profile) and am quite proud of my Nigellaishness (although I'm sure Nigella's little dahhhhrlings don't have Peppa Pig cakes)!

I didn't watch HTLGN foxy, I was putting the finishing touches to the cake . I do, however, love Gok and want to be Gokked. I want him to tell me I have great "bangers" and that I'm not as fat as I think I am!!

DS has started running now, but only for about 5-6 steps, then he face plants at a much higher velocity and thus does more damage.

I am fecking knackered! I've cleaned the house from top to bottom today, made tea, washed up, bathed DD and took the dog out and now I'm ready to collapse!

Re: feeding DD will not let me feed her anymore but she can't quite use a spoon, she just does it with her fingers. Norty, she does exactly what your DD does if I try to feed her!
