Here we go. I was too sick, sleepy and preoccupied with my weight to notice the old thread running out

Hi there ladies!

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 16/05/2008 19:38

You're right it has been very quiet today.

Daisy, glad that it sounds as if you're into the good stage!

lackaDAISYcal · 16/05/2008 19:42

hey jammy

on what you were saying earlier about the jamlet......that ball thing I linked to is good cos when you touch it it rolls off on it's own. It has some sort of off centred weighted ball inside so it goes off in different directions. Shall I send it to you?

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 16/05/2008 19:48

Hi Daisy

Don't you want it yourself? (Well for LOs more than you )

foxythesnowfox · 16/05/2008 19:55

great to hear you are feeling good Daisy

Hi Jammy!

FrazzledFairyFay · 16/05/2008 19:55

Hellllllllo peeps. I am SO glad it's the weekend. This week seems to have lasted forever. I have a large G&T which is helping me forget...

How is everyone else this evening?

foxythesnowfox · 16/05/2008 19:56

Hey FFF! What's been happening? Sounds like you've earned that G&T!

lackaDAISYcal · 16/05/2008 19:56

durrr...forgetting that the reason I'm blooming is that I'm actually properly pregnant

well we won't be needing it for a while so you can send it back when the jamlet gets bored with it or decides it's not worth chasing!

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 16/05/2008 19:57

hey Foxy! I thought of you this afternoon (saw the Foxy Bingo ad on TV ) How are you feeling now?

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 16/05/2008 19:59

In that case then, yes please Daisy Can I offer you anything for it/postage? (Will still send it back when she's had her fun with it of course)

foxythesnowfox · 16/05/2008 20:01

Ok thanks, DP been off work for two days. With a vomiting bug which hasn't involved vomiting for him .

Baby is off colour today. Symptoms suggest teething, but she's a grumpus.

It is taking a long time to get over, and I still feel quesey and little appetite. I've had a pain in my shoulder, kind of like a stitch, but in my shoulder. And its really bothering me.

oooh, I'm a whinger!

FrazzledFairyFay · 16/05/2008 20:01

Nothing particularly bad has happened, it's just seemed to be a really long week. DS has been getting really frustrated and screechy whenever I say no, or he can't reach something (which happens a lot!) and I've found it a bit wearing that's all really.

How's the vomiting Foxy household?

Daisy, I'm so glad you feel like you are blooming, taht's really lovely

Jammy, it sounds s if the Jamlet is fine, she just doesn't see the point in crawling when she can get what she wants without doing so.

lackaDAISYcal · 16/05/2008 20:02

I think I've still got your address somewhere from sending the nappies. I'll check and get it sent off on Monday. I better take the batteries out before sending it though or else the postman will be chasing it up your street

FrazzledFairyFay · 16/05/2008 20:03

Ouch, that sounds painful, Foxy. Could it be as a result of the puking? It sounds like your DP has the vomiting equivalent of man-flu

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 16/05/2008 20:03

Hi Fairy. We have sausages, potatos, yorkshire puddings and beans for tea in about 15 minutes, and I've been wondering what drink to have with it. Not sure what a professional would say, but a large G&T sounds tempting!

lackaDAISYcal · 16/05/2008 20:04

fairy I've had a week of DS bursting into tears at the drop of a hat, so I feel your pain. No medicinal G'n'T for me though unfortunately

FrazzledFairyFay · 16/05/2008 20:05

I had my G&T with gammon steak and chips - not a classic combo but lovely all the same. Unfortunately the G&T is gone and the gin bottle is empty .

lackaDAISYcal · 16/05/2008 20:06

foxy, really bad indigestion can cause referred shoulder pain. If your guts are in knots that might be what's causing it. Have you got any indigestion stuff left over from your pregnancy with DD2?

FrazzledFairyFay · 16/05/2008 20:06

Oh dear Daisy, It's SO wearing isn't it? Unfortunately a T doesn't quite cut the mustard does it

lackaDAISYcal · 16/05/2008 20:08

not quite, but I'm hooked on lime and soda at the minute so I'm quite happy.

Having my classic chinese choice of chicken fried rice with chips and curry sauce for tea....can't wait

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 16/05/2008 20:11

Thanks Daisy, if you need a reminder of the address email or FB me. Good point about the batteries - or he might wonder what sort of vibrating equipment I'm getting delivered!

A parcel arrived today, something I've bought for the jamlet 's birthday from ebay Another one to go with it should be on the way. The first is a car similar to this - it's blue not pink and we haven't tried it yet (no batteries) so can't see if it has the same functionality as the amazon one. And the second thing I bought is 4 more people to go with it. She plays with these (well chews on them) at our children's centre and they're great. i want to get her some of the animals too.

foxythesnowfox · 16/05/2008 20:11

mmmm sounds delish!

A nurse I know asked if I was PG, as a pain in your shoulder can be a symptom. Its called deferred pain apparently, like when you have Appendicitus, the Dr will test a part of your body on the opposite side for pain.

I'm not, BTW.

foxythesnowfox · 16/05/2008 20:12

a symptom of ectopic pregnancy I meant.

FrazzledFairyFay · 16/05/2008 20:14

Hmmm, foxy, you do seem to be denying that a lot recently

foxythesnowfox · 16/05/2008 20:21

LOL FF!
