Hello

This time last year I was in SOOOOOO much pain!!! And walking up and down the corridor to the loo every 5 minutes I swear I've never peed so often in my life! For some reason I didnt put that in my birth announcement!

This time this year I am knackered! Had lovely day though. D been bfing a lot today for some reason, was sat on edge of armchair earlier with him stood between my legs and he pulled my top down and latched himself on standing up! Played lots this morning then had a bath together which we not done for ages. Popped into town to get a few bits and then went pizza hut for tea as J too tired to drive anywhere. Was really nice though, D ate lots and was very happy as he has been all day And loved the balloon he got at the end, went completely doolally with it!

Hes a strange boy, screamed his head off in a lift earlier(big clunky staff lift as customer one out of order) in town when woman banged the door a bit but popped a balloon in his own face at the weekend and didnt bat an eyelid!

Anyway I'm exhausted, bad night last night, so off to bed in a min. Will try and do more personals tomorrow.

Oh thanks for saying my pics are nice and how cute D is!! I am a bit pic obsessed (you may have noticed ) but think I really need to take a few off. Was lol at Caz saying you 'took the time' to look at them, think I may have got a little carried away!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 23/04/2008 22:32

It's a bit quieter, but we still have threads that move fast, I think it's just that more of us are back at work and struggle to find the time

(except those that MN at work )

elkiedee · 24/04/2008 00:33

Happy belated birthday yet again, this time to Dylan and to the mini-wilderbeastie.

I'm one of those who struggles to keep up. I have to resist the temptation to MN at work, I can't afford to get into trouble like that again. Also, I'm surprised it's not blocked already as most sites under the category "blogs and forums" are.

Eddas · 24/04/2008 08:22

Belated happy birthdays to Dylan and baby Thewilderbeast

{{{{{{hugs}}}}} oooggs

NL {{{hugs}}}} to you too, moving is sooooooo stressful. Hang on in there, it will be worth it

spb hope t is ok

dh has been off sick mon-wed, but back to work today, horah he had a really bad neck/back and couldn't turn which isn't helpful in his job plus he has to bike 4 miles each way so not a great idea when you can't turn your head!

off into town this morning to try and find something new to wear to my work do tomorrow night, oh and to change one of ds' birthday presents. I might get him a blue buggy and doll and maybe a boy bag. He loves carrying dd's pink bags but dh is not amused

oo oo oo and my whiplash claim has been settled so i'm going to get some money soon i have plans for half of it already a new bed is part of it and i can't wait ours is so uncomfortable, yipeeeeeeeeeeeee

Eddas · 24/04/2008 08:23

i forgot, potc i have no idea who would mn at work >

AngeG · 24/04/2008 08:24

Morning

Sorry about the hitch with the move NL. Glad B had a good day at nursery.

Glad D had a good birthday Pesha. Izzy loves balloons, she'll play with them for ages!

Went to Jake's 'big' school meeting last night. It was a pretty samey tbh. I'm not sure I'm totally happy with the school. I'm really worried as my baby won't really know any of the other children and from a totally selfish pov I won't know any of the parents. I hate the thought of standing on my own in the playground

Hope everyone has a better day today. xx

AngeG · 24/04/2008 08:31

x posts Eddas. Hooray to your claim being settled and having some money Jake had a doll and a blue pushchair, he used to play with it a lot.

Hope T ok SPB. Have you spoken to gp about possible intolerances? A little boy of a friend had a bad bug and than became milk intolerant for a while. It's something to do with the hairs lining the stomach apparently! Hope he's better soon.

Bramshott · 24/04/2008 09:10

Morning all!

Sorry to hear about school worries Ange - I'm sure you'll be fine once he's there but it's understandable you're a bit worried in advance. At least if you have met the other parents, you can talk if you see them in the park or wherever?

I had a text from IDOC - she is fine just madly, madly busy!

Doobydoo · 24/04/2008 09:23

mORNING all.hurrah re claim eddas
Poor you and T SPB Ireally hope you can get it sorted.
Hope the school goes well Ange.I agree with Bramshott.I would be worried in advance too.But I bet it will all be fine[not much help sorry]
.
WE are thinking of moving in a year or so if dp's job is ok.As ds1 will prob go to secondary school, and though it is a few years away need to get established. There is a primary attached to the school so we thought we should pay a visit to both.
Hope all have a good day

CaptainDippy · 24/04/2008 10:02

Morning all

cazboldy · 24/04/2008 10:14

Morning all

Pesha - sorry about my "taking the time to look comment" they really are lovely....I really need to take more photos (although I did take a few of Molly in the bath last night )

SPB - I hope T feels better soon. Do you think he is intolerant to anything? Might it be worth keeping a diary of when he is ill and what he has eaten??

Lots of things to juggle today, and most of them need to happen all at the same time so not sure how I am going to sort that out yet

NorthernLurker · 24/04/2008 10:19

Morninng - I have to go and get B ready for nursery and it's pouring outside and I don't want to go outside! The girls are off school though because of the strike so I didn't have to do a school run - hurrah!

cazboldy · 24/04/2008 10:23

All of mine are at school.

The eldest boy my mum fosters is off though

mammyjo · 24/04/2008 10:48

Morning all. I have a child free few hours as dd in nursery and ds in school! Yippee!!
Not sure how long ds will last though as he has an ear infection, although he told me it wasn't hurting and he wanted to go to school so will wait and see. I spoke to his teacher (who is so lovely that I don't want him to come to the end of reception year!), and she said she will keep an eye on him.

Ange, you will be fine with school. I am sure that there were several other mums there thinking the exact same thing as you. I didn't know anyone when ds started, but now its a regular old mother's meeting!! I am lucky that ds is in a class with nice children and lovely mums.

Eddas, fab news about the claim. I need a new bed too, of you for that!!

Caz, glad you and dh sorted things out between you

Oooggs, hope you are ok today. Have been thinking about you xxx

That's it, can't remember any more. See you later xxx

cazboldy · 24/04/2008 10:58

We need a new mattress....it has a spring coming through. Is it really mean that I have turned it round on to dh's side as he won't do anything about it otherwise?

CaptainDippy · 24/04/2008 11:06

LOL Caz Kind of thing I do .... DH still doesn't notice though

Enjoy MJ!!

StealthPolarBear · 24/04/2008 11:40

Morning
They think T has a urine infection AND HAS HAD IT FOR THE LAST 4 WEEKS
his temp started going up last night, and he's been sick again today.
Should get ABs tomorrow for it. Bet the next fight is to not have to stop breastfeeding - anyone got any experience/advice?
We've had to cancel his party
Can't believe my little boy is going to be one and not having a party.

cazboldy · 24/04/2008 11:52

Oh spb

Poor little man

can't you just postpone it?
