hi all
feeling a bit bleugh but not really sure why
think it's cos the sun's gone in

Pesha · 23/04/2008 11:51

Should move down here POTC, we have sun!

Sol - glad K enjoyed Jo Jingles And yes, D is a little chubber now!

Pesha · 23/04/2008 12:04

Have just put a couple of pics of D on profile, 2 from party and 1 from this morning. No cake pics as Paddington had 1 big fat arm that really shows up in photos so it not good enough to show off!

Doobydoo · 23/04/2008 12:41

Pics are fab Pesha.
So glad you had your scan MJ.i KNOW THE THOUGHT OF SURGERY IS SCARY BUT AT LEAST YOU KNOW WHAT IT IS.i WILL SIT down later and try and catch up properly.Yhe comp still goes off and on so i feel i have to be quick.Birds have built another nest in chimney so we will leave the fire alone[they are so resilient] the force of nature and the need to reproduce eh? WEll we should know!
Take care all.xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Bramshott · 23/04/2008 12:41

Wow Pesha, he has really grown!

mammyjo · 23/04/2008 13:04

Pesha, I had a look at your photos and was thinking that D looks a lot like N now doesn't he. Don't remember noticing that when I met them both before! Fab photos, he looks so cute Hope you have a lovely day with him

POTC, hope you are ok

Dooby, that sounds like a pita with the birds in the chimney. We got one down ours once, the gas man had to come and disconnect the fire to get the bird out (which was alive), he put it out the front door and it just flew away. Bloody things!!

Sexonlegs · 23/04/2008 13:15

Birds = beaks, feet, feathers and shit!

Sorry! Not a fan of them [sol scuttles off before the RSPB are set on her]

StealthPolarBear · 23/04/2008 13:26

Happy Birthday Dylan!
oooggs - what a scare! Glad he is OK

mamiguay · 23/04/2008 13:50

HAPPY BIRTHDAY D!! Lovely pics Pesha, I can't believe how big he is, that was some growth spurt indeed

Ange thanks for saying N is cute, I do think he is rather wonderful myself

Oooggs - what a fright for you, glad he's ok x

I've been rather relieved to read what everyone gives meal wise and to see N seems pretty normal, sometimes worry I overfeed him.. we give

Brekkie - rice krispies or 1 weetabix and banana
Snack - yoghurt or fruit
Lunch - with my mum - some kind of veg puree, no idea how much
Snack - yog or fruit again or maybe a jam sandwich (1 slice folded over, not 2!) or biscuit etc
Dinner - soup, lentil bolognaise, ratatoiulle, whatever but approx up to the 160/180ml line on the avent milk pots (leftover from expressing - oh those distant days!)

He does not really do finger food. If I hand him something he holds his hands up like 'I'm not touching that' and waits for me to bring it to his mouth so all my blw ideas have long since died a death. He won't even hold a spoon. I think he thinks I am terribly impertinant for trying to get him to

He still has a breastfeed at approx 6am, 5.30pm and before bed. Mostly night weaned but has wanted a feed the last two nights, I think maybe to do with the upheaval of nursery??

Cupcakes went well yesterday, very tasty, but as suspected I do need to practice on the icing a bit more. Oh well, cupcakes every day til monday it is then

Noah is an absolute gem, he's been full of cold and a bit whingey with it but he's still a star. Plays peekaboo at any opportunity (see profile pics) and if he's wandering out of my sight all I have to say is 'Where's Noah?!) and he comes slip slapping straight back to show me 'here I am!!'. He can do kisses, almost waves goodbye, says 'Duck' although he actually says 'A-Du!' as we are always saying, look, it's 'a duck', claps. He stopped doing his water sign ages ago when he realised he didn't really need to ask as he's always being offered anyway

Hmmmm.. I guess that was really for the catch up thread but I've done it now and got to go again!

Hope you all have a lovely afternoon!

cazboldy · 23/04/2008 14:13

Haven't gone to toddlers, as they were both asleep, and have only just had lunch!

dh has apologised - sort of.....well as good as I am going to get anyway

oooggs · 23/04/2008 14:52

I have just popped home for some space..........

Phone call from nursery - J another 'bad' nappy and very sore bum, she didn't know about his 'scare'!! but does now - he improved as morning went on

I was looking for something at work this morning and was on my knees, pulled out a box of files and the whiteboard (3x2m) fell on my forehead, ouch (and many other words) and I just cried, in pain, lack of sleep and shock - all ok and no lasting damage

More importantly - HAPPY BIRTHDAY DYLAN

I have had enough - its one thing after another, I feel really disorganised and am struggling with the menu planning (which I know I have to do) as its boring, but I can't pop places to get stuff

Bollocks to it all

But the sun is shining and I forgot to put washing on

sorry to moan and drip aaaaarrrrggggghhhhhhh

NL???

AngeG · 23/04/2008 17:32

Hello all

Happy birthday Dylan!! He's got so big Pesha...what a cutie

Thanks for all your food plans/ideas. You've all made me feel better about it.

Oooggs - So sorry you're having a bad time.

NL - Is everything ok?

Will be back later, got a meeting for Jake going to big school!

NorthernLurker · 23/04/2008 17:41

Sorry I meant to come back and explain the scream but I got distracted by the need to be horrid to my middle child who keeps asking for food when I am stressed!
House move has hit a slight bump - we will complete whenever. Our buyer is now saying he won't be ready to exchange till week after next and wanted to complete the next week - but our vendors are on holiday then so they want to complete next week or the end of the blithering month. I've got a headache and am hugely pissed off with the whole thing!

On the plus side I left B for over an hour at nursery and she was perfectly happy. No tears at all.

cazboldy · 23/04/2008 18:24

NL - sorry about the hitch with your move, but glad B was happy at Nursery

Oooggs - sorry you are feeling so down x

Pesha - Dylan is indeed a cutie.....I just took the time to look at all of your photos and they are really lovely

NorthernLurker · 23/04/2008 18:26

Oh I forgot - Happy Birthday Dylan

Sorry you and dh had words Caz.

I had a text from Dippy earlier - her internet is knackered so I don't know when she'll be back on.

Sorry for being self-centred and moaning about the house - I was just starting to get excited and now I just feel stressed to the max!

cazboldy · 23/04/2008 18:28

well they say that it's one of the most stressful things you will do in your life......

cazboldy · 23/04/2008 18:29

it was only something daft NL, I just got annoyed because he snapped at me, and as in kind of involved his family we were bound to disagree!

cazboldy · 23/04/2008 18:34

and I just read your very good advice on the larger families thread......what a sensible woman you are

I will re-read that message again next time I am broody

CaptainDippy · 23/04/2008 19:53

She's back!

Hsppy Birthday *Dylan!!
