Justin is a knob. What happened Fri night, Pillock??

NorthernLurker · 06/04/2008 18:31

we have now had snow but it was too wet to settle.

Yes - POTC - what did that knobhead do?

elkiedee · 06/04/2008 18:45

Yes, snow hardly ever settles even as much as that in London, though it did melt fast, you wouldn't know now.

POTC, like CD and NL, I'd like to know what he did wrong?

CaptainDippy · 06/04/2008 19:33

Oooooooooooooh!!!!

NorthernLurker said knobhead

I'm telling ........

NorthernLurker · 06/04/2008 19:37

weeonion · 06/04/2008 19:42

NL _ i am so old - i dont even know what that means[ grin]

NorthernLurker · 06/04/2008 19:47

Hi WO - any work news?

CaptainDippy · 06/04/2008 19:51

Well I am young and impressionable so you oldies had better watch what you say in front my sensitive little ears.

PillockOfTheCommunity · 06/04/2008 20:48

Remember the rather detailed list so he couldn't get anything wrong?

well

He bought Alpro Soya dairy free alternative to .............. single cream instead of milk.
He had just 2 cartons of formula, as I'd say J would probably want 2 feeds, no spares in case he woke up more seeing as he was in a strange place or anything.
He bought Huggies stay dry nappies instead of Pampers Active Fit.
Then he announced that he had no money for me, although not until I asked him where it was.

I know this all sounds petty, but as it meant he then had to leave J with our friend so he could go back and get the right things, and after trying to make it as easy as possible for him to get it right, it fucked me off rather.

It was more that he could be that clueless and I was about to hand over responsibility for my precious baby to him.

Evening all. Love the word knobhead!!

Blimey, lots to catch up on.

Belated Happy Birthday to Molly and Esme. xx

MJ, what a pants time. As they say, things can only get better...!!! Have a hug xx

Oooggs, wow at J walking! Even less rest now Hope you get a better night tonight.

POTC, so... what has J done? We are waiting with anticipation!

NL, glad you got your big girls back.

WCL, sorry to hear things are not grand with various family members.

Runny hope you and yours had a lovely time at the park.

Forgotten everything else now .

We have spent the weekend with friends in Sevenoaks, which was fab. They have 2 dc's - a 4 year old and a 2 year old, so they all played really nicely together. Had tons of snow there as well, and the children were out on the sledge and building snowmen.
Got home and met up with some friends locally and had a a yummy pub tea - couldn't be arsed to cook!!
I am knackered. Our friends head up a girls' boarding house, so we stayed in one of the rooms, and the beds are so tiny! Got a crap nights' sleep and feel like a zombie!!

How is everyone tonight?

News on the man front chez Pillock -
(I know you like a good gossip session )

There is no way it's going to work with me and M's dad. I must have been mad to think it could, we get on great as friends, but the minute you try to make it more we just clash on everything. I don't want to go back to that.
SofaBoy is still lovely, but there just isn't enough there for me to be able to commit to him, I don't feel enough. It makes me sad in a way, as he's excellent with the boys, I know he loves me, I love him in lots of ways, but I just couldn't be completely happy in the long term.
Remember the this time last week? Well that was because I may have spent some time with the housemate, if you get what I mean . It was fun, and next time he splits up with the gf I'd happily oblige, but I don't want anything more from him.

So, I'm resolutely single for the time being, and actually quite happy about it

He bough cream??? Has he got his baby confused with a kitten? Don't answer that.....

Re the men situation - being friends with M's dad is really important - I can see why you would happy to stick with that. poor old Sofaboy - still you've given it time and if it isn't clicking....

PillockOfTheCommunity · 06/04/2008 21:07

Ooh, and I went to my boss' 40th last night, apart from M's dad being grumpy in the corner it was good fun, first time I've been out socially with some of my colleagues, and I met the wife of one of them who was hilarious, the people I work with can seem quite snobby but she was telling us how she'd done a poo so big she called her hubby in to see it

There is a possiblilty that I will be changing jobs. I work in an office with 2 guys who work for my boss, although one of them then has his own staff too, and a guy who is on the same level as my boss. This guy has been given the go ahead to employ an assistant as all he has at the moment is minimal admin support from me. His assistant would do what I do, but also some more accountancy based stuff. I had been talking about doing my AAT and it has been suggested that I should consider applying for the job for him when he finalises the job spec. I get on really well with him, and I know I'd enjoy it, he's confident that I have the ability too. So, I just have to wait, then think seriously about it once it gets advertised. Am actually quite excited about it

pmsl
the wedding hat would be pointless anyway, I don't do marriage

the worst bit was that Justin didn't notice, he was busy telling me how great it was that he'd been able to get individual servings of milk, and I'm sitting there wondering how, when they don't sell them, when he holds up the carton. It has a picture of a bowl of strawberries and cream on the front. I ask him to read the front. He reads dairy free. I tell him to read more. He realises what he's done. Then asks if he can just water it down. I think he was joking

Fab news about the job pillock. I am still looking, but haven't found anything yet. Have had word about something coming up during the coming months which sounds good though. I am waiting for the job spec, but if it suits, then it could mean potential promotion for me!!

AngeG · 06/04/2008 21:12

Hello all

Belated Happy Birthday to Molly and Esme.

MJ - Sorry you've had a rough couple of days, hope you're feeling happier soon.

Bramshott glad you've heard about the job.

Hello 2hotcrossbunnies Good luck going back to work.

Dippy - I want to see the pic of the snow fairy.

Oooggs - which cars are you looking at? [nosey]

Someone asked about Izzy's present. (Mammyjo?) It's this can get it from Mothercare and Early Learning Centre. Izzy and Jake have had great fun playing on it

We had a fair amount of snow today. Jake was very excited went out in his wellies and pyjames Izzy was fascinated she kept touching the snow!

Thanks for all the comments about Izzy and the photos. I think it's the haircut that has made her look older. She's still quite dinky at 17lbs 6oz!
