CaptainDippy · 11/04/2008 11:15

Where is everyone today!!!?

Pesha · 11/04/2008 11:31

Hi all

SOL and Dippy - sorry you're both feeling rough

SPB - not the same flu as before although mild flu type symptoms. Woke up this morning with sore throat and slight earache.

Just had a woman to look at my house, turned up an hour early so I was still sweeping and J not amused aswas sleeping here today (so I can use car) so had to get up. She likes house and she has what sounds likea nice house in a nice village. Gonna have a drive by later. J not so keen as it a bit further for him to get to but I think only by about 5 minutes and other things more important to me. She also said she knows of the woman whose house I like and said she doesn't really want to move just likes looking at other people's houses which is what J had been saying. Although not sure if that true or not but whatever I am running out of patience with her being so picky.

oooggs · 11/04/2008 11:39

sol - I know how you feel - since my last post I went to lie down on bed, fell asleep and phone has just woken me up.

My ears feel blocked, I'm tired and have a headache with a scratchy throat.

Just forcing some food down as have to get dcs in 40 mins

CaptainDippy · 11/04/2008 11:53

Hope it all sort out soon Pesha - this woman sounds like a right PITA!!

Right, need to go and feed the girlies and then off out ofr the pm .....

Sexonlegs · 11/04/2008 12:31

Where is everyone??

Dippy, enjoy your afternoon

Oooggs, it sounds like lots of us are having similar symptoms. I am so short tempered today as I feel so rough and B is so demanding. She doesn't stop talking/demanding and I just want some quiet!!!!!!!!!

Hopefully dh will be home by 3. I might go to bed.

Pouring with rain here as well. It is dh's birtday tomorrow so B is making him a card so at least she has that to focus on.

penpotEca · 11/04/2008 12:34

at all the poorly mummies. Hope you are feeling better soon. xx

pesha - that woman sounds like she's wasting your time. And at just wanting to have a nose around other people's houses.

T is fasto in his cot and has been for the last 2 hours . Although he hasn't slept properly for 10 days. Well, it's given me some time to catch up on the cleaning. Lucky me

Eddas · 11/04/2008 12:59

I CAN HEAR a whole week with my left ear blocked, it's a miracle

We are doing a huge tidy of the house this afternoon. We lead an exciting life

Pesha · 11/04/2008 13:09

DC are driving me INSANE!!!

M and N completely hyper, playing/fighting/playing/eating/fighting/screaming/fighting/whinging/eating/playing/fighting/crying/ eating/shrieking/moaning/climbing... And its raining outside and I have no money to go anywhere or do anything.

D has slept for about 20 minutes, the longest daytime nap hes had all week and hes whingy and grumpy. Has bad cough and think could also be teething.

I'm so tired. J still sleeping and prob gonna be miserable git when he does get up. And he told dc earlier he'd take them to park today but with the rain and him being tired I'm pretty sure he wont. If it was me I wouldn't have said anything til actually about to go cos now all I've had from them all day is 'when can we go to the park', 'we want to go to the park mummy', 'can we go to the park now...' well that and 'I'm huuuuungrrrrrrrryyy'!

And I have another 9 days of this...

Eddas · 11/04/2008 13:21

oh pesha do you have anything planned at all for the other 9 days. I felt exactly like this during the summer holidays. Also agree with not telling dc you're going anywhere until you are just about to leave. The endless 'when are we going' questions are unbearable with one doing it, let alone 2

Pesha · 11/04/2008 13:45

Hi Eddas - have just gone and sat on my own for 5 mins for a fag and calmed down a bit now! We do have some plans for next week, J is taking some time off work to spend time with them which should help a lot. Will be going to zoo as D's birthday treat, prob next wed or thurs. And will be seeing my friend whos dd is my dd's best friend so that will be good too. And my mum is a teacher so is off work too so might see if we can go somewhere with her for a day or even just round to her house.

Its just boredom thats making them so difficult today and me being under the weather really isn't helping my patience. Praying summer is sunny this year so they can play outside lots in summer hols or i don't know how I'll cope!

How are things with you?

Eddas · 11/04/2008 14:30

Please you calmed down a bit, it's so hard when they're doing that bored whine

Glad you have some plans I realised that I need plans in the future so we have friends i'm meeting up with each day i'm not at work next week.

All ok here thanks, dd helping clean the house in preparation for the party tomorrow. She hilarious, hasn't stopped talking for about an hour Off to tackle her bedroom soon, wonder what i'll find

Eddas · 11/04/2008 14:45

just re-read the first bit of my last post and it's sounds like i said 'please calm down' but i meant i'm pleased you calmed down
