Afternoon all,

I was feeling very smug up until and hour ago I thought I was running 30mins early so keeping the waiting room happy, sadly the clock in my room had not been changed - oops very sheepish.

Wilkie - how are the chavs this morning, any of it rubbing off yet sorry about yesterday damned bugs. When is j's next session?

Vino - have you finished painting yet? Remind me when is your due date? Medical school is defineitly a fading menmory - worse so after ds arrived, I seem to find myself gazing at people thinking yep definitely know you - did it to my next door neighbour yesterday very embarrassed but I was sleep deprived which is my excuse and sticking by it!

LAL - jealous over the gardening our looks like a tip much to the annoyance of neighbours who are all retired and measure their blades of grass and count the worms.I can feel the tutting from here.

Shimmer - about you GP I have to say we are rather relaxed when it comes to stuff like that pretty but a revolving door policy sometimes you do have to say no if a clinic has all gone tits up but it sounds like they were just being arsey. Hope the throat is getting better but if not do go back and get seen. ooh blow up pinky ponk - ace!

Lizz - how goes it - hope little one is holding and you as well. What is the spot count up to now? I always find ds is worst early evening/bed time I think it is because they are tired. Have you tried paraccetamol as well as the piriton. Also lots of cream and don't have the heating on too high. Is he scratching lots? You could resort back to babygrow at night if you had one that would fit but may drive him mad with frustration poor little man

LTH - it was funny as I read your post ds wafted past me as well blaargh. With dh not 100% I get to deal with all the poopiness.

susie - hope you have been able to get some rest with your mum around, how is your back? How are you getting on with dh, i hope his socks are pulled right up.

well failed dismally to see anyone yesterday as ds did the most amazing puke on sunday I think I have ever seen, only the one but sadly he was in bed with me, chicken casserole everywhere. Dh then promptly puked so sat there dripping think which one to clean first. My poor men, well sick all cleaned up but did not want to infect anyone the next day so we sulked at home (sorry again wilks). I did manage to slip into work and get the keys which opens the back entrance - my receptionists had banned me from having any as I have a bad habit of going in at stupid O'clock and not leaving till late so without keys I have to stick to normal times ie 8-6.30. But really need to get ontop of work so swung in under the radar. I have promised that I will keep the hours to a minimum . Right best get on, trying to seel dad's old car on autotrader so have to get it spruced up and somehow fool people into thinking it is not a Rover 45 but say a golf GTI with a liberal dash of polish and some cuddly dice executive car accessories.

By the UD have seen you on other threads - how are you??

And how is Mrs C?

loosh.

Loosh - poor you and all that casserole puke. Hope your men are fully recovered now...it wasn't your cooking was it?! - there are lots of d&v bugs going round here at the moment.

DJ is still mr spoty extreme, I had him out in the garden for ages today with no nappy trying to air his little bum out a bit. He's sparked out early again, after giving him piriton, but he's really hot (no heating or sleep suit on) will wait a bit and then give some nurofen. I'm not sure how close you can give the doses though. He still has spots yet to surface. There are 3 round his eye which have joined up to form a mega one.
I had to pop into town today to get a few bits and I may as well have been ringing a leper bell as I walked through boots! Everyone was balking in horror.
Took a photo of his back at bathtime and will post it up in a bit.
I can't believe that each of these red spots has yet to blister and scab. Surely some of them just disappear?

Lizz - sympathies on the CP Hope he has a more settled night tonight.
Loosh - oh poor you (oh, yeah, poor men too and all that!). Lots of D&V up hereabouts too. Hope you don't come down with it. Sorry, but completely PMSL at your clock story However: stern moment - don't let being behind at work stress you out and don't you dare make sneaking in a habit y'hear??
eandh - hope the night terrors continue to improve. You're not alone loving the hour change - ds2 been up after 6am last 3 mornings in a row yay! (Shame he was up most of last night, grr, ended up co-sleeping at 2 after he'd kept me awake since 11pm)
Susie - hope you feel better soon
RGee - sorry, no no tips (maybe if you wanted tips on the next Kelso races, though!)
Shimmer - how are you feeling today?

Starting to feel a little sore in my muscles now. Finished sledgehammering the concrete up yesterday, barrowed it to the skip today and barrowed in some of the tonne of top soil we got delivered. Want it all down so we can get the grass going. And on Saturday if the weather's ok we're going to put up the new garden shed. (And hopefully it won't blow away this time!)

oh - what a coincidence you are talking about this...have a daft question to ask.
Do you re-heat the bottle of formula (if your LO doesnt drink much of it) and give it to them later - or do you chuck it?
I can't decide which to do.

Have tried to post up a photo of DJ's spotty back but can't, which is probably good as its a nasty photo, but I wanted your opinions on wether it was normal cp or not.

God- I am sounding sooooooooo PFB this evening!

DP brought home huge bag of M&Ms and huge bar of caramel dairy milk...to aid me through the sleepless nights!

ps. Did you all hear about Wilkie hob nobbing with the famous people in her area?!...well, one anyway! I was impressed!

Susie - sorry to hear that you've been poorly, as if you don't have enough to contend with with your back. Anyway...were things with your dh ok or not? Hope you don;t mindme asking but have been thinking about you, and how was the all night thing you were doing in Manchester? Prob seems ages ago now but I'm sure thats what you were off to do just before you last posted.

Shimmer - hope you are feeling better? Did you go to work? GRRR at the doctors - what meanies.

Lizz- I would be peeved at missing out on choc wedding cake too. Poor DJ it sounds like he is a spotty little thing at the moment.

Wilkie - yous ound like you need it.

LAL - we have thought of a few names but they are secret! I might change my mind between now and birth anyway.

I have to buy some new maternity trousers cos the ones I have are too small, so tight on my bump I am just uncomfortable.

Rgee - I was away with work overnight last night so just got home. Feet up now, about to have a foot massage from DH....bliss...
