Morning.

Everyone ok?

Good night here thankfully, and K seems a bit better. Saying that she seemed ok most of yesterday until about 3.00. Ho hum. Dh about to head off and our toaster has just died!!

Back later.

liath · 16/03/2008 08:22

Glad you had better nights SPB & SOL.

Off to my parents for sunday lunch so DH has some peace and quiet to sleep after his night shift. Roast lamb......yum!

StealthPolarBear · 16/03/2008 08:28

SOL that your dh is going. what have you got planned for the next few days?
glad K seems better - hpe she stays that way!

Liath, enjoy your lamb

My parents and my aunt and uncle are coming here for lunch. The plan is for Mum and Dad to take K back with them and have her overnight and tomorrow, so I can go to work (dh normally has her on a Monday). Now not sure.

StealthPolarBear · 16/03/2008 10:18

sounds like you will be worried SOL even if she seems fine. How far away are they? Would you be able to leave work if you needed to or will you be too busy?

morning afternoon

J up 4.30-5.30am, then E up at 6am so I am knackered again

liath - enjoy your lunch
sol - difficult one - hows K this morning?
hi octo
katy - glad your night was an improvement

oooggs · 16/03/2008 13:56

blimey didn't expect to see I has posted last

right picture this: dts in highchairs at the dining room table eating raisins. I pop into next room and when I get back in dd has climbed out of highchair onto table and is eating ds2's raisins as she has finished her own highchairs have now been adjusted.

Then she pulled out the drawer (which is empty) at bottom of tv cabinet and proceeds to climb in and sit there

Then she empties all of the books off the bottom of the bookcase and climbs in there

She can't walk but she is more trouble

penpotEca · 16/03/2008 14:57

hullo

spb - thankfully we had a good night here. It's wierd when you feel vaguely human after some sleep again!

sol - my dh is off for a night tomorrow. I have 4 flippin meetings arranged coz my sis said she was coming and could watch T, but now she isn't! Ahhh So I'll be having a fun day!

oooggs - crappy night. But lol at climbing out of highchair for raisins! Brilliant

right off to do some work while the boy sleeps. He had his 2yr old cousin round yesterday and spent the day chasing him round worshipping the ground he walked on, but is tired today!

Eddas · 16/03/2008 17:48

hi everyone

oooggs · 16/03/2008 19:27

blimey how quiet???

oooggs · 16/03/2008 19:34

we find out results of school tomorrow [yikes]

elkiedee · 16/03/2008 19:36

Hi everyone, or anyone?

We went out this morning to meet another nearby mum who works full time during the week, and her son. I was impressed she braved the rain but the weather was much too grotty for the park, we went to the nicest of the local cafes, and one of the nearest to be open on a Sunday. Then we ended up back there with my dad later as we had to get something from the supermarket which wasn't delivered this week. And there goes another weekend.

Never mind, I'm only working 3 days this week and 4 next week - I get an Easter privilege day so am taking it two days early - Tuesday - so Danny can "graduate" from the Baby and Me group.

elkiedee · 16/03/2008 19:37

good luck oooggs

Sexonlegs · 16/03/2008 19:49

Blimey, where is everyone??

Oooggs, wow dd sounds v active!
Good luck with the school decision tomorrow - it is a nerve wracking time.

Elkie, ikwym re the weekend flying by. Enjoy your shorter week.

Hi Eddas, SPB ad all you other lovely mummies.

Had a lovely day here with my parents and auntie and uncle who I hadn't seen for nearly 2 years! B was a pita, but she was showing off. K was ok, but so pale and snotty. She slept for nearly 3 hours this afternoon which was good as she perked up a bit after that. And, no temperature today thankfully. And, she has gone off for the night with mum and dad. Mum is incredible with the grandchildren (she has 6) and was more than happy to take K, even though she was below par. It is so strange without her here and I feel quite tearful But, I amquite looking forward to a night that hopefully will be undisturbed!

oooggs · 16/03/2008 20:10

hi sol - wow a baby free night

yes dd is the climber and ds2 is walking totally now and when he does fall over he just gets back up again from where he tumbled. DS1 had to crawl to something to pull himself back up.

hi elkie - wow a baby graduation

Sexonlegs · 16/03/2008 20:14

I am lucky indeed, although I feel so stupidly sad without her being here. I totally adore her with all my heart.

oooggs · 16/03/2008 20:17

I can't wait for dts to start nursery so I can have some free time, but I don't want to leave them - how sad/mad am I?

Don't answer that one

Sexonlegs · 16/03/2008 20:22

Oooggs, as a mum already, you know the answer to that

I am the same, as I am sure most are. God, it is hard being a parent!!

oooggs · 16/03/2008 20:26

sol - when K was in the trailer, did she wear a helmet?

Sexonlegs · 16/03/2008 20:28

No . We really only cycled on tracks though and not on the road, but now you mention it I feel v bad.

oooggs · 16/03/2008 20:39

it wasn't a criticism [sorry] we are just looking into trailers and dd doesn't have a helmet, so just wondered. DS1 was only 8 mths and in a car seat when we last used one and he didn't have a helmet on.

Since then we have used the bike seat, but that way we can't transport 3 children. DS1 has a tag bike then we could put dts in a trailer.

NorthernLurker · 16/03/2008 20:42

hello all

very straightforward sort of day here - church, lunch, dozed off on sofa

Hope you have a lovely night SOL - you deserve the rest!

Oooggs - good luck with schools!

Elkie - baby graduation sounds so cute!

cazboldy · 16/03/2008 20:48

Just nipping in to say "hello" Thought there would be loads to catch up on, but there isn't that much , and I don't really have anything to add, except that I think ds2 has tonsillitis

Had a busy few days. Went and looked at a nursery for Charlie yesterday, and really liked it

Hope you are all well x

NorthernLurker · 16/03/2008 20:51

Hi Caz - good to 'see' you

oooggs · 16/03/2008 20:52

hi caz & NL - I'm off to bed now - nothing you said honest - I am shattered and dh is at work

catch you lot tomorrow x
