Hi Ria and Tallulahbelle!
How did you used to spend your Friday nights Foxy? Where you out all the time?
I've got twatty Sacha Baron Cohen on in the background.

Riallymusttryharder · 07/03/2008 21:51

I was very tempted foxy, I need a move away from fleece for the spring (except when being a mad rambler), but I didn't know how flattering it would be, and it was purple. I refuse to buy new clothes until I can buy a smaller size (but La Redoute keep sending me such good offers

TALLULAHBELLE · 07/03/2008 21:52

Am settled back in but DH a misery! Planning a trip back to Oz and of Jun & will leave him there!

TALLULAHBELLE · 07/03/2008 21:53

Purple my fave colour Ria - but maybe not on a coat, depends what shade I suppose.

Riallymusttryharder · 07/03/2008 21:53

I think I did know that foxy

lackaDAISYcal · 07/03/2008 21:54

that's what I said Ria, and look what happened

tallulah, are you planning to move to Oz on a permanent basis?

I love purple too....have lots of purple things, and even a purple coat!

I can't get la redoute to work. I ordered before and when I try to log in they say they have no record of my customer number.

Dh wants to but I am buying time here. Need my mum too much! Think we will end up there eventually - guess better standard of living/ opportunities for DD etc.

Izzybel · 07/03/2008 21:55

I like those military style coats. I can't wait till it's warmer so I don't have to wear a coat. I found that mine has two rips in it. Both on the inside and nothing major so I'm still wearing it, as I refuse to buy a new one in March. I bet I sund like such a tramp, lol!

Riallymusttryharder · 07/03/2008 21:56

it's my favourite too T, but none of my clothes co-ordinate and I look like a fright most of the time, I was trying to create a small "capsule" section to the jumble sale that is my wardrobe.
Might check to see if they still have it next time I'm in town.

Izzybel · 07/03/2008 21:56

Sound like such a tramp, not sund!

SisterSputnik · 07/03/2008 21:57

Good news about your Mum Izzy, hope she comes out ok on the rest of the tests too.

Daisy, coconut milk is very high in calories, yummy and baby friendly (not as substitute for milk, but if you want to add to other stuff to pack in some extra calories).

Izzybel · 07/03/2008 21:57

Where was it from Ria?

foxythesnowman · 07/03/2008 21:57

How about making a batch of some sort of lentil stew-thingy to shovel in whilst she is picking stuff up?

I boiled up some red lentils, roasted some sweet potato and mixed together with some milk. LO loved it, and could knaw on fistfuls of sweet potato whilst I filled her up.

Personally I'm not convinced by BLW, and I'm not sure that milk is sufficient for the first year. I think they need it all, they love to feed themselves, but aren't competent enough, and milk is important, but they need more besides. IMHO.

Ohh, Friday nights would start at 5pm and would end sometime on Saturday... but that was a looooong time ago

TALLULAHBELLE · 07/03/2008 21:57

Hi Izzy - have I 'met' you before? Not sure if newbie or name-change.

Izzybel · 07/03/2008 21:58

Hiya Sputnik

Izzybel · 07/03/2008 21:59

I'm new! Nice to 'meet' you!

TALLULAHBELLE · 07/03/2008 22:00

You too Izzy.

Riallymusttryharder · 07/03/2008 22:02

If I get some more neutral shoes it would help.

Totally aside, do you likethese?

foxythesnowman · 07/03/2008 22:03

I'm trying to think of that online shopping store, a bit like Le Redoute - begins with V? Vauderbelt? Vauder-something? Anyone?

Izzybel · 07/03/2008 22:05

It's been a while since I went out too, foxy. Ooh, I went out in Sept for my mum's 60th. We all went on a girlie night out to Blackpool
TBH I can't be arsed. I hate it when you go to the loo and ned up standing next to a tall, tanned 16 year old when you're looking in the mirror and dirty, horrible men trying to chat you up. God, I sound old there. And boring .

SisterSputnik · 07/03/2008 22:05

I can't get along with BLW either, despite intentions. He has the odd gnaw on stuff, then bangs and wipes it on the table for a bit, then drops it. I think we would be at it all day for him to get anywhere.

Probably he'd do better at it if I gave him a while, but I don't have the patience.

Riallymusttryharder · 07/03/2008 22:05

I can't remember what make, union blues I think. Part of my great charity shop trawl. I need a change of venue though. I like Otley for charity shopping. (I need to get a life)

Can't you open a new la redoute account in DHs name daisy? I am convinced their sizing is on the small side though

Izzybel · 07/03/2008 22:05

vertbaudet!

foxythesnowman · 07/03/2008 22:06

I can't see them Ria. My PC is opening things to the left and won't let me drag it over.

I think its on its way out. OMG! WHAT AM I GOING TO DO???
