SisterSputnik · 06/03/2008 20:15

Oh that's cute Daisy.
Baby Sputnik still isn't actually mobile yet, but I got this abs/core workout DVD and I realised today he is doing some of the exercises from that. He will have a 6-pack in no time

SisterSputnik · 06/03/2008 20:17

Oh and congratulations on the dress Bumper. Do you look like Miss Moneypenny in it?
When is your birthday anyway?

milkyJammy · 06/03/2008 20:35

That dress looks good Bumper. Bet it will help you on your first day back. If you feel smart you'll act smart! When is your 1st day btw?

HellHathNoFury · 06/03/2008 20:41

Bumper you are a size 12!

andiem · 06/03/2008 21:07

bumper you can lean over people seductively in it and say not now bond especially with your bf norks which are supercharged

lackaDAISYcal · 06/03/2008 21:11

I haven't been a size 12 since before DS was born

bumper, did you see this, and anyone else BFing now or in the past

i need to shut the pooter down; it's next to the draughty french window and I'm f.f.f.f.f.freezing.

Hey everyone! Just popping in before I go to bed! Back on my course tomorrow, DD is going to her Nanna and Grandad's for the morning. Have to leave early as I have to catch 2 buses, as I don't drive I can't wait to start work so that I can learn!
Bumper, that's good news that your DH is getting his pt hours, but crappy that you won't be able to do the bfing group or counselling. Still stamping my feet for you!
DKMA, don't worry, my DD lives mostly on cow and gate jars! At first I kept asking DP if I was a bad mummy for giving her jars. His answer was "you'd be a bad mummy for feeding her that crap that you cook!" Lol. I too hate cooking and I am rubbish at it and I do get worried that I'm not giving her the right things.
Holly, I like that wall paper! It would look fab as just one feature wall, with the other walls just neutral!
Yay for all these mobile babies! Now the trouble starts
Fury, wow that your DS is standing on his own! DD loves standing, but hasn't done it on her own yet though. She will walk with you holding her hands and will try to let go, thinking that she can do it but just ends up on her bottom!
LMN Don't feel bad about your DD being in nursery! It sounds as if she's getting lots out of it. She enjoys it and she is mixing with other children. You are giving her a great start and you are not a bad mum. A bad mum wouldn't care.
Hope everyone else is ok and LOs are well.
My mum has her endoscopy tomorrow, so fingers crossed she is ok and it's nothing too serious.
Right I will shut up now, off to bed.
Byexx

SisterSputnik · 06/03/2008 21:22

daisy what size are you I have some isabella oliver clothes in the loft that I was going to freecycle would you like?

lackaDAISYcal · 06/03/2008 22:04

OOh, thanks for the offer andie , but I'm a shortarse size 16 ......think ball on legs, although I can probably get away with size 14 maternity stuff as I'm all belly and no hips.

I fear Isabelle Oliver clothes will be far too long for my teeny tiny pins though

foxythesnowman · 06/03/2008 22:07

Riallymusttryharder · 06/03/2008 22:21

good luck for you and your mum izzy.

I have NEVER been a size 12. Pah

I am about halfway through my big sis's cross stitch card, it's her initials in Rennie Mackintosh style decorated lettering. I am looking forward to seeing her tomorrow, though I still don't know what I'll wear that isn't purple, and I have no laces for my clumpy brown boots. Don't know how I'll work "lunch" into the diets, but I've been good for 1 3/4 days...

hope you and your mum have a great day fury,

night all. Rx

foxythesnowman · 06/03/2008 22:22

don't forget topshop, they do some good maternity ware online (there's a rather nice jumper in the sale actually). And H&M.

I'm guessing that after this PG you will want to burn all your mat ware - I know I did after DS2 was born.

lackaDAISYcal · 06/03/2008 22:27

I want to burn it now foxy....i was just starting to get my body back and now it's all gone hormonal again! I always forget about top shop. thankfully I'm not working so I can slob around in my maternity yoga pants for the next seven and a half months.

LOL Ria, it is sooo good to have you back

am definately off this time; I need hot chocolate and then bed!

OP posts:
foxythesnowman · 06/03/2008 22:27

I'm off to bed. DP away again tomorrow and I'm sooo tired of it now. I need a day off!

Night all xx

Riallymusttryharder · 07/03/2008 00:54

Ha finished it, now to mount it on card - is that wise at this time of night?

Obviously an "M" for Margot, my other sis being Barbara -teehee

oh joy, Ds3 needs a bottle, DS2 having almighty paddy... I(DS1 already having been down to ask daddy to turn the tv down) I love my life. There's no wonder I could give a flying ... fig about clothes when I go through this on a nightly basis.

Hope everyone has a good day tomorrow.

Riallymusttryharder · 07/03/2008 00:57

bugger my embroidery eyesight and typing in the dark.

btw, well done dkma, you have every right to be pleased with yourself if you are that good at your job. I once got a £50 xmas bonus ...

Riallymusttryharder · 07/03/2008 07:32

blimey, am I the first person about this morning?

Just had a text from my sis, she is ill so shopping trip is off. Serves me right for taking the piss and calling her Margot I suppose. And I won't have to worry about what to wear.

Will be easier to stick to the diet though...
