LL: I hid it in my message . I am glad you missed it...

My cycle is generally between 27 and 30 days. There could still be other explanations and it is certainly not the first time I have worried. (Basically, I prefer denial.)

I shouldn't have even posted about it because it seems unlikely that I will summon the courage to test anytime soon.

Have you chosen a tent? We absolutely love ours but then there are far more of us. Which tents were you envying?

laundrylover · 01/09/2008 09:16

Oooohhhh rather you than me Caddy!

We have ordered an Outwell Idaho L - soooooo lovely! Half price so only £250 which is a really good price I think.

We can pick it up this week and then will be hoping for an Indian summer so we can try it out mid Sept....

Cadmum · 01/09/2008 13:41

LL: Thanks! I would think better anybody BUT me...

I now have tent envy too! That is fabulous looking. Are you going to have another chance to camp soon?

I don't imagine that we will go again until the spring.

Friz and Uni: Hope you are well.

Astro: Where are you. Is it as fun as you were hoping?

laundrylover · 01/09/2008 17:22

Caddy, do you get Astro's emails as we had one from Calais - email me at rachel_summerscales at yahoo dot com and I can send you her email if you like.

We might get camping for a weekend in a couple of weeks....how do you like our 'dressing rooms' eh??!!

Uni/Friz here is our palace!! We haven't splurged on the kids room as it's another £50 but it is fab.

OP posts:
UniS · 01/09/2008 20:20

That tent is 25kg!!!!! OMG thas ridiculas.

There would be no room for anything else in the boot if we went car camping and I'm NOT taking something like that cycle camping.

Hi all.
www.rightmove.co.uk/viewdetails-10289715.rsp?pa_n=1&tr_t=buy

is the house we are buying. Its a bit smaller than this one we are selling. Project de-clutter continues...

laundrylover · 02/09/2008 10:01

Oh yeah it's a complete car tent! We do have an estate car though. We'll use our old tent for festivals still. It's just so cramped with all four of us, especially when it's raining. With the bikes on the rack we just manage to fit it all in the car -think girls may have to go on the roof next year though.

The house looks lovely Uni but I can't work ut which garden is yours....both of them?

Hey, the sun is out today and Tilly has just started school!!! Wahay - happy days.

OP posts:
UniS · 02/09/2008 21:23

LL- of the 3 pics that look like gardens, the top one is actully in teh middle of the village a bit of public green, the one with a bench is our back garden and the veiw is the veiw from the bck of the house. Not sure why they stuck one from teh village centre in there.
phoned preschool leader today and have boys name down for place in march! wll go and tak a look once we have moved in, but its the only preschool in walking distance.

Frizbe · 03/09/2008 20:45

Hello, no time to read, so hope your all ok {{{{Hugs}}} to you all, just wanted to say I'm still alive and hoping to get back on here soon, fingers x'd maybe tomorrow night, but am sinking under work! hurrah of sorts

Astrophe · 04/09/2008 21:06

Hellooooooooo!!!!!

We are in Switzerland now Caddy! I will email you though...we didtched our plans of staying in Germany until mid sept - is it just us or are Germans not very friendly?! Anyway, Switzerland is so totally wonderful and gorgeous...not sure we will get to you though Caddy we are at Lauterbrunnen now, but need to be in some remote farm in Eastern Czech rep for the 17th of sept as we have booked a 5 day farm stay there...and we want to see prage first. After Czech we will head back down to the riviera...but plans may change and we may pop up... to you. will keep you posted, but don't expect us.

Caddy are you preggers!??? Uni did you sell your place? News please! email me katisrael at gmail dot com

Kids are well - going to bed at 10 and getting up at 9/10am...but thats camping for you! DH and I are pretty exhausted - n time for sitting reading and chatting in the eveings as we had imagined doing, but we are all having a good time. Kids are really settling in to the 'routine' a bit and Lu especially is just learing so much and asking questions and talking CONSTANTLY. Eli is developing a arather wicked sense of humour

Lots of love, hope you are all well,

waves and bumps.
Been sorting our stuff for NCT nearly new sale tonight. having a good clear out as part of project de-clutter.
The useless estate agents who we left back in June have been useless again, VERY unhelpful with getting our Hip To our conveyancer in a usable format. GGGGRRRRR wot exactly did we pay them 400 quid for.

HI astro.
Friz- you back under a roof yet?
any one been flooded this time?
My In laws are in South Africa, so I don;t know if their house is under water again or not.

Frizbe · 07/09/2008 12:26

LL, great tent, agree total car tent though, here's our total car tent monster

www.allweathers.co.uk/outwell-hartford-xl-2008-model---in-stock-1283-p.asp

But as we often spend weeks in it, its not too bad we have a smaller one for just three people too

Will post you all a pic of dd1 in uniform, she starts tomorrow LL your dd looked lovley on your pic, was the beach photo from Wales??

Uni, am loving your new house fingers x'd everything goes smoothly for you.

(sorry about the Xmas reference that's retail for you!)

Caddy what are you like!!! 5 is surely no different to four anyway I reckon go on test woman!!

Astro, great to hear from you, will mail you with our news on your gmail then sometime tomorrow so you can have a pic of dd1 in Uniform too

We'll a friend of ours has just got his visa for NZ, so looks like we'll be holidaying that way on sooner rather than later! Funny discussion with ss yesterday too, looks like his mum and stepdad are waiting for him to get to 18 so they can move to NZ too funny that dh and I had said the same thing to each other maybe we should all talk eh!

Anyone been to Italy in Spring break time? recommend a good place to go? I've decided we should give it a go next year, having never been

Frizbe · 08/09/2008 22:56

I didn't cry in the playground, hurrah and nor did dd1, phew! she loved her 1st day, lets hope tomorrow goes as well Will get a photo posted on here in a day or so when I get my ass into gear! (in fact knowing how many probs I've had doing that in the past I'll just email it to you all)

Had lovely tea at Frankie and Bennys last night with ss and the girls, seeing as we had to drop him for the 1st time on a Sunday we treated him to nice tea dd2 loved it, was bopping to the music and kept running to the toilets, to hear the Italian lessons they put on in there

laundrylover · 09/09/2008 09:20

Love the photo Friz - let's see if she's as enthusiastic as Tilly come next week..."I hate school"!!!!.

Your tent is pretty much like ours but think the Idaho is the latest model and we only need the 2 bedrooms. Of course, you don't have dressing rooms ....actually this just means that the bedrooms don't open out into the living space so they are rather a good idea. I don't think we'll ever use the hanging rails. We haven't got it from the shop yet - DP reckons they can't find us one but they say they can....we'll see.

Well, it's peeing it down again. Want to move to Africa tomorrow - had enough of this rain and cold. Just waiting for a bedraggled DP to arrive back from dropping the girls off - it's hard sticking to the no car rule in this weather but he did it.

Caddy - any news???????????

Astro - it was the garden festival at Chaumont Sur Loire that I recommended but think it'll finish in October....still a good place to visit though.

Uni - hope the HIPP is progressing and that the house survived the floods....

OP posts:
Cadmum · 09/09/2008 14:47

Ummm... No news because I don't even know where to buy a test! ARGH...

I fluctuate between thinking that I just must be pg. and that I simply cannot be pg.

Still no sign of my period but if I am really 7 weeks gone then I should be feeling far more tired and sick, shouldn't I?

Pros: Vivid dreams, no sign of period, tired by mid-day.

Cons: Not feeling ill, only mild breast tenderness.

If I had a stick, I would wee on it. Even I am now dying of curiosity.

Could it be early menopause? The beginning of insanity? Way too much stress?

I now have serious tent envy. I have the most kids and our tent is not so palatial...

We have a big people mover so there ought to be room for a bigger one. Hmmm. I am off to look at catalogues.

Cadmum · 09/09/2008 14:49

Frizbe: Thanks for the photo of DD1. She is so sweet and looks so proud. i am glad that it all went well for both of you!

laundrylover · 09/09/2008 16:05

Caddy, don't do this to us!!!! Get a test off ebay woman....surely the chemists sell them though?

Ooooh on the plus side you could buy an even bigger tent though.

OP posts:
Frizbe · 09/09/2008 23:06

Get a test, get a test Caddy

Oooh you have hanging poles how swah!Shame its been so wet this year, as we've not used it as much, dh had it all to himself the other week for 11 days, as he'd taken the big tent in the hope we'd join him, but of course it rained and rained....

He's away again this weekend, fingers x'd its ok for him eh!

Cadmum · 10/09/2008 07:19

LL: I don't even know how to Ebay... Not sure that it is practical in the land of Swiss taxes and duties.

I agree that they must be sold at the chemists but they are not on the shelves in any obvious place and I always have little people with me so I cannot ask.

I should have bought some at a Dollar Store in Canada but I wasn't actually planning on needing one ever again.

Tomorrow is a holiday in Geneva but everything will still be open in France so since DH will be with me, I will try and sneak into the Chemists.

I am still not sure what I will do with the results. Worry in either case I suppose.

The tent envy is getting severe. Hanging poles even!!

SpandexIsMyEnemy · 10/09/2008 08:36

get a test caddy - do you want me to send you some over??? (just like old times huh! lol)

I could well be joining you - hopefully maybe! lol. beau n I are not exactly trying but not exactly being careful either so what will be n all of that jazz! then again just lately he's been doing my head in a bit wanting to know what i'm doing all the time - I know it's only showing an interest but well, I don't like having to explain every hour of my day. well he's not like that but it feels like it to me)

anyhow just getting this back on my list again, hope you girls are all ok. off to see the lone parent advisor later on about working again - been offered a job as long as it works finacially then i'll go for it - is 20 hours p.w at £9 p.h so lets hope it does work!

best go boy;s making a race track out of my loo roll and I only have the one roll left till later!

Cadmum · 10/09/2008 14:18

Hey beautiful...

Don't fall pg until you are sure that your new beau is a suitable daddy and life partner, OK? (Listen to me and all of my silly advice!)

I may need to get your help with a freaking test if I cannot find one tomorrow.

I can't help but think that even if it were positive that something must be wrong since I don't feel sick.

One step at a time though. Tomorrow I will find a test and then I will summon the courage to use it.

Until then, I will pretend that I cannot possibly be pg. whilst continuing to take folic acid and baby aspirin just for fun.

SpandexIsMyEnemy · 10/09/2008 19:53

lol. I won't don't worry - am going back on the pill at the end of the month (well next fri hopefully) poor DS is having to put up with a short tempered banshee right now and it's not fair for my PMT on him.

beau is fantastic between us we just have a few issues - i've had controlling/possessive ex's and he's had cheating ones so we're both afraid! lol - bash the heads together I say!

you have my email if you want some tests drop me a line - if not - good luck hope it's the way you want!

Astrophe · 10/09/2008 21:08

CADDY!!! If you don't buy a test and put us all out of our misery I will be forced to make a massive detour, bang on your door and lock you in the bathroom until you emerge with a peed upon stick.

I am feeling quite sad now that I don't think we will get to you We are in Innsbruck (lovely), heading for Cesky Krimlov tomorrow, then back along the riviera to Spain. Want to meet us somewhere? Take care you lot

Astro: Um yeah!! I would love to meet up with you. Spain sounds fabulous and so does the riviera...

Let me know where/when. Week end would be best as DH could come along and spare me the driving alone.

LL Friz SIME astro I am a failure... I have let you all down. We were in France but there were no tests to be seen on the shelves and the queue was 10 deep to ask the Chemist. Basically, I lost the bottle.

I will get one tomorrow at the local Chemist, honest. Still no sign of my period but I don't feel ill enough to be pg.

UniS · 11/09/2008 23:12

Ho hum caddy- what will be will be, eh.

Hi all- waves
Baby ballet again today- rather more kids this week including one little madam in pink leotard and frills who took one look at boy in shorts and T shirt, stripy socks and pink ballet shoes ( borrowed), and declared " boys can't do ballet" . "Oh yes they do" chourused the mums... He had a good time, joined in with most of the class ( as much as any of them did) proved he CAN walk on tiptoe, showed off his tummy and even managed to stand with feet together in a 1st positionish kind of way. FLUKE.
