Have I mentioned it's my birthday tomorrow?? (Thanks for the heads up on that Lizz). Off out in the evening for beers and a curry with DH and a few mates. Pip is staying chez grandparents. Will not mention however how old I will be, but suffice to say the 40's will be closer than the 20's

EAH - dunno about RSI but I know that I (and I think Lizz) have had joint probs since having LOs. Mine was my wrist up until about 2 months ago, my knee and my ankle. Really ache and sometimes very painful. Cod Liver Oil and Glucosamine supposed to be excellent, plus I wear a Trion Z bracelet www.trionz.co.uk/ which not only helps with joint pain but is fantastic for fatigue too - makes me feel all buzzy which is great after months of ADs knackering me out

I think it has something to do with work, as for 10 years I have been counting banknotes almost continously for 7 hours a day I mainly use my thumb and forefinger if counting large bundles and if I move them in the same action as counting notes it hurts

Had a manic day yesterday - Ellen woke at 4.30 (think cos it was we'd left heating on overnigth so her room was boiling)she wouldn;t settle so she and I got up. She napped before going to nursery but I didn't...then had to fit in taking car to get brakes and tyres checked at kwikfit before mot/servicenext week, then friends called round with stuff for E's birthday, DH home, tea, sainsburys to shop for next week so I got home at 9.10 shattered. Decided better to go to bed than drive to mums tired so plan was to go at 7am but E woke at 2.30 and I AM WIDE AWAKE AGAIN. AAAAGGGGHHHHHHHH I wish I didn;t get so awake so quickly. If I'd gone to mums lastnight I could have been doing useful things there....instead I am surfing aimlessly online.

LTH/Lizz - I would love to live by the sea one day. Lizz hope you enjoyed your fish and chips

UD - Welcome back !!! Zac sounds more advneturous than Ellen. She is inquisitive but not climbing on/out of stuff, more looking than doing iykwim. Hope you get sorted in new house soon. i must check out how easily we can move our broadband actually......

I had to walk away as I couldnt serve her she was sooooo annoying, so she complained I hadnt helped her....she couldnt make her mind up!!! How was I supposed to help her. I'm sorry you're feeling low, but with that little sleep, I'd find it hard to function at all, let alone look after 3 kids. I guess lo has to learn to self-settle, easier said than done!!

Well we had a lovely holiday. ds1 was surprisingly good with his sleeping (except on the first night when he fell out of bed twice until we put the mattress on the floor), ds2 was rubbish though! Was just nice to get time off. Back to reality on monday though .

I am 'home alone' dh picked me up from work at 1pm, dropped him to footie and went ot my parents, I was saying I had cleaning to do and ironing pile so Mum aid to come home and they'd keep the girls there for a bit, they are coming home at 4.30 for tea (Mum did offer to do tea and baths but Ellie wanted to come home as I had bought her favourite sausages )

Have cleaned the whole house, done half the ironing and washed all the floors downstairs (which is why i am on here as I cant move till they are dry

hey all

Hope all the b-days are still going well. We had another party, well the only one really, today. Isobels little face lit up when we brought her out of her room and she saw pink ballons every where and 2 banners up!

We eventually had a lovely buffet kind of lunch, which evolved as i went along, kept finding nice things in the freezer we'd forgotten about so we all ate really well. Then we did the cake! She was SO stunned. I put it infront of her as we all sang and she just stared at each of us one by one, grinning from ear to ear! then the hand was plunged into the middle of her cake Such a lovely day, and guess what......... DH came home! he was only able to be here for a few short hours, but, such an effort from him, and it meant so much. he left in tears, bless him, he just didnt want to leave. We are going to go up to sunderland this week, fingers crossed to stay with him for some family time. Hate seeing him crying. very very rare. too.

Hope you are all well, and no-one has the tummy bugs going round. mum and a couple of friends have had a weird one, with terrible terrible cramps in the stomach and no runs or nausea, just horrific pain, then it goes... hope none of you are getting it.
