Bloody boots site; can only get first page of sale, then it hangs

Flame, you are very wise for a young girl

FlamesparodyOfAChristmasName · 27/12/2007 20:14

Tis the wine that does it

(not breaks the site, the wisdom)

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 27/12/2007 20:30

Well, it'd the the Baileys in our house if it was alcohol affecting the site! Courtesty of the csws family!

Actually csws... how was the night in the bed? Did you find Thomas (not in bed, obv)? And can you keep my little tub for me that I brought my skanky gravy in? It has sentimental value!!

Going to nat hist mus again tomorrow.

CantSleighWontSleigh · 27/12/2007 20:47

Night in the bed was fine. I came down tonight and she got up and started screaming at the gate. Dh went up 20 mins ago to sort her out, has been quiet ever since, but he hasn't come back, so no idea what's going on! We are trying her with duvet tonight too, instead of grobag.

Found the finger puppet yesterday (under the kitchen table with iggle piggle), and Thomas tonight (under the log basket thing by the fire). Haven't seen the gravy thing, but sure it will have been put away somewhere.

Boots was working ok for me, except that on one page, every time I hit 'back', it added another easel to my basket . I ended up with 7 of them!

mrm I think you need to have a proper talk with dl. Is he still down here, whereby you can meet up for a drink somewhere?

Friz - race to the mall is half price at Boots!

Did you go out in the end flame?

We went to MK shopping. Got more clothes for dd from Gap and Pumpkin Patch, but was guessing her height, and think I might have bought rather big, as I got the size that's for up to 100cm, and measured her this evening to find that she's only 84/85 (bang on 50th centile it appears)!

FlamesparodyOfAChristmasName · 27/12/2007 20:49

I did. Have probably made all them ill too

I'm crap.

Does the desire to chop off Iggle Piggle's head wear off after a while?

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 27/12/2007 20:55

Ds2 loved cswsdd's iggle piggle He got a talknig rupert from my Mum, but he's hardy seen it, as ds1 nabbed it as soon sa it was unwrapped

Hurray for the findings! Gravy pot id a yellow weanning tub thing.

Ds1 is still pining for her!

Well, dl is at home (real home). Think he's off work all xmas period, so I guess he's with his daughter mainly. I'm not just being stubborn; there's a principle at stake here.

Got a bit further with boots befoer it refused to work again! I think all the things from there noe are wants rather than needs, but thanksfor the offer! I do appreciate it.

FlamesparodyOfAChristmasName · 27/12/2007 22:36

DD is now going to be sleeping with me on sofa bed.

I have had to tell her that her sleepover with Psychoboy2 will be cancelled

I am horrible.

I have passed illness to my mum who has enough on her plate with my gran and worrying about the police, without making her ill, probably my gran too who she will then have to run round caring for.

I will have probably passed it to the Psycho clan too who will make me feel horrible for having done so.

I was 95% sure that mine was paracetamol and exhaustion based, and DH was trying to get out of Christmas with mum... but I don't know how much I convinced myself that because it was christmas and we were going to Enjoy Ourselves.

People would be better off without me.

CantSleighWontSleigh · 27/12/2007 22:40

Don't be daft flame. You couldn't have known for sure, and these viruses are so common that if they didn't get it from you they'd prob get it from someone else.

Has your mum def got it then?

FlamesparodyOfAChristmasName · 27/12/2007 22:43

Yes - I called to see how her day was/whinge about mine, the normal evening chat... and she was half asleep, told me she had stomach pain and sh*ts (she tends to get that, I tend to be sick - DD is like me, DH and DS are the other).

FlamesparodyOfAChristmasName · 27/12/2007 22:45

My mum is so stressed as it is -she is waiting for the police to tell her if they are pressing charges because of some lying brat she was giving a home to, she has my gran staying which she loves, but my gran is under the impression that whilst her arms and legs work perfectly well living alone at home, with my mum she must be waited on hand and foot. Mum's elbow is playing up and she can't use her right arm properly.

She has now got this bug and is going to be even more drained

Jas · 27/12/2007 22:54

foryour mum Flame, but none of that is your fault. You didn't deliberately give her a bug. She caught it. She could just as easily have got it off the woman at the supermarket chekout.
I do hope she gets over it quickly, though.

Did any of you notice haw deformed my back is when we met? Honestly, please. DP mentioned that he thinks it is getting worse. It is the first time he has ever said anything about it at all, so he has me worried.
We are going to visit my mum tomorrow, and she always notices it.

I have premanent back ache (no the sciatica I usually moan about, this is actually in my back)too.

Other than thatwe are ok. I'm working my way through aa bottle of Baileys this week, too

OP posts:
FlamesparodyOfAChristmasName · 27/12/2007 22:57

Didn't notice any deformities

CantSleighWontSleigh · 27/12/2007 23:04

No deformities noticed here either.

for your mum being ill, but still not your fault.

Jas · 27/12/2007 23:05

There is no doubt it is there, I'm just concerned that it is getting wose.

Most people don't notice/are too polite to mention it.

OP posts:
Jas · 27/12/2007 23:07

I'll wait and see it mum/my broher metion it. They are the two people who are most aware of it I hink, so they will probably tell me if it looks worse.
Something is definitely going on though, as it has never really hurt before. I wake up with back ache now.

OP posts:
FlamesparodyOfAChristmasName · 27/12/2007 23:08

Good idea

FlamesparodyOfAChristmasName · 27/12/2007 23:09

(Still don't believe any of you btw )

Mum thinks I probably picked it up in the hospital

Jas · 27/12/2007 23:13

So you can both blame those sick people in hospital, spreading their germs about with gay abandon

OP posts:
FlamesparodyOfAChristmasName · 27/12/2007 23:14

They just don't think do they? Taking illnesses to a hospital?? Whatever next? People will be wanting to eat in restaurants...

CantSleighWontSleigh · 27/12/2007 23:16

It's probably worse because you've spent the last 2 months being a builders lacky .

EachPeachPearMum · 27/12/2007 23:32

Oh Jas- please get your back looked at! ime Its not until the pain/problem is dealt with that you realise how bad it was!

Flame- for mega-spreading bug

Phoenix · 27/12/2007 23:45

Thank you for all the birthday wishes Had an ok day but it was mega spoilt by having to go to bloody work. I got a wii game from dh and ds (that i bought and wrapped myself i might add ) pj's, slippers and a necklace from my parents, perfume from my 2 brothers (that my mum probably bought and wrapped) and £35 cash . Not that i've unwrapped any of my own pressies Lewis has opened them all lol.

We bought ourselves a TomTom one sat nav today with both our christmas money and my birthday money.

for your mum been ill Flame and for your back Jas.

Ds has had a talking Iggle Piggle for ages and got another singing/dancing one off MIL for christmas we just try to ignore the noise

I've forgot what else i was gonna say.

Jas · 28/12/2007 07:21

I will probably go o he ds next year re my back, but I kow from past experience they look a i, do tessand come to he basic conclusion that I just have to get used to it! It is 25 years sice it was operated on, so it hasn't been too bad. I maight seee if I can find other people who had it done tha long ago, and see how they get on now.

OP posts:
mustrunmorewantsanewname · 28/12/2007 08:37

So. When you scan read a thread in reverse order, you assume that someone in house of flame has bee ndeformed by recent illness Then you read properly!

I dont think anything's changed since we first met Jas. But then, I dont see you naked on a regular basis

Flame, stop being so hard on yourself. Shit happens (er, quite literally!), and its not your fault. Please use your common sense and good logic on yourself for a change.

Phoenix, I can think of nothing worse than two noisy iggle piggles! So, you didnt get any really crappy presents at all? I've asked dh for the coffin shaped Jack Skellington purse this year. He's less than impressed as he'll have to go into the west end after work to get it! But its £8, so at least it wont break the bank for him to get it. And I already havethe necklace that he got me from the school xmas fayre!

Ds1 wants to cut out the csws xmas card and stick it on his bedroom wall

CantSleighWontSleigh · 28/12/2007 08:52

lol lol lol
