Rainy park sounds good

I left DD at home for shopping, and got bargains whilst I was there

He turned the tv on n off one too many times Lookin on freecycle now

It was a cheap beko one about 6 years ago anyway, so tis not overly surprising it died.

Frizbe · 19/01/2008 19:15

On the other hand it wouldn't have worked after the digi switch over anyway flame blessing in disguise?

FlameNFurter · 19/01/2008 19:17

Would it not? It runs virgin digital at the moment... would it have all gone poof?

Frizbe · 19/01/2008 22:24

Oh and there I was trying to make you feel better I didn't realise you have a digi box, which of course any tv will run through. The switch thing they're on about is for the few people without digi boxes/satalite I.E our portable upstairs won't work after the switch, as it only recieves analog signals, unless of course we get it a seperate digi box.....

Teuch · 19/01/2008 23:42

Flame at early emergence of rock-n-roll tv-wrecking tendencies...not really the kind of payout you need in January!!

FlameNFurter · 20/01/2008 00:55

I thought I was just very confused about the switch over thing.

Oh well... I am out at mum's all day tomorrow doin the books

Teuch · 20/01/2008 10:11

Morning all! Hope you are having nice relaxing Sundays !!

DS now on 2nd course of antibiotics for ear infection and, fingers crossed, they seem to be working... The last dose seemed to keep it under control but not wipe it out. The night after he finished he woke up shouting "my eyes are boring"! ...took me a minute or two to work that out!!

at rainy park play...C gets pt out in all sorts of weather! (Gawd, that sounds like abuse!) No such thing as bad weather, I sa, just bad clothing!!

Frizbe · 20/01/2008 10:30

Teuch I think I agree with the bad clothing thing which reminds me, someone txt'd me to say there are Dora wellies in Shoe Zone cheap shops, if anyone needs Dora Wellies (I think we may do!)

So the girls are currently both jumping about on our bed, despite being told not too, to dd1's Barbie guitar which is currently playing Christina Ag......

Flame, have a nice day doing your books Our's are getting horrible again, what with all the shop and internet transactions.....one day we'll be big enough to get someone else to do them

So off to the garden centre here (its a big one with more shopping than gardening!) picking up Great Gran on the way and meeting my parents here. Dh and ss are enjoying paint club in the shop.

Frizbe · 20/01/2008 10:30

PS: teuch sorry I'm crap at replying to posts, lol at ds and his pouring eyes hope this lot of drugs do the trick for him.

DontDreamItBeIt · 20/01/2008 11:24

Morning, ad hello teuch

I'm not keeping up with the thread, sorry, and am getting very bored of painting ceilings.
Nothing exciting happening here, but don't want to lose the thread completely.

mustrunmore · 20/01/2008 11:31

hello

I've been coughing onstantly all night . Made the mistake of realy wanting oj this morn... ouch! Going to nort run till later, I cant face it till I 'v had a few dozen lemsips

You think painting ceilings is bornig? You should spend a weekend with us, then it'd look far more exciting! All we've dobe is traipse round places in therain. And round a slug at least 4inches long on our kitchen wall last night Doing some gap-filling later I think!

mustrunmore · 20/01/2008 11:48

Jas, get dp to make this for dd how cool is that?!

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/01/2008 13:59

Oh wow - I love that mrm!

Just a quick post, but didn't want anyone thinking I was awol! Having a busy weekend, and was out in London for friend's birthday last night. Think the inlaws found it quite hard work having dd from 5pm and putting her to bed. Suffice it to say that she had a later night than normal, despite no nap, so is very tired and a little grumpy today. She's largely spent the morning watching TV, and is now going to have a bath with me before we go on a nice bracing walk, where we suspect she may manage a brief nap in the pushchair.

Will read properly and reply to rest later, but hope everyone is having a good weekend.

FlameNFurter · 20/01/2008 14:10

Oh wow - that's great! We need steps like that to get DS down from the bloody top bunk

Ordered a new tv The very nice people at tesco credit card are making our viewing possible again.

Enjoy your "bracing walk" CSWS

And your run after many lempsips MRM

My norks hurt.

DontDreamItBeIt · 20/01/2008 14:28

That is stunning mrm

DD won't be getting one hough

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/01/2008 16:14

What you doing tomorrow mrm? Wondering whether to come and visit after tumbletots, as Mondays are the only day we can really get to you in time to see ds1 too. Can drive him to nursery and chill in C&T again if you like?

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/01/2008 16:27

"By Frizbe on Sat 19-Jan-08 09:08:41
grin Flame, I swear I did do the space then ]] bah!" - Friz that's the problem - you're supposed to do the space, the text you want for the link, and then the ]], so you are doing the ]] too early.

Happy belated birthday to Cameron .

Phoenix · 20/01/2008 18:28

Hello

Yay for new tv Flame , but for it getting broke in the first place.

That bed looks fab

So we've been out looking at trikes all day and decided we're not gonna get one now . We're gonna go for a bike (12") with stabilisers, something like this but toys r us have better looking ones instore (not online for some reason). I'd forgot that he's got a trike at my mums that my auntie gave her for him, so its no point having 2. So now all we need to do is decide which one we like .

Hope everyone's having a good weekend

mustrunmore · 20/01/2008 18:38

No plans for tomorrow except aerobics at 5.50pm csws! Would be lovely to see you. Except I should warn you that I have a terrible cough, so its up to you whether to decide to expose yourself to me C&T is getting pretty busy now; bah humbug, people following me round and stealing my secret places!

The boys were soo cute today, with ds1 pillioning ds2 on the electric bike thingy.

Frizbe · 20/01/2008 19:49

I'll keep practising CSWS

yay for new tv Flame, is it nice and flat screen hdv ready etc? is it as big as CSWS's

MRM that's a fab bed even dh likes it, though not the price

Jas, well you're making progress hon and will be living in a lovely home soon once its all done

Phoenix, a bike is good though eh be great round the park/country parks etc in the summer

Managed to get a bday prezzie today for dd1's mate whose party we have next sat, she's getting 3 x gardening tools in kid size and a make your own fairy garden kit oh and a sheep with magnetic paws dd1's choices!

EachPeachPearMum · 20/01/2008 21:08

Friz - for the wool shop! (though I suppose I don't actually covet lurid pink )

Flame - for TV, though glad you could replace so quickly. Did you see there is a mner called 'Flameboy'!!! was and squirdle was surprised when they didn't understand a comment she made...flameboy seems to be a lady though

Jas- sounds like house is going well! I find painting very therapeutic, though wouldn't want to do ceilings (I'm very short)

Phoenix for bike! Wow- so grown up!

mrm- weird- I was dreaming about 'you' last night well, not exactly sure how, but I think I was reading posts in my sleep - too much mn I fear!

csws- have I offended thee somehow?

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/01/2008 21:27

No EEPM - why?!

I think we'll chance the cough mrm, as it's prob better than a day of boredom!

Goodness knows how we'll get out of the house on time tomorrow though. We need to leave here around 9, but dd didn't go to sleep until 9 tonight (the inlaws undid a lot of my hard work by pandering to dd's screams last night), so she's quite possibly going to sleep unti gone 8 (building in some time awake during the night), and then feed for half an hour.

Am very shattered tonight (didn't get home until 1am), so will be going to bed early.

EachPeachPearMum · 20/01/2008 21:50

wow- you are soo good at guessing!

mustrunmore · 21/01/2008 09:25

EPPM, dont start argunig with csws, she can be scary
Flattered that I was in your dreams depending what the content was of course! Come on, spill the beans.

up all night coughing. And ds2 is a total snot monster.

just managed to get another bed for ds1 off freecycle(this one has a crack and cant be put into bed form properly, so now is a wobbly heigght just likew a vot with 2 sides off ) We'll have a wait a bit though. as its in Shropshire

Wil be lovely to have you here csws, although its not so nice knowing I have to at least hoover and tidy a bit this morning...

Frizbe · 21/01/2008 10:09

Ooooo have a lovely day girls

EPPM our shop is next to the wool shop, although to be fair, our town has its fair share of craft shops! there's fancy dress and general material/ribbons/repairs and dyes round the corner! then the small independant dept store also does wool too Lots of old biddies here too guess the two go together nicely! (and then us 'hip' younger knitters eh!)

Falling out with ebay here, they've swapped their invoicing thing since we last had lots on and I'm bickering with it, to get all 32 pages of invoice downloaded
