You got home about half three I think!
I hear that ds1 loves dd and already wants to know when he can see her again .

Thanks for the bed guard. She slept from 3 til 4:40 without one today, but then fell out of bed and woke herself up! She's (hopefully!) in bed now with it on, trying to go to sleep. Will have to check that she has actually ended up in bed I guess, but she's definitely going quiet, so presumably drifting off wherever she is.

You were a tad harsh on him, but he stays very calm in the face of hostility .

Our pressies were much more than acceptable mrm! I love dd's circus (did you know that a trip to the circus (esp a Russian one) is one of my absolute favourite activities?).

Happy Birthday for tomorrow Phoenix! for going back to work though.

Jas · 26/12/2007 21:31

Hope everyone had a good time. We ae jus back from MIL, and the dds are still up playing wih ew toys (opened at mlshouse but no allowed to get out of the boxes due o smaller cousins)
I've got a relaxing day off tomorrow (ie catching up on all the housework and changing the too-big clohes dpbough me) then we are off o my mums Friday and back Saturda.
We've go tickets to go and see Dick Whittington, and a night with no kids for me and dp

Hoping all illness is gone, and Phoenix ....have a lovely birthday

Phoenix- love the pics- the excitement on his face is gorgeous- and he's is looking so tall and grown-up- barely a baby!

Happy birthday for tomorrow!

Dd still hasn't opened her train set! Has been playing with other stuff, so it will get left another day. Probably won't do it tomorrow either, as we are visiting family who will have got her presents....
Need to have a massive cull of baby toys. The problem is that she remembers everything, and will ask for things if I hide them away

CantSleighWontSleigh · 26/12/2007 22:15

Oh yes, lovely pics Phoenix.
Have just added one of dd this evening, after she opened another of her presents.

EachPeachPearMum · 27/12/2007 00:30

that wand looks dangerous! Another lo looking completely grown-up. I think its when they get down to their last couple of chins rofl!

FlamesparodyOfAChristmasName · 27/12/2007 08:20

You all have completely grown up children - when did that happen?

My little munchkin gets to stay baby-like because of his size. He got some 2-3 trousers... I have decided to return them for 12-18 month so he has something to wear now. His birthday should be fun - I need to tell all family NOT to get him 2-3 to "grow into", but 18-24 month will allow more than enough growing room.

Exhausted today DH is well again and back at work. We were at Psycho's til late last night but where he was working still had to wake em at 7 to take him to work

I'll try and get some photos up later - lovely ones of DS and his new doll

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 27/12/2007 08:40

Ds1 woke up this morning and said 'I dreamed about pippa. I miss her'

Ds2 woke up (in our bed, as usual) and actually called me Mummy instead of my name!

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 27/12/2007 08:42

Oh, and lodger's pressies were really toughtful and well chosen I got the Mika dvd! We got Pirates dvd between us, dh got wine, ds1 got a junior electricians kit to be like hid Dad, and ds2 got an unbreakable wooden Bob click clack track which nhe adores.

FlamesparodyOfAChristmasName · 27/12/2007 08:56

Did he buy the pressies before or after The Big Fight? (it seemed like it needed capitals)

Meant to be going to a friend's today but DS is a big pile of snot, keeps coming to me crying about nothing and is now snuggled in a blanket with just his head and thumb hand sticking out. I think he would benefit from a day at home, but DD would benefit from going out. I dunno what to dooooooooooo

FlamesparodyOfAChristmasName · 27/12/2007 09:00

Ooh Psycho got me a Captain Jack phone charm , the chocolates I like, a necklace very similar to the one she got me for my birthday (that I only told her last night, before the unwrapping, that DS broke after me wearing it twice ), AND book tokens with a note to say that I get a coffee when we go together to spend em too Seeing as I already get to return the book that DH had bought me (poor thing tried so hard, was all chuffed that he bought one that wasn't on our shelves... it was one I had borrowed and returned ), I get to do a big book shop

Jas · 27/12/2007 09:02

Lovely pics

mrm, but for being called mummy.

Can you just go out for a couple of hours this afternoon Flame?

We will be in today, playing wih new toys.
I'm going to make he dds come to tescos with me though. I need to change my new jeans for ones that will fit.

DP managed to mix thoughtful weel chosen presents wih hideous tat in a way that meant I still appreciate it all!

I got a digital picture frame keyring from mil but can't put pics on it wih my mac, so I'm going to have to take it to my mums house and do it on hers tomorrow.

Happy Birthday Phoenix

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PHOENIX

MRM and Flame for you both being poorly on Xmas day, glad your both feeling better now.

CSWS yay for dd in bed! MRM at Mummy and for ds1 sleeping too!

Phoenix, will look at your photos in a mo or too, trying to do this inbetween kids bombing me....

EPPM did the oven work then?? must have if you were doing gingerbread eh?

Jas, glad you had fun too!

and for anyone else who didn't make it on here, hope you had a good day too

Both dd's got lots of stuff here, think the best present for dd1 has been the polly pocket race to the mall set, its had loads of use, for those who don't know, its a pink and purple car racing set, you fire the girls cars round the loop, they hitch onto a track that takes them up the hill, then they either go down the slope and back around again, or they can go down the garage bit to the mall, via the handbag pickup point both of the girls have spent agest playing with that, and also dd2's Peppa pig house.

I tidied up dd2's room yesterday, chucked out the cot (with dh's help) and booted out her baby toys too! so have a few bags to ebay when I get a sec (not sending anything else to Aunties for others to nick, its clothes only from now on)

WeFrizYouaMerryChristmas · 27/12/2007 09:51

CSWS and Phoenix great Xmas photos

FlamesparodyOfAChristmasName · 27/12/2007 10:03

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PHOENIX

I meant to put that in my first message but coco pops got poured

CantSleighWontSleigh · 27/12/2007 15:44

mrm - what did you want from the Boots sale that you didn't order? Am going to place another order and thought I'd put your bits on it too, so that neither of us have to pay postage. How much do we have to spend for it to be free? I def want something at £25.

(Will read and reply to rest later).

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 27/12/2007 17:12

Thnk you have to spend £45. Went to boots up the road today, but I might still need some bits. Whewn are you doingit? How long have I got to peruse again?!

Flame, it was before that day.

FlamesparodyOfAChristmasName · 27/12/2007 17:17

Arse. Was hoping it was a Sign Of Good Things (very into the capitalisation today )

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 27/12/2007 18:06

Judging by what dh said/he said to dh, I think he'd be happy to make up. But I cant let it go that easily. And hi sidea of making up might not be as extensive s mine; I think I'd wnt o iron out all the creases.

CantSleighWontSleigh · 27/12/2007 18:39

Ordering tonight. Will give you til 9:30!

FlamesparodyOfAChristmasName · 27/12/2007 18:52

Tis all so hard Was listening to Mika today (impressed?) and one song made me think of all this with you

Frizbe · 27/12/2007 19:21

well MRM why don't you give it a try??? nothing to loose eh?

Pissed off at dh here, he's been running the shop all day and is there till 20:00 as its our late night for the games club....am annoyed as he's a) automatically assumed I'd be happy looking after the kids, (rather than at work) b) when I mentioned we could do half and half he balked at the idea and then c) Waited till 16:00 before he decided, actually we could shift swap now just cause he's getting bored now eh.......oh and just about the time when all he'd have to do is feed and bed the kids..... As you can guess I've been at home with the little dahlings all day by myself, with no heating (did I mention it packed up again on Boxing Day, and can I get a plumber this week???) I think I've stuck, glued, painted, played everthing new and more and I'm craving some adult conversation!! gibber, I'd forgotten how much I like adult people until recently

FlamesparodyOfAChristmasName · 27/12/2007 19:45

Lol @ "all he has to do is feed, bath and bed kids"

Read my experience of that here

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 27/12/2007 20:01

I am impressed Flame Wait till you see my dvd! I prob know exactly which song you mean. Hmm.
Now its going to look like I just amde up beacause of the presents though.

Still looking at Boots. But a million things to do. And most of xmas pressies for next yr aleady got/on order TBH

FlamesparodyOfAChristmasName · 27/12/2007 20:06

No, the presents have nudged you to remember even more clearly (and painfully) what you had.

The listening to the album is making me even more with miossing it!

FlamesparodyOfAChristmasName · 27/12/2007 20:10

Now my mum has the bug and I can't phone to whinge about the crapness of my night because it is me that has made her night crap too. If my gran gets it then it will be even worse.

If the Psycho clan get it then I will be hated forever.

Arse.
