Arrgh- dd has another ear infection- she is very poorly - has been velcro baby all day with dh and keeps saying 'ears hurtin, more calpol' in a hopeful manner!

mrm- would never buy anything if my outgoings were 100 more than my incoming- that way destruction lies....

dd usually does stop what she is doing naughty on first asking... but she is a girl...
Occasionally she will try something again, but frequently she will leave it a day or to, just to test us.

WeFrizYouaMerryChristmas · 18/12/2007 09:05

EPPM {{{hugs}}}} ear infections are horrible

and {{{{Hugs}}} Kel, so very sorry to hear this hon.

whispers, is CSWS one of those scary Dr Who type monsters.....Mr CSWS you'd better watch out!

I have plague, am off to Dr's in a mo.....dh is expecting me at shop later though I've woken up with a crescent shaped rash on my side?????? am I a religious symbol? or ill????? off to find out what the hell is going on with my skin!

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 18/12/2007 09:28

Thats quite exciting Friz; If you're a religious phenomenon, you can charge people a fiver a look

I'd always say learnt. Learned just isnt right!

Thanks for all your support. I knew I was right! Relieved that ds2 isnt a freak of behaviour, and that not all of you are as decadent as dl. BTW EPPM, we dont buy much! The £100 gets covererd my my savings (nearly all gonr, hence the dithering over getting a weekend job), or by dh doing loads of overtime!

FlamesparodyOfAChristmasName · 18/12/2007 09:40

pmsl MRM -trust you to find a money earning angle to Friz n her rash!

FlamesparodyOfAChristmasName · 18/12/2007 13:26

I got Pippa in the post DS is talking to her and trying to stab her with an icicle "Bebba!"

We're not doing very well filling this thread up are we??? Where is everyone???

CantSleighWontSleigh · 18/12/2007 20:36

I'm here .
Just been doing the bedtime routine, which only seems to end these days once we've done 'more cuddle' several times, and I've sent dh in for the final cuddle.

OP posts:
FlamesparodyOfAChristmasName · 18/12/2007 20:50

I was thinking the same about filling the thread - even if this one isn't full, i say we start Jas's on Christmas Eve.

I'm in a really weird mood . I feel all restless in a with life as a whole kind of thing, rather than a just can't settle tonight kind of thing.

Urgh

Lol @ one more cuddle... B used to try that, it didn't take long before we adopted the "geddabed!" approach

PhoeNixYouAMerryChristmas · 18/12/2007 21:01

@ 1 more cuddle ds has to kiss everyone on his ITNG poster before he'll allow us to put him in his cot

PhoeNixYouAMerryChristmas · 18/12/2007 21:04

Yay National Lampoons Christmas Vacation is on now, its so funny

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 18/12/2007 21:10

I live my life in that mood Flame.

I'm kind of here but doing tons of stuff, because I fell asleep last night insstead of doing it all And still tidying after a busy weekend/early week.

Ds1 has a no nursery day tomorrow. So far sall I've come up with is tsking him to aerobics while my friend looks after ds2!

CantSleighWontSleigh · 18/12/2007 21:23

Get him to make snowflakes with his fancy scissors and decorate all of your windows with them mrm. That should keep him busy for a while.

Hurrah - rice milk custard is fine. Not as custardy as normal custard, but doesn't taste bad or anything

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 18/12/2007 22:17

We've been making spiders with them today!

Flame, I've written out your relacemnt cheque, just got to post it! Er, dh wsa fed custard by his Mum that contained hihsisters EBM

FlamesparodyOfAChristmasName · 18/12/2007 22:32

The milk his sister had expressed, or expressed by his mum for his sister ?(both equally as tbh)

EachPeachPearMum · 18/12/2007 22:46

mrm- you cursed me!!!!! tonight dd pinched me (she never did this before) and I told her not to do that, so she grinned at me, did it again, I said No more forcefully, moved her away, so she ran back, and did it again!

I then said, 'you're being naughty', so she laughed at me, and announced 'Time out!', and went and sat on the step in the bathroom ...wtf????

I think this is something they do at nursery, when they misbehave.

Wasn't suggesting you spent lavishly, just that I knew a car wasn't a necessity for you, so why would you spend money you don't have on one?

friz- maybe its a sign for this coming week? its not stigmataey is it?

dd is a bit better today- has definitely slept more peacefully this evening- I think we caught the infection earlier than the last one, DH says she's been pretty perky all day.

Must be there age the spider thing- dd has spent quite a lot of time today 'drawing' spiders. Last night, when I went into her at her 11pm scream (gah) the first thing she said to me was 'spider in my bed mama!'.... a bad dream I think- was no sign of anything multi-legged in her room, except for multiple cuddlies (groan- where do they all come from?)

Jas · 18/12/2007 23:49

Sorry EPPM but i looked like this reading your post.

I didn't know there were lots of different types of eczema Frizbe??? Have you got them all?

How recently was the ebm custard incident mrm???

I'm feeling slightly reading all about everyones talking children. For a boy wih alot to say, very little of ds' speach makes sense even to me.

He's sill not well, nor is dd1 or dp. DD2 is threatening to come down with it now too...I'll probably wai til Christmas day to be ill.

I've spent the day cleaning and shouting at dp. He locked up last night and has managed to lose the only key to the back door[grrrr]

EachPeachPearMum · 18/12/2007 23:53

if it makes you feel better- there is plenty of stuff that comes out that we have no idea about! She gets very cross with us if we ask her to repeat anything more than once though

EachPeachPearMum · 18/12/2007 23:54

one of her favourite phrases is 'Gobbu gobbar' but we dont have a clue on this one! Always said in a very happy tone of voice thouth!

Chloe55 · 19/12/2007 09:11

Maybe she is making the sounds of a Christmas turkey EPPM

PhoeNixYouAMerryChristmas · 19/12/2007 09:16

Jas - Ds still doesn't say many recognisable words. He makes everyone laugh when the Girls Aloud's song Call The Shots is on cos he sings the 'aahh aahh aahh aahh' bits everytime He also does the little jingly bit from Countdown (de de de de diddle de dum, u know what i mean) He makes loads of sounds, animal sounds, bits from songs/tv programmes, emergency service sirens, some more that i can't think of, but talking??? No nothing.

Ds didn't wake up til 8.30 this morning I'm working at 10.30 again today so i've got less than an hour to get ready think i'd better get off here and get in bath.

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 19/12/2007 09:36

The breast milk custard was ages ago, but he was an adult! It was his sisters for her youngest, left in the fridge when they visited, and his Mum 'didnt want to waste it' So she made custard for him...

Jas, as you well know, ds2 doesnt talk either! Bue we did find out he can if he needs to; he thought my Dad wasnt going to get off the tube with us, so shouted 'grandad' really clearly. Never done it since though. But he does say 'poo' and 'Brambles' now And all vehicles go nee-naw. And monkeys say ee-eee-aa-aaa.
