CSWS - That's where I am with those duvet things, they're a nice idea but expensive and people have managed for years with normal duvets and sheets that cost half the price. Either after christmas or around his birthday i'm thinking of taking the bars off his cot.

WeFrizYouaMerryChristmas · 16/12/2007 20:17

for film CSWS, glad you enjoyed it

at the tree Flame, we did ours friday too, dd2 boinged the baubles for a bit, and is now ignoring it, phew! it only contained two spiders as well, so far anyway
Shudders as carried it to and from car.

for bicker and decision on lodger MRM, maybe he needs a few days to think, blokes can be so crap at this stuff sometimes.

at keyboard Jas, have no idea.

EPPM hope your element gets to you on time

Teuch, sorry to hear boy is poorly, hope he's better soon

Phoenix, glad you had fun in York!

We ran around delivering and picking up presents today, I also managed to get another two that I'd forgotten, phew.
Dd1 and 2 went on a lovely horse (dressed up as reindeer ride) as well, both grined the whole way around it However putting dd2 to bed tonight, have discovered a RASH....on her lower back, stomach, bum and legs...... probably no nursery for her tomorrow unless its gone?

CantSleighWontSleigh · 16/12/2007 22:55

Where on earth is everyone these days?!

Spending time with DH

EachPeachPearMum · 17/12/2007 00:10

Having early nights, ready for festivities?

Jas · 17/12/2007 07:20

Working my way round the sick children. As soon as one settled last nigh, he next one coughed herself awake. No school for dd1 today, the jury is out on dd2. I'l decide when she wakes up.

DS is covering his face when he sees me with a tissue now. His nose is getting sore.

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 17/12/2007 09:19

Entertaining my friends, then my Dad who brought me literally a dozen packets of 100nappy bags!!). Got aerobics with ds1 this morn, while Dad attempts to look after ds2 Oh, and got another heartbreaking email from the man. God, its much easier when you dont like people, isnt it?

Also noticed the paper on cswsdd pressie is sideways. So I just stuck the label on sideways to match

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 17/12/2007 09:21

Another quixk poll please....

How many of your Feb kids listen when you say no? And never repeat the offence?

How many of you would get a car even though you were overdrawn by £100 a month without one anyway?

Jas · 17/12/2007 10:11

I assume this poll is relting o the man who has forgotten (if he ever really knew) what an under two year old is like...

Of course he doesn't lisen to no.
He always repeats the offence.
No I wouldn't get a car I didn' need.

FlamesparodyOfAChristmasName · 17/12/2007 13:01

for sick children

for sideways sticker. You have post coming to you MRM - there is a bag of things for YOU, but I forgot to look at the size and sort them so it may be that they are all the ones I took out NOT to give you

Poll: Never

Car - it depends if the car is NEEDED - when DH got the job working silly-away we had to get the second car so that I could get around etc... but then I haven't learnt to do children without a car iyswim. (Is it learned or learnt CSWS?)

Chloe55 · 17/12/2007 15:17

Oooh I really like the look of the cover things considering ds never has his quilt on when I check on him and his room is bloody freezing but the price is astronomical! I think I like the idea of the sewing buttons on idea......now then, do I even own a needle and thread?

MRM - ds thinks I should listen to him when he says no but never the other way round

Can't really answer the car one properly considering we have just had to fork out for a car we really can't afford too.

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 17/12/2007 17:19

Flame, that twice in 20 secs you've cheered me up!

Jas. Wanna phobe him and tell him?

FlamesparodyOfAChristmasName · 17/12/2007 18:33

My parcel incompetence makes you smile?

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 17/12/2007 18:39

No, the fact I'm getting post, you muppet.

FlamesparodyOfAChristmasName · 17/12/2007 18:43

lmao! That makes it much nicer!

WeFrizYouaMerryChristmas · 17/12/2007 20:01

ello!
MRM no to car if you can't afford one, silly exlodger, living in cloud cuckoo land that one.....and no, my child doesn't listen, merely giggles and runs away most of the time and unless its life threatening she will merely get me face to face with her telling her off, if life threatening, she goes to time out for a minute. HTH's?

Flame I'd go with learned.

dd2 has very vague rash on bum still, I have slight rash on both eyelids? and wrists?

PhoeNixYouAMerryChristmas · 17/12/2007 21:42

Hi

I was here last night but no one else was so i didn't post and went to bed about 10.30 and i've been at work since 10.30 this morning, if i see many more christmas cards i'll scream

Still at him for you MRM. Of course ds doesn't listen to no and def repeats the offence. Re a car, prob yes but that's just what we're like, hence never having money

for rash Friz, hope she or you aren't ill.

Jas - for poorly kids

Very sad news from KelBel on her Facebook page. Kel if you're reading this i'm so sorry to hear about your mum. You know where we all are if you want to chat. {{{{hugs}}}} to you and all your family.

MrCSWS · 17/12/2007 21:47

Learned and Learnt are completely equal - either is ok, it is whatever sounds better - i leave it to the boss to rule on that one!

CantSleighWontSleigh · 17/12/2007 22:12

Ello. Up at my parents now for a couple of days. Dd slept most of way up, so finally got her to bed about 9:45!

for poorly children, ignorant ex-lodgers, and kel's news (for those that don't have her on fb, her mum has died).

I use learned, but only because I'm never sure if learnt is really a proper word!

OP posts:
FlamesparodyOfAChristmasName · 17/12/2007 22:16

Kel

I am the other way, learned always seems made up (like when DD says "teached")

PhoeNixYouAMerryChristmas · 17/12/2007 22:23

I would say learnt is more a word than ello . I'm with you Flame learned doesn't sound right.

FlamesparodyOfAChristmasName · 17/12/2007 22:26

You can't criticise CSWS's writin's!!! She shoots scary lasers out her eyes n stuff!

PhoeNixYouAMerryChristmas · 17/12/2007 22:29

. I did after it

CantSleighWontSleigh · 17/12/2007 22:34
