Thanks everyone, feeling better today, red line is fading, its still abit tender and hurts with letdown but def getting better.

Sorry about yours though NL, hope dr can help

DD and DS1 have seperate christmas performances at school, just singing really with 1 or 2 children talking. Seems abit of a shame they never do a proper nativity but the hall is soooo small and there are 300 children and thats just the infants Hall is complete nightmare actually - lunchtime is ridiculous all going in in shifts and when they have school parties they can only have 100 dc in there so thats 200 missing out

Anyway each year do 1 performance a day over 3 days at different times each day so hoping to see ds1 this afternoon and thurs morning (I think ) and dd tomorrow morning and thurs afternoon. Or something like that! Have just realised though I have no idea where my camera is, wondering if ds1 has taken it off somewhere. I do know where camcorder is though so will take that today and keep searching.

Peshanearth · 11/12/2007 11:14

Oops sorry bit slow - hope it does start to get better soon.

DippyChristmas · 11/12/2007 11:55

Hope you find the camera - enjoy the performances - wow - soundsl ike a big school!!

right, off to Tesco and then off to meet-up with a friend and then wander round aimlessly, looking at all the lovely things I can't afford!

normabutty · 11/12/2007 13:13

Oooh thanks for that Luce . I eventually won a voucher with my 3rd email address .

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 11/12/2007 13:41

Now come on ladies - Oooggs has got a new thread title for us but this one is a good 200 messages short. Buck up and post will you? Or have you got lives and are out there doing stuff?

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 11/12/2007 13:49

Baby B still asleep - in her baby nest with a blanket. Sooooooooo cute!

I've added three pics of her to my profile - the one with the box is my favourite

DippyChristmas · 11/12/2007 14:40

Awwwww, NL - B is a cutie - LOVE the pic with the box - LOL

Back from town now, P sleeping, not for long, I'll be bound - so just zooming through a few bits 'n' bobs .......

Thanks Dippy - just wait till I upload the one I took of her asleep today....not sure what to do about the ab's - don't think my temp has gone up - but the sore boob is no better and I feel achey...dh says take them....I think I'll hold out till I come back from school and see then.

DippyChristmas · 11/12/2007 15:11

Don't be a Martyr - TAKE THEM!!

OP posts:
NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 11/12/2007 15:58

I'm back and I'm taking them. Paracetamol will help with the aching - but I don't feel the basic problem has shifted much so unfeasibly large capsules here I come///

DippyChristmas · 11/12/2007 16:45

NL, it would seem that you and I don't have a life.

OP posts:
NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 11/12/2007 16:45

Right now I know I've spent the whole day whimpering about my boob but that's no reason for everyone to go to ground
YoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooHooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooo

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 11/12/2007 16:45

normabutty · 11/12/2007 16:48

Nah I'm here too. You're not the only ones with no life

I've done no cleaning either.

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 11/12/2007 16:50

Dippy - have you seen the bible study thread? I think I'll give it a whirl - need to do more than at present!
Hi Norma - never mind about the cleaning - I've done nothing today as well

normabutty · 11/12/2007 16:53

Maybe I can get dh to do it all help out

DippyChristmas · 11/12/2007 16:56

Ooooh, I'll go and have a look later, NL - Thank you.

Hello Norma - Naughty girl, go clean .....

Need to go and feed grumpy baby.

leakythesnowman · 11/12/2007 17:07

Those of you with snotty babies is it normal for them to cry a lot more. G has done 3 solid hours of screaming this afternoon. It doesn't seem to be pain crying but I couldn't do much to calm him. A few short feeds and a couple of snatches (3 mins tops)of sleep then he'd be at it again. He's curently flaked out on my bed. I gave him some medised an hour ago and he finally went off about 10 minutes ago. I feel useless.

We went for his 8 month check today and he's lost weight in the 2 weeks since I last had him weighed. HV said it was probably due to his cold and being off his food. And not to worry but then I got him home and he's done nothing but scream so my mind is working overtime.

mammyjounderthemistletoe · 11/12/2007 17:51

Leaky, has he got a cold? If he has then he probably just feels rotten which would explain the crying. I am assuming he isnt sleeping well which just adds to the vicious circle of tiredness and crying too. If you are worried, maybe take him to the gp tomorrow just to check him over. It will give you peace of mind if nothing else

Dippy, your prayers must have helped as ds is definitely a little brighter this afternoon Not back to normal by any means but at least he is feeling a bit cheekier

mammyjounderthemistletoe · 11/12/2007 17:54

Oh and leaky, you are not useless, dont ever tell yourself that xx

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 11/12/2007 18:21

Leaky don't worry! Tbh - if I could get away with crying right now I would - I feel so achey - despite the paracetamol. Poor little G - crying is the only way he has to express his discomfort - I'm sure it's just his cold - which makes food and sleep seem like difficult hurdles for him. You just have to hang in there - your happy chap who loves his food will be back - in the mean time what a lovely mummy he has - you've sought advice, worried over him and dosed him up - truly an 8mth old baby can ask no more

Pesha - are you there - how are you?

Norma - how goes the cleaning? I just know you've got your nose pressed to the floor scrubbing it right?

Tcmummy - good to hear ds is on the mend

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 11/12/2007 18:22

sorry I meant mammyjo - good ds is on the mend - excuse me I am on antibiotics you know (whimper)

jingleoooggs · 11/12/2007 18:56

very busy day - ds1 is now 4 back later when all asleep!!!!!
