NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 10/12/2007 20:27

thrown at me again!!!

jingleoooggs · 10/12/2007 20:27

you bored too??????

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 10/12/2007 20:27

Did that help? (innocent smile whilst massaging head)

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 10/12/2007 20:29

Errrrrm a bit - should go and have my tea really. Dh out at carol concert rehearsal, babes in bed.

Pesha - are you out there? How is your bosom issue? Mine is a bit better I think - but I ffel tired and a bit achey - not bad enough to be the dreaded mastitis I hope! Just knackered

jingleoooggs · 10/12/2007 20:39

right I'm off to bed, dh on backs tonight and has day off tomorrow night all x

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 10/12/2007 20:52

Night Ooggs

Evening, doing one of my infrequent postings again. Mush head here, starving hungry but bugger all food in the house, not helping my concentration....

Ellie - I cannot believe Justin, what an utter arse.

Sorry for all the poorly boobies!

SOL - what a pain that K's poo as gone weird again. I have the opposite problem with resepct to S's weight gain, she is such a little barrel. She cannot fit into 6-9 month trousers as they do not fit around her 'waist' (if you can call it that). I was actually going to see the HV to ask if she is too fat. Is it possible to over-feed a 7-month old?

Eddas - love the costume! Em's nativity play is tomorrow. She is going to be a tree. You have to admire the invetiveness of primary school teachers, when they have to find all the children a part in the play. Last year there were dancing chickens on the stage.

Well both S and E have dreadful hacking coughs. S ended up in bed with us last night as it meant I could prop her up a bit on my pillow so she could breathe better. I have to say I really enjoyed having her all snuggled up next to me, she's so yummy, even when full of snot.

DH still at work, as per usual. Am so fed up with the amount he has to work in the run-up to and over Christmas. At least he has tomorrow off and can come and see E's play.

SecretSantaforGMM · 10/12/2007 22:13

Ho, Ho, Ho etc - GMM - your gift is on it's way..............

Peshanearth · 10/12/2007 22:22

I am here but very tired so just off to do kids lunches for tomorrow then going to bed. Feel abit under the weather but think its just the cold. Boob is seeming a bit better now although still looking pretty red.

Really dont want to do lunches but didnt bother last night as too tired and we were late for school this morning

Sorry for no personals, fuzzy cold head is retaining nothing and it hurts to think!

Boob suddenly hurting again

Best get on

Night all

elkiedee · 11/12/2007 00:01

Sorry to hear all sorts of bugs seem to be going around - me too.

POTC, just shocked at your ex. My dad waited to leave my mum until I was born and I always thought that was a bit outrageous but he did always keep in touch and I used to stay with him and his second wife once or twice a week. He's been a brilliant grandfather so far to D. Hope your ex grows up a little some time for the sake of both his children, but at least as others have said Joe has a great mum.

Night all.

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 11/12/2007 08:58

Uggh - well I'm here not out braving the cold and that tells you all you need to know. I think I may have mastitis (sp?)
Boob sore - and feels quite a deep soreness iykwim? Not terribly red - but last night I was so achey and feverish - 4am a particular low I can still feed B on that side - and am doing religously - but it hurts! (whimper) Off to the doctors just after 10am - lovely, lovely receptionist - no problem getting an appointment. This will be my second non-pregnancy related visit in 9 years - so I'm not doing bad. (excluding smears etc - ugh ugh)

So what's everyone else doing today?

DippyChristmas · 11/12/2007 09:07

Poor boob, Pesha - any better today??

Hello Bugmum - Great to "see" you, deary me at all the sibling rivalry in your house - I think I am very fortunate that my DDs 1 & 2 adore P - alhoguh they are still pretty young themselves, so their love can be rather OTT at times - P is turning into one tough cookie, I can tell you!!

Hope you all enjoy Em's Nativity, IDOC - lovely that DH has got the day off. MY DH is trying to find time to go to some of our Christmas things too, which is nice.

Right, hope everyone is well today - Older two at nursery, so I'm about to hop in the shower now I've put P down for a sleepy.....

oh that's cheered me up a bit - lovely b has fallen asleep in my arms - i do love that - of course it means typing is very slow....

DippyChristmas · 11/12/2007 09:24

Hoep it isn't mastitis, NL xx

OP posts:
NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 11/12/2007 09:29

so do I! But it's my own fault - was so busy on Sunday b got fed first thing, then a bit of a snack at church - but only one side.By the time we got home the other side was feeling v full - and then i woke up yesterday feeling sore. it doesn't look to bad at all though - oh i don't know - i'm just very cross with myself!

DippyChristmas · 11/12/2007 09:39

We all do it - you're a busy mum of three chilren, tis not your fault!! Mine don't really get full anymore, P only really has a feeding-frenzy 1st thing in the morning and then isn't really bothered for the rest of the day. She'd much rather have a steak!

Morning

Just having some food and a cup of tea before attempting to start the big clean up

NL - hope it goes well at the docs.

Pesha - hope your boob is ok ( sounds a bit odd saying that to someone )

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 11/12/2007 11:00

hi am back. doctor was lovely - thinks the same as me - that it is a mild case of mastitis so i have antibiotics - he suggested seeing how i get on this afternoon before taking them as it might clear itself. Still painful boob - it is weird to be going into all this isn't it - but feel relieved to have seen the doc
dippy - have e-mailed

DippyChristmas · 11/12/2007 11:02

Hope it does clear up and you don't need the anti-b's, NL - Glad that the dr was lovely and helpful though.

Right, P up so need to galvanise myself into action ........
