Just looked on website. Think it is nicer than ours. Feel sick.

mammyjounderthemistletoe · 10/12/2007 16:06

Totally maxxed out on calpol and nurofen too and his temp is still rocketing despite me staggering the doses. Am sure it is just viral as when the temp does come down a bit he seems reasonable, and is just full of cold with runny nose and cough. Bless him.

Am now fairly sorted for christmas and have wrapped most of the presents for the dc's. Have also done their stockings and it is all up at my mums house away from little eyes Ds is so excited, he heard on the tv today that it is only two more weeks and he rushed up the stairs to tell me, even though he must feel like pants

mammyjounderthemistletoe · 10/12/2007 16:10

Oh leaky, what a pita. Is theirs priced close to yours too?

cazboldy · 10/12/2007 17:44

what is it with some people?
am on 2 threads on here. 1 about taking drugs,1 about leaving kids home alone. i disagree with both and am in the minority on both threads!
maybe it's me!

DippyChristmas · 10/12/2007 18:31

I steer clear of convtroversial threads on here - right wuss me - Stick to what I know (& what I have time for too!) .....

Sorry Ds is soooooo poorly, MJ Praying he improves soon.

{{{{Leaky}}}} Stop worrying. xx

I am knackered - had a mad a/n at my friends house - she has 6 children of her own and child-minds for 2 more, madness.....

think you are a very wise woman Dippy! and I may have to follow your example!

Sexmasonlegs · 10/12/2007 18:37

Hi folks

Pesha, your poor boob - sounds awful. Hope it is fixed soon.

Eddas, hope you are ok pet. Ikwym re feeling overwhelmed by everything that needs doing.

POTC, Justin sounds an utter ar**. Thank God you are a lovely, grounded, caring mummy.

GMM/Luce, glad you girlies had a good time at the weekend.

Leaky, pants to the flat next door going on the market. Can you entice them in to your place with some cakes!!

Hi NL, has your day been less busy??

MJ, your poor ds. That is a very high temperature to have. Hope he feels better soon. Ikwym re applying for other jobs. I have applied for another role, but tbh, the thought of starting afresh with a new company so soon after K seems like a pita to me. Just need some familiarity atm.

Hi to everyone else - brain now drained.

All ok here, but have been at work, then mad rush to take B to gymnastics, and now off on the bath/bed fiasco routine!

Catch up later. x

normabutty · 10/12/2007 18:39

Hello

Leaky - thanks for today x. Have emailed you. Hope your potential buyer picks your flat. Maybe dh and I could have a nose round next doors (I like being nosey!!! )

I won't be on so much until after the new year! Have to get the house sorted before my parents arrive on Friday then we have family until after xmas and stuff so not sure when I'll have time to get on.

Also hoping to not come on too late anymore, really want to find a way of switching off in an evening. One of the side effects of my ADs is insomnia (doc thinks it'll wear off over the next few weeks) but am getting very little sleep at the moment so trying to do what I can to improve it.

SO IF YOU SEE ME ON HERE KICK ME OFF

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 10/12/2007 19:30

Hi epb! Sorry you're stressed - but baby/house move/Christmas all at once - stressed goes with the territory!

Bugmum · 10/12/2007 19:56

Ho, ho, ho.
Hi All,
Just making one of my rare guest appearances to wish you all a lovely festive season. I wanted to change my name to a festive one, but for some reason the system isn't letting me (am not a troll, honest guv!).

I have tried to skim read every so now and again, so am up=to=date on the big stuff, I think, like Dippy's nearly good news, but probably not so sorted on the ins and outs of who is sleeping etc. At 7 months, we put G in a cotbed in his own room (had been in an Amby nest until then, next to our bed), and he DOES NOT LIKE IT!!!! Waking pretty much every two hours; it feels like having a newborn but without the not-doing-all-the-normal-stuff that comes with just having had a baby.

DS1 spends quite a lot of time pushing G over when he is sitting, or laying on him, or hitting him in the head. Any time G has a toy, DS1 takes it from him, claiming, 'Babies only have rattles'. Heigh ho, the joys of sibling rivalry. G just laughs, generally, though has taken to holding on fast to said toy, and good for him.

I am very excited about Christmas, though, and just keeping everything crossed that none of us has germs then.

Come on, ladies, one of you get preggers for Christmas!

Lots of love to all,
BahHumbugMum xxx

BahHumBugmum · 10/12/2007 20:02

Think have just changed it after all

jingleoooggs · 10/12/2007 20:03

pregnant by Christmas would be my worst nightmare

hi bugmum - glad to 'see' you

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 10/12/2007 20:13

Oh oooggs - that would put you back in the 3 under 4 camp

(NL runs away quick before Oooggs throws something at her)

jingleoooggs · 10/12/2007 20:19

oooggs has just picked up the computer monitor to throw at NL

jingleoooggs · 10/12/2007 20:23

I know I am too early, but for the first time I have thought of a thread title, so we need to get this one moving a bit before my idea is past its sell by date

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 10/12/2007 20:26

Right

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 10/12/2007 20:26

ok then

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 10/12/2007 20:26

will this do

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 10/12/2007 20:26

don't want

jingleoooggs · 10/12/2007 20:26
