Good luck for a good nights sleep Jammy!

annobalthebignosereindeer · 02/12/2007 19:02

Bumper is she eating solids yet (sorry, I don't remember)? Could she be allergic to something new?

Does it smell vinegary and quite slimey texture? That is usually teething.

IsawBUMPERkissingsantaclaus · 02/12/2007 19:06

No solids annobal. she seems to be straining a little too

annobalthebignosereindeer · 02/12/2007 19:15

Have you eaten anything different? A while ago I didn't have any fruit in the day and DS got a bit constipated. Poor monkey, she could have a tummy bug?

IsawBUMPERkissingsantaclaus · 02/12/2007 20:04

oooh er..chilli last night and tonight Does what you eat really have that much of an affect?

TBH I'm not really worried, just wondered if it was an indicator of anything obvious. Some of the babes on here have had D&V, not sure if I would know if DD had the D.

TheTwelveDAISYOfChristmas · 02/12/2007 20:11

maybe a tummy upset bumper? Not sure, as what I eat seems to have little or no effect on DD. she positively thrives on hot and spicy, but that's maybe cos I ate a lot of spicy food when pg?

I take it back about my DH. He swears blind he told me he had to be in the office tomorrow, but I thought he would be home tomorrow. Anyhoo he's just left, which means he has been home for precisely 48 hours since last Sunday. And, I'm off to Scotland next weekend, so I won't see him until next Monday. I'm beginning to wonder why we are even married to each other.

DD has got a rash all over her cheeks and ears. small pimply spots a bit like heat rash. I'm worried as she had toast this morning and I get a similar rash if I have gluten. But she had a bit of a temperature, so I'm not sure. She seems happy enough though.

Her nappy rash is back again as well . It seems that whatever we use on it works for a week, then stops being effective.

upsyderlor · 02/12/2007 21:18

Sputnik · 02/12/2007 21:31

Well, nothing jiucy, I just said that you'd said re weaning that 6 months meant 24 weeks. Hope I remembered right.

Real life. Pah, over-rated

upsyderlor · 02/12/2007 21:34

26 weeks actually (half of 52!!) nearly right though

See you've not updated your name to a festive one then?? I can't think of a festive thing with Sputnik in it anyway!!

TheTwelveDAISYOfChristmas · 02/12/2007 21:40

Hey sputnik, did i tell you about my LOVELY day out with Daisy??

upsyderlor · 02/12/2007 21:48

lovely pic of you Sputnik

Sputnik · 02/12/2007 21:50

I'm feeling better with the weekend behind me. It's tough on your own.

TheTwelveDAISYOfChristmas · 02/12/2007 21:51

aha, I already got in there first andf told then what a horrible lovely person you are?

I'm allright. I'm back up to Scotland on Thursday, but only for a flying visit. Mum was offered a place in the hospice, but having chatted it through with my sisters and her mac nurse, she has decided she isn't ready to die just yet, so would like to wait until after Christmas before even thinking about the hospice. Bless her, she is just so strong , but I've been warned to expect a big change in her in the two weeks it'll have been since I saw her!

Sputnik · 02/12/2007 21:52

Did you take her truck for a spin?

Sputnik · 02/12/2007 21:54

Your mum is fantastic Daisy

upsyderlor · 02/12/2007 21:55

we compared trucks in the car park!!

Daisy, that's brave of your mum - hope she gets her wish, determination goes a long way at this stage, you'll all just need to make it an extra special christmas x

TheTwelveDAISYOfChristmas · 02/12/2007 21:56

I'm not being rude derlor by buggering off as soon as you appear, but I'm off to dose myself up with co-codamol and rub myself down in voltarol gel in the hope of a good night's sleep....after watching The Long Way Down on 4+1

Don't be a stranger

Sputnik · 02/12/2007 21:59

Don't forget the peas and straw Daisy
