HaveYourselfaNortyLittleXmas · 04/12/2007 19:03

Got my SS Holly - thanks and thanks for sorting it out

Well....I hope the dust has settled from today and no-one disappears on us....I think this is a great group and everyone has a lot of experience and advice to contribute.

It is very hard to keep up with everyone, and by the time I've caught up, I've forgotten most of it....so if I don't mention you specifically, please don't take it personally........I just have a crap memory.

DD was REALLY excited to see me when I got home tonight and it bought tears to my eyes....I know in my heart now I've done the right thing for me. After me telling the nursery not to let her sleep for more than 4 hours a day (in 3 naps), she had 3 30 minute naps....needless to say she's fallen asleep no problem just now

TinselTrace2 · 04/12/2007 19:03

so if some one gets a pair of tighs for oldies and some hankies you know who there off

annobalthebignosereindeer · 04/12/2007 19:03

Sputnik, you forgot him for me...

annobalthebignosereindeer · 04/12/2007 19:06

HaveYourselfaNortyLittleXmas · 04/12/2007 19:17

Work was OK thanks. Haven't completely forgotten everything.....there were so many new staff I had to be taken round and be introduced to everyone like a newbie....I've worked there 10 years FFS!!

Right off to cook dinner....later x

IsawBUMPERkissingsantaclaus · 04/12/2007 19:41

glad it went ok norty. we are just jealous that you get to pee & eat in peace!

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 04/12/2007 19:45

How come I've never seen these blokes that people (sorry - I also suffer from crap memory and forgetwho's been on and who said what) keep posting links to? I must live in some weird parallel universe with different TV shows or something?

DD in bed, has been for 45 mins, but just as I started typing she started crying, so DH has gone to do his soothing Daddy act. I'm now dreading the coming night

Hi Bumper, so am I right in thinking we're meeting with TA/Fury next Weds, at Swindon outlet place? I thought for a bit that I might not be able to come out to play, as we'd ordered some stuff including a guest bed (inflatable) for my parents' visit, and it was due to be delivered then. But bingo! they delivered it today instead.

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 04/12/2007 19:52

Thanks MHC. I'm hoping that it's a good sign that she was awake enough at bedtime to actually take a decent feed (this has been a problem the past couple of weeks), and that this is just a blip.

IsawBUMPERkissingsantaclaus · 04/12/2007 20:12

That's the plan jammy. hope you have a better night soon. one of my rl friends is having similar problems with night waking and her dd is the same age as ours. can we help at all?

TheTwelveDAISYOfChristmas · 04/12/2007 20:17

evening....I've been trying to post something about earlier events for over an hour now, but have given up as I like being a hunni and not offfending people....wtf went on?

mhc....you mentioned ages about a diet for controlling thrush....enlighten me please; I think I have thrush in my nostrils FFS

glad your first day back has been OK DKMA and Norty; it will get better!

hello to everyone else.

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 04/12/2007 20:19

Thanks Bumper, but I think we just have to ride through it if it's either a phase, or it'll get better if it's hunger. But being able to whinge about it here is a real help.

BadZelda · 04/12/2007 20:23

Actually you're right Sputnik - but I had run out of dressing gowns. Pretty much immediately after posting this morning I thought 'shit what have I done, post first think later' - but didn't get a chance to come back and apologise due to afformentioned toddler and grizzly baby today. Anyway - really sorry Jammy, you didn't deserve it; what you did deserve was a bit of sympathy for your sleepless nights.
Off to lambast myself with cat o nine tails.
