blardy hell, even reduced it's still too dear

DS had a Mamas and Papas Walk'n'Play one, but they don't do it any more.

I think it'll be the chicco one as I like the different colours....

deckthehallswithboughsofholly · 03/12/2007 22:51

I want this for christmas!

TheTwelveDAISYOfChristmas · 03/12/2007 22:53

my google is sruck on the us version, so i get all sorts of weird and wonderful sites all the time.

one day, I'll figure how to use a computer properly.

holly I like the look of that play station; less hazardous than a babywalker, but there is something quite cute about your DC tearing around pulling everything off shelves as they pass by!

Right I need bed...only got 4 hours really disturbed sleep last night, but my back feels so much better tonight, so fingers crossed for a good one.

upsyderlor · 03/12/2007 22:54

ooooh, just checked my e-mail and now have my secret santa recipient

TinselTrace2 · 04/12/2007 08:55

morning, you lot talking about baby walkers been looking to get dd one for xmas but tried her shes just to small and of corse not strong enough, sending my secert santa soon

IsawBUMPERkissingsantaclaus · 04/12/2007 09:02

Morning, just enjoying my half hour of so of blissful peace I get in the morning. DD wakes up at 7ish, feeds, has a chat/play for half an hour or so then usually goes back to sleep. I love this time of day!

Hope you all had good restful nights. I'm off to my breastfeeding group in a bit.

Ooh, I forgot to tell you about my bargain yesterday. I bought a beautiful knee length black fitted wool coat yesterday from a charity shop for £20! It's gorgeous. I don't think I have ever had a proper new winter coat (not since I was a kid anyway - even then most of my stuff was hand me downs!). This one is gorgeous and a perfect fit too!

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 04/12/2007 09:05

Morning. Another horrendous night chez Jammy. But she did consent to coming into bed with us at 5.45, instead of getting up, and we all went back to sleep until 7.45

Looks like I missed talk of all things baby walker related. (btw love that spotty bag!). No point getting one here, I reckon a typical baby walker would take up so much of our front room that poor mite would get frustrated shuffling back and forth with no space to get a decent run in. Love the wheelie bug thing and would be v.tempted when we can get outside in better weather. DH reminded me that I still have the sit & ride tortoise that I had as a child stored at my parents So Jimmy (that's what he's called) will get resurected for DD

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 04/12/2007 09:06

Your coat sounds top, Bumper!

TinselTrace2 · 04/12/2007 09:08

jammy what about getting an entertainer them

HaveYourselfaNortyLittleXmas · 04/12/2007 09:14

This is very odd - I'm sitting at my desk back and work....wondering what to do....

Must look BUSY.....will catch up later x

Still no SS e-mail Holly.....

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 04/12/2007 09:18

I love the idea of it, Trace, but again it would just take up too much space. After she's in bed it would just sit in the middle of the room, dominating it. I know I'm probably being really naive and loads of experienced parents will piss themselves laughing at me, but we're really after toys that can be put away in the evening. (Jammy feels really guily about this as we do have a separate room where we could put it at night, but we won't get any furniture in it at the rate we're going using it as storage for DD and we didn't pay to have an extension built to then use it as a glorified shed)

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 04/12/2007 09:18

Good luck Norty, have fun, hope all goes well

DKMA · 04/12/2007 09:50

Hi Ladies!

I am just popping in quickly to ask if anyone knows the format for the Secret Santa thing.

I know who I am buying for - I just don't know if it is for the baby / mum / both, and how much?

Hope you are all ok?

Had my first day back at work yesterday - back in again on Friday - it was great! The day flew by and I was home by 3.30 :-)

andiemisletoe · 04/12/2007 09:54

morning all

Norty how's it going it's very odd isn't it when you first go back

jammy I know what you mean about toys when we moved my number one thing was to have a playroom and it is fab only small but enough for toys sofa telly etc

going to wrap some pressies today and finish sorting out prizes for the school xmas fair on sat

love that website by the way derlor

deckthehallswithboughsofholly · 04/12/2007 10:06

Hi DKMA, glad you enjoying work. Sometimes I think it would be nice to go to work for a bit of a break!

The secret santa is pretty flexible. The gift can be for mum or baby or both and the suggested spend is £10, but you can spend however much you like.

Norty, I'll get dp to log in to my facebook later and message you through there. The lycos address he is using doesn't seem to be sending messages to some email addresses. It'll be easier if he does it through FB as then we'll def know that you've got it. I did log on to his FB the other day and muck about and change loads of things, so don't be surprised if my FB suddenly changes! He is out for revenge!

Morning all - just realised you've a new thread as I haven't been on here for AGES. Jammy...here's a little perspective for you and your 'difficult' baby: I'll swap you a toddler who spent pretty much 8 solid hours screaming yesterday in between completely trashing the house?

BadZelda · 04/12/2007 10:08

And Holly...sorry to sound grumpy but I still haven't had my secret santa? can someone else other than your DH organise it please, as obviously he couldn't manage a piss up in a brewery?

deckthehallswithboughsofholly · 04/12/2007 10:12

I'll get him to message you on FB when he gets home BZ. He definately sent you an email, but the lycos address doesn't seem to be sending to some addresses.

I do apologise for the delay, but he is doing this as a favour.

Thanks for the info Holly - I'll get shopping now

annobalthebignosereindeer · 04/12/2007 10:18

Love the bag Holly. What are the chances of you getting it for Christmas?

DS2 had this but we borrowed it. The Graco one looks great.

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 04/12/2007 10:22

BZ, Thanks but I think I'll pass on your very kind offer Hard as it is at times I'm kinda attached to this one
