Morning all.....

Thought I'd start a new thread as the other was huge.

Bit late now but big hug to Beau..... hope you went back to sleep little man.

J & M still asleep, it's one good thing about having Mum & Dad around, I don't have to wake the girls up to do the school run.

largeginandtonic · 16/11/2007 06:47

Tis a dead giveaway SKY.... hope you are ok.

Beau is wheezy this morning, it's that old dilema...to doctor or not to doctor. It is Friday and if i dont take him today then he wont get seen (easily) till Monday.I also have to work this morning. I will wait for SOH to get up and ask her How bizzare An real life SOH in my house.

I realise now Cam that they are destined to be together, cant promise B wont try to swoop though

Breakfast to be made, pack lunches to do. Oh the humdrum.

LeafCoveredMeadow · 16/11/2007 08:37

So how did the SOH family survive their 1st night in the G&T house??

ShowOfHands · 16/11/2007 09:07

I may never recover.

M and B seemed to get along well although I can't say in all seriousness that she wasn't just trying to eat him. She had that 'fresh meat' look in her eye. God help Jasper.

My stomach is still in knots this morning. It's like meeting a popstar. A popstar you know slightly too much about in a 'how they spend New Years' way. Aherm.

She must think I'm a terrible houseguest. I was up a lot in the night alternating clearing a blocked duct and feeding the Tank so slept in this morning after crawling out long enough to take painkillers. DH did the human climbing frame to 27 children bit.

Going to wash the 7 hour journey off me now and see if I can find some housework to do in what is frankly an immaculate house. Superwoman is up, out and facing the day in a way I fail to on a regular basis.

LG&T disappointingly doesn't look like Ma Larkin but she is very pretty and lovely. And a heroine to be putting up with us for a couple of days.

MrsJB, lots of love to your dsis! How exciting.

Both boys were well enough to go to the CM this morning, hoorah! I'm on my own. Aidan didn't get a temperature overnight so that is a huge improvement even though he was still up about 5 times. N seems to be making a miraculous recovery but is still pretty tired. Such a relief that things seem to be getting better.

I'd love to be a lurking fly on the wall of lg&t's house, how amusing that you are finally meeting. Hope your eye is feeling better SOH. I had a blocked tear duct the other day but it sorted itself out quite quickly, seem to have loads of mouth ulcers at the moment too so must be run down. I was going to get some floradix as a tonic for N so maybe I should get some for myself too.

Enjoy the meet up!

sweetheart · 16/11/2007 15:39

largeginandtonic · 16/11/2007 17:25

Ahhhhhhh gawd love er...

They have been gone all day, hope she hasnt legged it after scary LG&T household initiation. Didnt hear her once in the night, she creeps like a mouse

Hugs just drew all over the wall in the dinning room I need J back to play with him He is fab.

Cake baking stands at a choc cake, brownies and lemon loaf. That may be it, B is being a pickle.

Mrsjaffabiffa · 16/11/2007 19:13

Wooo hooo for the arrival of SOH et fammile chez lg&t et fammile. Tres fantastique!

dsis should have had her waters boken this afternoon, fingers crossed. Haven't heard from her since she text to say they were going to take her down and do it, so hopefully now we are just awaiting baby news. how exciting!!

Have had a very busy day, food shopping after the school run, gee tha was a close one too, once the door is shut thats it, no going in til lunch time. Door supposed to shut at 9am I screamed into the carpark at 9.03 and fortunately someone was just coming out of the already closed door so I grabbed it and through h in. Ooooops, he'll get a black mark I'm sure! [bad mommy emotion]

Then I decided after putting the shopping away it was time J came out of our room and into her own, que complete furniture up heaval, swapping sofa bed from J's room to Maddies and all J's furniture out of Maddies room into her new one (which used to be a small guest room). I was going to put the girls in together but I'm not brave enough yet, have decided to leave it a few years until they are old enough for bunk beds. Looks good now so I'm pleased but it was a mammouth task!

hope all going have a nice time tomorow. Hoping to catch those there on MSN or maybe even give them a wave on the web cam. Wooo Hooo

OP posts:
scootermum · 16/11/2007 20:37

Im alright ta, very glad to be back!..Have finally lost it with the quite sumptuous 70's decor in the new house though and have today set about the plastic Mahogany effect fitted wardrobes with a large wooden mallet!(This served two purposes in the end however, as not only did it rid our bedroom of some of the hideous-ness but it also calmed me down no end as L had just marker penned the sofa-any tips on dealing with a nearly two year old tantrum thrower much appreciated as she is incorrigible at the moment!)
Any news yet?

Grrrr, cant believe am missing another meet up [mutters under breath]And SOH is going too..I wanted to see her straw hat!

Am taking L to see Santa helicoptering in to the local gerden centre tomorrow..then she is having breakfast with Santa in the coffee shop..she will likely be frightened to death but we have to vacate the house as DH revising for exams again!

juliewoolie · 16/11/2007 20:55

Julie I'm planning to leave at 8.30 (ha ha yeah right) and should be there at 10.30. We will go and do some touristy things around lunchtime.

I haven't even told dh I am going to meet you all in P'mouth AGAIN, he might think I am going to meet some fancy fella (with 3 kids in tow!)

AM, should be frostymeadow if the last couple of mornings are anything to go by

See you virtually tomorrow MrsJB

Pebblemum · 17/11/2007 00:25

Evening all

Have no idea why im still sat up playing around on the bloody pc, im knackered lol

Am so that i cant make the meet up tomorrow, would have been great seeing you all again and meeting the famous SOH and M but J has a party and dh has taken the day off work to take me christmas shopping (trust me this is not something I can afford to miss, its not often he does it)

Has anyone been following the Peter Tobin saga on the news. Talk about horrible, all those poor girls he is suspecte dof killing. It gives me the creeps to think that he used to live opposite my brother (in Havant) and I used to see him around. I know what he did to those two girls he sexually assaulted and raped in his flat was bad but in hindsight they were lucky to get out alive, now we know what a sick evil b'stard he is. {{{shiver}}}

While im on here I want some advice regarding what happened to me the other week. Its a bit TMI but im not sure if I should be worried or not, Right here goes... I had my D&C two weeks ago yesterday and was told the bleeding should last up to 7 days, just like a normal AF but im still bleeding on and off now. Its not heavy and it is more like the end of an AF, Im not getting any pains and its not smelly (was told to watch out for things like that because it could mean an infection) Should I be worried or just accept that my body is just taking a bit longer to settle down (I bled for almost 4wks on and off after having Alana so maybe im just awkwaard) What do you think?

largeginandtonic · 17/11/2007 11:08

Mum2G , i didnt get your mail. Come over any time, we are here so is Cam now!! Wahoooooooo
