Hi all!

Happy birthday Jammy! D'you get anything nice?

Foxy, hope LO is ok and weigh in goes ok.

Norty how's the lack of kitchen going?

Fairy, hope you feel better soon!

Been to see the mental health nurse. he recommended a book and a course on managing stress & anxiety in the new year . feel a bit short changed.

annobalthebignosereindeer · 13/11/2007 18:19

Sorry andie - it's annobal...

We've just had b'day cake for dh - ds1 wrote 'dad' on top in smarties. I love birthdays

Foxy - sounds great - will text/call if i'm not running too late (need to be back for school run at 3). Will bring aforementioned choc cake...

annobalthebignosereindeer · 13/11/2007 18:20

Bumper, that's bollocks - sorry you didn't get more out of it.

annobalthebignosereindeer · 13/11/2007 18:22

btw my favourit pizza isparma ham, rocket and parmesan cheese anddh is partial to green chicken curry pizza - sounds horrid but is actually lovely

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 13/11/2007 18:25

Well, I'm afraid we are still having duck on our pizzas tonight (ooops, was almost an embaressing typo there, good job I spotted it - look at the letter next to d on the keyboard )

Norty, what are you having in the end, with no kitchen?

Bumper, DH bought me some trainers I wanted, DD "bought" me my favourite of the Lush bubblebar slices, In-laws sent a spa voucher, brother sent a book, so yes some lovely stuff thanks. And still got something to come from my parents and sister when I see them in a couple of weeks time.

I think you'd be lynched in italy for peking-duck pizza, but we'll let you off this time as it is your birthday .

DD has moved on to the D part of this D&V bug, and both DCs have new colds, neither of them were fully over the fallout from the last cold. Is it just me or do other people's DC's seem to be constantly ill?

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 13/11/2007 18:28

Annobal, your DH's cake sounds great. No cake here I'm afraid. Birthday yoghurts instead . But I did have a Jammy Santa biscuit at BHS this afternoon

annobalthebignosereindeer · 13/11/2007 18:38

Jammy, enjoy your pizza - sending you some choc cake with smarties on top...

FairyOnTopOfTheChristmasTree · 13/11/2007 18:52

Hi everyone, thanks for the good wishes. Am fully dosed with lemsip and high dose vit C and feeling abit more human so sitting in front of pooter while DH does bath and bed and cooks dinner (should I be ill more often?!)

My DCs seem to have permanent sniffles this winter.

Hope you enjoy Cafe Au Play - I've not been for a while and it's a bit lacking in toys but they are very child friendly and don't mind if DCs charge around while you have coffee and cake so it is worth a try!

I love pizza in whatever form it comes as long as it has no fish of any type or pineapple on it

foxythesnowman · 13/11/2007 19:20

mmm Pizza...

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 13/11/2007 19:36

Glad that you're feeling a bit more with it Fairy.

Tummy is now full of pizza (yum), now having some wine - and relax!

Isawbumperkissingsantaclaus · 13/11/2007 20:00

Jammy, I love lush! Btw, how are you fixed for next thurs, 22nd, for a meet up? If anyone else is interested Jammy and I are going to meet up in good ol' Swindon!

deckthehallswithboughsofholly · 13/11/2007 20:05

Glad you are feeling a bit better fairy!

Just been to WW. Was a bit scary (esp finding out how much I actually weigh ). Group was run by a very camp Italian man called Fabian! I get 34 points a day...wicked!

I love pizza, am veggie so no meat for me! Duck on pizza sounds ruff! Pineapple and sweetcorn in a regular pizza place or caramalised onion and goats' cheese in pizza express! Yum! I guess one of those would be all my daily points!

annobalthebignosereindeer · 13/11/2007 20:06

Dunno about the pizza, Holly, but the cheesecake with icecream must be a weeks worth - no wonder I can't shift this pg weight...

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 13/11/2007 20:07

22nd is fine, Bumper.

I love Lush stuff as well. I know some people find the scents a bit overpowering (though a friend of mine who claims he can't bear to walk down the same street as a Lush shop as it makes him feel ill is a bit of a drama queen in my opinion), but I love their stuff. DH likes the "bath ballistics" but I'm a bubble bar girl myself. I also got the catalogue for their sister company, Be never Too Busy To Be Beautiful, the other day (vegan cosmetics I think) and some of their stuff looks fab too.

annobalthebignosereindeer · 13/11/2007 20:08

andiemisletoe · 13/11/2007 20:12

luurve pizza express cheesecake a margarita is 11 points so you can have one of those as I have tonight for my tea
hope you all have a good evening

deckthehallswithboughsofholly · 13/11/2007 20:14

Butterballs from Lush are the bestest things in the world ever! They smell heavenly edible and make your skin feel as soft as a baby's bottom!

I could eat breakfast lunch and dinner in Pizza Express annobal! I fucking hate diets and shit. I never used to be fat and I ate what I wanted. Buggery bollocks!

foxythesnowman · 13/11/2007 20:31

grrrrr, I have twunt rage.

DP was meant to come home bearing food so I could have a night off cooking, before he goes out. As he does every Tuesday.

SO he came hom 2 hours late empty handed and went out. Now I have to cook because not eating isn't an option.

I just want to fucking well go to bed. Food and bed. And he's fucked it up. I am so fucking tired. He is a fucking fucker. I just wanted a night off. I was really really looking forward to someone else doing the cooking but he's just shown how he is thoughtless and care-less.

DISCLAIMER: I know boiling pasta is really not big deal. But I want to cry. Tiredness = massive over-reaction.

As you were...

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 13/11/2007 20:35

You are right to be outraged Foxy. That was a definitely episode of twuntish behaviour.

Your outburst has reminded me of one of mine & DH's favourite sayings, taken from a guy who used to work at somewhere I used to work, and a good way to vent when something has annoyingly broken - "the fucking fucker's fucking fucked"

OP posts:
foxythesnowman · 13/11/2007 20:52

That is one phrase I shall definately adopt/yell Jammy!

Are you having a lovely day?

deckthehallswithboughsofholly · 13/11/2007 20:59

Foxy, go in the garden and yell "AAAAAAARRRRRRRSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEE" very loudly! I do know how you feel. Twunty dp + kids + being v tired is not a good mix and is bound to = v stressed mummy! (((HUGS)))

Hope you've had a good day jammy.

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 13/11/2007 21:00

I have had a splendid day thank you ladies Just hope the hair colouring goes as well tomorrow

OP posts:
foxythesnowman · 13/11/2007 21:03

Better still, I have just taken a Sticky Chocolate Pudding (reduced at Sains) out of the oven, and I took delivery of a new tub of Lavazza ice cream. Pah! I can hunt & forage far better than any male.

And I'm a Sleb has just started.

Happy Foxy.

foxythesnowman · 13/11/2007 21:04

Ooooh, how exciting Jammy. Are you going for vibrant red? Will you put a pic on Facebook? Good luck, enjoy the coffee and trashy mags! What a treat!
