norma - nice to see youback. glad the gp was helpful and hopefully things will be easier in a few weeks for you.

kneehighinnappies · 31/10/2007 11:35

Morning all, After a lot of thinking time I have decided that the ad's are the way to go, dh on the other hand wants to see if we can change things ourselves, but to be honest I don't think it will work and I know I can't carry on feeling the way I do, so he will just have to deal with the fact that his DW is going to be popping pills for a bit.

BUGMUM- of course I remember you, and thank you for your concern, I was making a joke when I said about ad's being a miracle cure I now they are not and there is no miracle cure for depression. I have to go back to the Dr's next week to get my ad's and to see if they can get me into councelling, she has also said that I need some "me" time away from the kids and out of the house, so my mum is babysitting on firday and I am having the day OFF!!! YAY!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

CaptainDippy · 31/10/2007 11:52

I think you have made a sensible choice, KHIN. xx

Right, P waking up so need to go and do the lunch thing and then off to play at one of DD1's friend's houses for the pm. Byeeeeeee........

mammyjo · 31/10/2007 12:11

KHIN, I think you have made the right choice too. Enjoy your day on Friday, you really deserve the break

Norma, glad the gp was helpful. Fingers crossed that the hv pulls her finger out and can useful too.

Have just put F down for a sleep but she keeps waking herself up with coughing I hate it so much when they are ill. Have got to go to the bank later too which is a pita as the weather is crap and rainy here. Oh well, hey ho!

Sexonlegs · 31/10/2007 12:17

Hi all

KHIN, I think you are doing the right thing too, and it is down to you and you only at the end of the day.

Norma, hope the ad's work and you are feeling brighter soon.

MJ, hope the HV turns up soon and all is ok.
Poor F - hope she feels better soon.

Well, I was a lazy cow and didn't go to signing time! Just as well though, as I have just opened an email from the lady that she sent at 8.15 to say the class was cancelled! I only just got it tho !

Our heating is back on - HURRAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oooggs · 31/10/2007 12:18

morning afternoon all - no we didn't have a lie in either - infact don't you need to have sleep in bed to have a lie in?

will post photos of dts later - had to make costumes for yesterdays party as couldn't justify the cost of buying two is this what it is going to be like for the next 18 years?????

have a good day and will pop in later x

Eddas · 31/10/2007 12:38

NB, glad you decided to come back, mn is great but can have the habit of making you feel crap at times too. I've entered into a few 'debates' that I possibly shouldn't have bothered with. Sometimes i say the wrong things on here too, i'm not too good at making the point that i'm been sarky. If you're sat in front of someone it's much easier for them to take what you say in the manner it's meant IYSWIM.

I hope that the AD's help NB and KHIN. I sometimes feel maybe I have mild PND as my moods are worse than normal

DD's preschool let them wear halloween costumes today, managed to get dd to wear the witch rather than the pink power ranger [rolls eyes] Oh and oooggs, once dd grows out of her girly dressing up stuff you are welcome to have it, might be a bit big atm though

mammyjo · 31/10/2007 12:45

Hv came and all is fine with F. She just asked me a load of questions about how I feel F is coming along, and also how I am feeling. I told her about the fact I have days where I am so miserable, but mostly am ok. She said that it sounds normal, and I am inclined to agree TBH. Pnd with ds was far far worse than this.

Oooggs, have emailed you. Warning - its very long winded so you may lose the will to live by the end!!

oooggs · 31/10/2007 13:09

nutty hope you are feeling ok, I missed the ad's bit and hope they help you.

Eddas - yes to anything!!!!!!!! I didn't go any further with buying some of your stuff as you were talking about no. 3!!!!!

mammyjo - off to look at email now - but only have 3 hours before I pick ds1 up from nursery

mammyjo · 31/10/2007 13:16

You might need it

mammyjo · 31/10/2007 13:17

Right, off now to pick up ds and sort his costume out as he has a halloween party tonight! See you all later xx

Eddas · 31/10/2007 13:23

I have now come to my senses

I think

Idreamofchocolate · 31/10/2007 14:06

Haven't been on for a few days, so welcome back to Nutty. I hope the anti-Ds give both you and KHIN the boost you need to help you through this tough period. I wish I'd had the guts to get some help after having Em. You will start to feel better and life will get back on track, and you will start looking forward to things again. Promise .

Suffering from dreadul cold here. S is pretty much over hers now, thank goodness. Poor little snotty lamb has been really poorly over the last few days. She had a couple of hours at her nursery this morning, so that gave me a little break. Also meant that she was really well entertained, and the girls there commented on what a happy little soul she is.

So have cancelled a house viewing I had planned for this afternoon. House hunting is getting me down already, just nothing out there that's even nearly right (well, all the 'right' houses are already sold STC/under offer). I need Kirsty and Phil to do all the donkey work for us!

Idreamofchocolate · 31/10/2007 14:07

Oh yeah, forgot to say, I have a really scary email...anyone fancy receiving it?

Pinions · 31/10/2007 14:19

Hi ladies!!!!!

So are we all set for Halloween then !?!

Spiders nets plastered all over the window, pumpkin carved, costumes at the ready and sweets galore.......Anything I've missed??

DS1 is bouncing off the walls with excitement .

All we need to do now is go out and "beg" .

Sorry no personals, in case I have missed anything major will try and catch up over the weekend, dp on lates which means no hope in hell right now, Oooggs you will probably know where I am coming from on that one.

Oh and before I forget have made the BEST EVER Spicy Butternut Squash/Leek/Potato soup in the world which I will put on recipes thread, if you are feeling particularly culinary then I URGE you to have a go, its simply divine very nice .

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Pinions · 31/10/2007 14:33

And Katy WHERE ARE YOU ?????????

You are needed on MN. .

elkiedee · 31/10/2007 14:37

Hi all, no lie in here, just busy with my mum being here and had a feed to finish as a cover while I did a catch up read of the thread.

KHIN, whether or not you take ADs is definitely your choice and no one else's. KHIN and Nutty too, hope that they help you. Hope you can also find a bit more practical support with your three very young ones as well.

SharpMolarBear · 31/10/2007 15:46

I'm here, sorry.
Have had an exciting day mopping the floor and am just about to start preparing tea.

Idreamofchocolate · 31/10/2007 16:13

Please someone say they want my scary email! It scared the crap out of me when I looked at it, so I don't want to send it to anyone with a weak heart [evil]

Sexonlegs · 31/10/2007 16:14

Go on then IDOC - send me the email!!

Idreamofchocolate · 31/10/2007 16:16

Done SOL. Enjoy.

Let me know what you think!

SharpMolarBear · 31/10/2007 16:18

i'll have it

SharpMolarBear · 31/10/2007 16:24

Thanks, that is really spooky!

Idreamofchocolate · 31/10/2007 16:26

You must be made of stronger stuff than me Katy. I made the mistake of opening it last night when I was sitting in the kitchen all alone, with the sound up full blast.

Eddas · 31/10/2007 16:28

i don't mind if you send it to me either

My tiling is finished, beautiful i'll have to take photos once it's finished. Shame I didn't get any 'before' ones as it was dreadful
