SMB, I have a feeling that psychic connection these April babies seem to have is back, Joe went to bed at 7, woke every half hour til 9, bed at 10, awake at 2, screamed, nothing would settle him, calpol dosed out, sleep til 5, screamed til 7 waking M up at 6, then more calpol, dozed on and off til 10.30 (Ihad to take day off as he was so dreadful)

I thank you!

LOL @ Pinions description of nearly knocking the lady in Morrison out with her massive pulsating boobie! Glad you and T are enjoying your boobie once more - there's no reason to stop completely if neither of your are ready - psychologically damaging, I should think!

Gosh that was a big word for a Thursday afternoon.

Bollocks, P's just woken up and I should be Dysoning.

Frankendooby · 25/10/2007 14:24

Love the title.Want Wispas and wine

mammyjo · 25/10/2007 14:42

Hello! Frank, you were so lucky to get your purse back. Most people wouldnt have been so honest. Would be a lovely gesture to give the guy something for bringing it back. Maybe even buy a few cans to give him? Just out of interest, where do you live? Noticed you were paying in euros and am nosey

Oooggs, hope last night was better. Dont know what to suggest, crossing fingers that Jack and Erin start sleeping for longer

SMB, hope T is ok now. Frustrating when you just dont know what to do with them, and even worse in the middle of the night!

Pinions, I never had a problem with giving up bf with ds as I only fed him for 5 weeks. Felt a bit guilty, but only for maybe a day! Was more of a relief to give up then as I really struggled. I think you are right about it being harder because you have done it for longer.

Eddas, fab news about the money! What a lovely surprise

SOL, lol at welsh domestic goddess!! I wish

Well F has been a pita today, refusing to sleep, hardly eating and just generally miserable. Not sure whether its a teeth thing as she seems well enough in herself. Hate days like this when I feel like she has screamed all bloody day (she hasnt, just feels like it!).

Frankendooby · 25/10/2007 14:52

Know what you mean re days like these mammyjo.I live in Co.Waterford..in a little village. It was very kind of the man to drop in round as well,i thought.M stirring now.He catnaps which gives me enough time to do the boring house bits which is sooo considerate of him

SharpMolarBear · 25/10/2007 15:05

CaptainDippy · 25/10/2007 15:54

Great you got your purse back FD - think it would be lovely to give him a little gesture to say thanks!

Frankendooby · 25/10/2007 16:05

I will do when dp comes back with some money ymorrowIt's a blimmin full time job keeping up with the threads.Shame we don't get paid for it

SharpMolarBear · 25/10/2007 17:04

Hey, for all the people who winge about ante natal and post natal threads, they're going to be able to exclude them from active conversations soon
T can do a brilliant rabbit impression, instead of crawling he sort of hops

CaptainDippy · 25/10/2007 17:10

Bless him, Quasimodo stylee!

Cool - we can have thread titles that amuse us without offending everyone!

mammyjo · 25/10/2007 18:11

That will be good, should stop anyone else moaning about us!

Frankendooby · 25/10/2007 18:48

Ooooo didn't know we were moaned about. How fabbut it is MUMSnet so why people moaning?M and ds1 poorly and my throat sore...boohoo.I have gin and i have cranberry juice...it's a no brainer reallybut i can't till dp home tomorrow.Excellrnt bunny hopping.M just kicks his legs wildly and SHOUTS

Pinions · 25/10/2007 19:00

Well I am officially not speaking to ANY of you for not using my pumpkins title .

And Dooby, you are right it does feel like a full time job sometimes keeping up with threads!!

And a lot ot people do seem to whinge about post and ante in active covo's why is that.

It is a conversation and it is very very active. Bizarre .

Eddas fab email pmsl. Shot through the heart I think was played about 10 times on Friday night (80's theme night lol), along with Karma Cameleon, Never gonna giiive you up you get the picture. Made me feel thankful tbh that times have moved on lol.

Sexonlegs · 25/10/2007 19:17

Hi lasses

Just a quick dull and brainless question as I need to get on and sort dinner. I want to cook some chicken for K on its own. The plan is to freeze it and give to her with the already frozen cubes of veg that I have made up..

So, can I fry the chicken, or do I need to cook it some other way?

I am so not a domestic Goddess!

Ta x

VamPesha · 25/10/2007 19:23

I would prob steam it sol as it would keep it much more soft and tender or boil it up in some water with a few bits of veg for flavour or actually you can boil chicken in milk or even formula for babies, well simmer rather than boil obviously. But no reason why you couldn't fry it if its all gonna be whizzed up anyway i guess.

Pinions · 25/10/2007 19:24

SOL. If you have a baking tray or a pyrex dish you can just place the chicken breasts into and it and pour in just a shallow amount (approx 5mm water) and then roast/bake it. Or you can shallow fry it, either way. Bit easier to "bake" but also spray with 1 cal spray if you have some.

I did this with ds1 and it is something that I have never forgotten because I made a HEAP of chicken and pasta and then put it all into the blender and he never touched a drop of it.

I think "chopped" chicken would be fine though, you could add some mash into it and have mash/veg/chicken all mashed together?

VamPesha · 25/10/2007 19:35

ok omfg what has just happened to mn and i just posted this - where the hell has it gone???

VamPesha · 25/10/2007 19:36

oh its all weird and confusing and scary - i dont like it!

Pinions · 25/10/2007 19:37

All the posts have been flipped and all the names have changed colours hmmmm?

Pinions · 25/10/2007 19:38

WOAH!!!

nappynuttynormabutty · 25/10/2007 19:39

Right just a quick hi to you all while tea is cooking. That would be the veg risotto cos I completely forgot to put the roast in .

Oooh I like this new style MN...lots of bits to play with

Pinions · 25/10/2007 19:39

And lol at dull and brainless question. I take it you really don't like cooking!

Sexonlegs · 25/10/2007 19:43

Thanks ladies. I expect K will turn up her nose at it too! She did enjoy her lick of my jaffa cake today tho!

People keep going on about the Halloween emoticons, but I can't see anything different! Am I missing something?

Yum veg risotto. Do you follow a recipe Nutty?

Pinions · 25/10/2007 19:43

RIGHT everything is upside down and I DO NOT like it, am off, hoping that normality will resume lol??

And am I the only 80's child around here?!
