leakyR · 28/10/2007 20:39

Do you mix the port and blue WKD? Yeeeeeuch!

Lucewitch · 28/10/2007 20:40

Bleurgh that sounds nearly as bad as the Guiness cake that I made a few weeks ago
It was yucky

leakyR · 28/10/2007 20:43

Was it a chocolate Guinness cake or more of a fruit cake? Saw a choc guiness recipe and thought it looked wrong.

Sexonlegs · 28/10/2007 20:43

Luce, you have an amazing memory - mocha and flake - yummmyyyy!!!

GMM, pmsl at baby rice, baby mice! V funny!

Oooggs, sorry you are having such a shitty time of it. Is Erin poorly (sorry if I have missed you saying before). Hope she is feeling better and you happier. x

Leaky, all I can say is Oh dear! I really hope you do not have a shitty night.

Mine's a red wine please if the drinks are still on offer! B and K have been ok today, so don't know if I am allowed drink!

I am also pleased to report that B had absolutely no head lice/eggs in her hair when I combed though, which I am so pleased about. I don't expect it will last tho once she is back at school !

elkiedee · 28/10/2007 20:43

Hugs to everyone whose babies have been giving them a hard time.

D needed lots of attention today but we still managed to get a bit of housework done before my mum gets here on Tuesday, dp cleaned up the kitchen and I just did a bit of vacuuming but it surprised me the difference a little bit of effort has had. We also got invited for tea and cakes at our friends' house nearby - they now have teenagers but remember what grizzly babies can be like so that was nice. D got really tired and we realised with a shock that he's probably still on yesterday's time when it's an hour later. Oops.

liath · 28/10/2007 20:45

I made courgette chocolate muffins the other day and they were surprisingly good! Guines would be awfully bitter wouldn't it?

I'll have a G&T for starters. I'm trying to remember the name of a cocktail as it's so long since I had a life - Flaming Arsehole keeps springing to mind..... Think it might involve butterscotch schnapps.

weepotion · 28/10/2007 20:48

is there any nibbles to go with the drink??

Lucewitch · 28/10/2007 20:50

PSML at flaming arsehole

It was the Nigella Lawson Chocolate Guiness cake, looked divine and tasted....never got as far as my mouth the smell was enough for it to be launched straight into the bin.

geordiemacmummy · 28/10/2007 20:51

Yep you add the port to the wkd - it tastes like Vimto - hence the name "cheeky vimto" - it gets you very drunk very quickly - its fantastic.... you have to try it!!!

Lucewitch · 28/10/2007 20:51

Got some Chilli Sensations here Weepotion if you would like some?

CaptainDippy · 28/10/2007 21:05
Grin
CaptainDippy · 28/10/2007 21:07

I'd love some if that is ok?

geordiemacmummy · 28/10/2007 21:08

As my last day before diet I havejust had home made beef casserole with dumplings - cooked for 4 hours it was fan bloody tastic... the only problem being I am that full I dont know whether I have space for ben and jerrys ice cream or wispa... its a tough tough life...

leakyR · 28/10/2007 21:09

I'm eating shreddies with soya milk. Don't think they'd work with booze.

If we're doing cocktails i'll have a melonball. Vodka , Midori and orange juice.
