Derlor! quick do a test!

Seansgirl · 01/11/2007 22:00

On another note Daisy (and Derlor) poor you two with siblings, I would have been shouty mummy for days. Thankfully, this far DD has only tried to full body hug DS

upsyderlor · 01/11/2007 22:00

oh god no - i'm sure i'm not
racks brain to try to remember when periods restarted after the other 2
has EVERYONE else's returned??????? {panic emoticon}

I'm hardly here, then when I am no-ones around

IamDaisy · 01/11/2007 22:01

lol holly, thanks for the hugs, but yup...one at 9 weeks , one at 15.5 weeks and now this one at nearly 22 weeks.....so not exactly regular (although every 6.5 weeks is pretty regular I suppose). I did think that because of my weepiness and weird hormonalness of the last few days I might be PG (but that would be a bloody miracle and I'd be at the head of the queue for a papal audience) until I realised I'd forgotten to take my happy pills for a few days .

right, I'm going this time.......night all!

Seansgirl · 01/11/2007 22:02

Sorry to break the news Derlor, yes I've had two (or is it three?)

IamDaisy · 01/11/2007 22:04

Don't be silly SG ....just bad timing

foxystein · 01/11/2007 22:05

None here Derlor. Still ex bf.

And no shagging here yet

Seansgirl · 01/11/2007 22:06

Thought you were night nights Daisy? Not that I'm trying to get rid of you. Think I might be going myself as feel asleep in front of TV earlier

TALLULAHBELL · 02/11/2007 05:25

Hi Girlies! No time to chat but popped couple photos on file. More on FB if u want a look. Hope to catch up soon. Miss you all.

milkyJammy · 02/11/2007 07:36

Morning.

Daisy, hope your mum is ok. Whoever asked, no periods here either.

Busy day here, I've got reflexology, then if we're done in time and I think she's in a good mood we're going to try swimming, then I want to take her to the HV clinic. Worried about her eyes, one of them is still squinty. I was told it should have sorted out by now, and I know it's a family trait so am keen to get it checked. My mum and I both had it, and in my case it lead to a condition where I hardly see out of one eye. The eye is not actually too bad, but the pathway to the brain never got established properly so the signal from the eye gets pretty much ignored. Want to avoid that in DD if at all possible.

BadZelda · 02/11/2007 08:24

Hey Daisy - sorry you've had such a hard day! Have a {{{{hug}}}} from me as well! I have mummy tantrums...then feel v v guilty if I see DD1 screaming at another child or raising a hand to hit her. Both happened at playgroup this morning ). But then another mum said 'well that's nothing, you wait till she goes to nursery...my son has learnt spitting'. Made me realise that she's not getting all her behaviour from me! You sound like a great mum - and I definitely feel a lot more stretched with more than one. Another mum said to me last week 'you'd better not have any more children'. Wasn't sure how to take it actually! Well, we were at the Tate Modern, and DD1 had just done a runner 500 feet down the turbine hall amidst hundreds of people at the time...

BadZelda · 02/11/2007 08:25

And I don't know what's up with my laptop - was trying to post that message last night?

BadZelda · 02/11/2007 08:31

And derlor - I haven't had any periods either - and didn't get them after DD1 until she was 20 months...then dopey me got preggers again! (that'll teach me to use bf as contraception)

LittleMissNorty · 02/11/2007 08:54

Morning all

Daisy...sorry to hear about your mum ....I went through this with FIL (same disease) and it's very hard (they live about 120 miles from us)....follow your instinct about going up there...are you not going this weekend now?
DH found it difficult to go there and see him but am very glad we did now IYKWIM. If you want to e-mail me, please do {{{{{{hugs}}}}}}

Derlor.....planning on 4 then ? I've had my periods back but I am FF and its all a bit haywire....have done a couple of tests though....just to make absolutely sure....

MJ - hope you get some reassurance re DDs eye...

TA - are you lurking? Gone off us?

dogtanian · 02/11/2007 08:55

Morning everyone!

Hope you are having a lovely time tallulah!

Am I being premature if I change my name to a christmas one already? I'm gonna start sorting out the secret santa properly today and I thought having a christmas name would be very apt!

LittleMissNorty · 02/11/2007 08:57

Well it is November Holly.....so whats it gonna be?

deckthehallswithboughsofholly · 02/11/2007 09:02

This one? I have a vast choice being called Holly!!

Right, so far for secret santa I have-

Foxy,
Ria,
LMN,
FayLisa,
Trace,
Jamantha,
Daisy

Anyone else? Email me on hollyandalice at hotmail.co.uk.

deckthehallswithboughsofholly · 02/11/2007 09:08

Anyone need any nappies?

Blueberries are BOGOF on their website. So that's 2 nappies for $25 and delivery is $10. I thought that was quite good!

LittleMissNorty · 02/11/2007 09:11

Great name

Where IS Ria? You must be back from your hols now?

DingDongDaisilyOnHigh · 02/11/2007 09:33

Morning

I was going to Bah Humbug the whole thing, but that name is already taken, LOL, so...if you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

thanks for all your lovely kind words....you guys rock

foxy...once again I bow to your superior parenting knowledge . I put some canesten on DDs bottom last night, and in spite of being in a nappy for nearly 14 hours, (...we were late for school so no time this morning), it's practically all cleared up . Still not sure it was thrush, but obviously some other sort of fungal infection.....will still take her to the docs on Monday and get some on prescription. No sense in paying for it if I can get it free

having a major declutter here! We are going to car boot all of our unused stuff to make a bit of money and hopefully pay for our Christmas trip. I've even got DS on board, but only with the bribe of new toys with any money he raises from selling his old un-played with stuff!

Right, gotta go as I am tempting fate with a naked baby on my lap!

deckthehallswithboughsofholly · 02/11/2007 09:36

I'm a pikey too daisy...went to the drs last night about my knee and got free ibuprofen, paracetamol and knee support! Free prescriptions rock!

deckthehallswithboughsofholly · 02/11/2007 09:36

Love the name btw!

deckthehallswithboughsofholly · 02/11/2007 10:12

Shitty bollocks...ds just weeed on the pooter!

DingDongDaisilyOnHigh · 02/11/2007 10:40

how on earth did he manage to wee on it????

I hope it's still working!

Just been reading this thread as it's very topical for us at the moment. It's very interesting I think.
