It's really easy to dye pink stuff purple, I've discovered. But then I'm the one that was guilty of buying DD1 a pink floaty kind of dress with rose petals in it in brixton market yesterday...luckily she doesn't mind being dressed like a fairy princess DD2 spent the day wearing various random items that her sister thought might look good on her. In fact have you heard of the website stuffonmycat.com ? Think we should start stuffonmysister.com...have to keep a sharp eye or it would be colanders and all sorts!

Writing is going well thanks...when I get some time to sit down with it the words fairly flow out...but that may be due to having a lot of thinking time where I don't get to write stuff down because I'm busy with kids / laundry / etc.

Foxy sorry to hear about DS's op...sounds like he was v brave. That horrible doctor!

Sputnik · 30/10/2007 21:11

Oops

AIBU to expect my dH to let me know when he might actually be coming home, or put his phone somewhere he can hear it ringingffs?

BadZelda · 30/10/2007 21:11

And I can't work out who's who on the FB group...apart from a couple. Boo....wanna see pictures!

BadZelda · 30/10/2007 21:12

No YANBU...don't you just hate it when they're late?

upsyderlor · 30/10/2007 21:12

Hi Daisy, good hol??
TA, i NEVER got your facebook invite either
Trace, glad to hear from you, sounds like Chloe is doing well.
Foxy - is your muppet HV charting you on a FF scale???? hr weight sounds pretty perfect to me, don't worry just keep doing what you're doing and maybe stop weighing her. if she is alert, and developing well maybe she is just a lovely little bundle. After all we are all shapes and sizes and so are babies xx

I'm KP BadZ.
He said he'd be late, but is now an hour and 1/4 later than he said. DD does not want to go tobed without him, luckily she slept loads this arvo

Elsbells · 30/10/2007 21:18

Evening ladies

Foxy if you are out there sorry to hear about your visit to the clinic. It must be hard to feel worried about things. Especially when you have your hands full w/other DC's. When you have more than one you feels constantly pulled in so many directions it is makes it difficult to feel like they are getting 100%. But you are. That is the thing to remember.

DS did see Mr Duffy and he performed his surgery. He was lovely. Think he first name was Patrick? Or was that a guy from Dallas?

Elsbells · 30/10/2007 21:24

bugger spooks is on...

dogtanian · 30/10/2007 21:25

Evening, I can't stay on here for longer than 5 mins at a stretch. Things keep distracting me!

Hope everyone is well.

Ds is everywhere, rolling around like a mad thing. I put him in a baby walker in John Lewis today and he was off! It was very amusing!

Welcome back zelda! I missed you...that's why I started a scrab game with you!

IamDaisy · 30/10/2007 21:25

It was fab derlor . I want to go back....now!

Right lovely ladies, am off to finish watching spooks and have an early night. Am feeling very wobbly and tearful this evening, so thanks all for being around to chat to.

LOL at the stuffonmysister BZ....am off to google stuffonmycat

night!

Sputnik · 30/10/2007 21:29

Wow is it baby walker time already? Time to get it down from the loft....

upsyderlor · 30/10/2007 21:31

babywalkers i LOVE them. we have a bumboo for DD and she is well cute in that, i sit her in it and then plonk her at her baby gym, she just giggles

OP posts:
dogtanian · 30/10/2007 21:33

Yep! DD didn't have one, but my parents are buying ds one for christmas. Dd was cruising at 6 months and was everywhere, hopefully a baby walker will contain the little man for a while!

Hope you are well sputnik. Is your ds still huge like mine?

dogtanian · 30/10/2007 21:35

Hey derlor!

I sold dd's bumbo, so we haven't got one. Maybe I'll get him one for christmas. Dd loved hers. She was so chunky that her lovely chubby thighs filled the whole of the leg holes! Have you seen the you tube clips of babies escaping from them...v funny!

IamDaisy · 30/10/2007 21:36

derlor, I thought the establishment frowned mightily on babywalkers?

DS loved his, although with his projectile vomming it was fetid, and a bugger to clean with all the fiddly things on the tray!

I think we'll get one for DDs Christmas pressie.

Hi holly

Sputnik · 30/10/2007 21:37

Holly he is the michelin baby (see fb pics)

milkyJammy · 30/10/2007 21:38

Have been distracted this evening by TV and doing some bits of paperwork. Bit scared to hear about babywalkers, hard to believe that proper movement might be on the horizon. Don't think we've got room for one anyway. But ought to be off to bed now. Meant to be having this interview at work tomorrow (third time lucky, the organisation failed the 1st two times and it never happened) so need to get a good night's sleep.

dogtanian · 30/10/2007 21:38

xxx daisy! Hope you are good. I bought some Happy Heinys and they arrived today. They are sooooo cute!

Good point about the vomit on babywalker! I have given up cleaning the vom off the playgym. I give it a wipe once in a while. I'll just give it a good clean before I sell it!

Sputnik · 30/10/2007 21:40

sounds like dh is rolling in, finally....

upsyderlor · 30/10/2007 21:44

i've just been catching up on facebook lovely pics everyone x

AAARRRGGHH!! Have to go, ds is screaming and dp isn't coping!

Love to all xxx

foxystein · 30/10/2007 21:44

Derlor Thanks. That really helps. I was planning on lying to the HV and telling her she rejected the formula. Would that be so very wrong?

Only for a week, in the meantime I've formulated a plan - a last ditch attempt to pork her up a bit.

After JBM's post earlier I'm wondering if they fucked up the plotting on the chart. Sorry for the bad language, my old mate Gordon R's on the telly!

Good luck tomorrow Jammy.

upsyderlor · 30/10/2007 21:51

oh what's the plan, liquidized steak pie!?!?!?!?!?!
