hello, we're over here

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
foxystein · 27/10/2007 13:56

Gordon & Tana Ramsey Bumper. Very happy they looked too.

Hi JBM, that's a good weight isn't it? I've had to go lo weighed every 2 weeks because shes crashing through the centiles.

My children are driving me mad. Done swimming, softplay, msde a treasure hunt and STILL they kick off! DD1 has a streaming cold. The DS's are just winding each other up. Time for a DVD I think!

bumperlicious · 27/10/2007 14:10

Aww lovely! They sound nice.

JBM you are very lucky with dd sleeping so long. Not sure about her weight. You might find she wakes up in a few weeks for an extra feed, most of the older ones are!

Foxy, is your LO going down? Is she ok?

foxystein · 27/10/2007 14:31

She's not losing weight Bumper, but she's dropping down the centiles. I know we shouldn't put much emphasis on the charts, but she's nowhere near the pound a week 'they' say she should be gaining.

Part of the problem is she's very happy and contented, so while she's peaceful I will 'just get the tea done' or 'just get the kids bathed' or ... there's always something else to do. I've noticed this week she's yelling harder and louder so perhaps she's twigged she needs to be heard. It certainly works! She's not falling asleep on the breast now which is good, plus I'm expressing in the morning and giving that to her at tea time as well as boob, so hopefully we'll get a good result at Tuesdays weigh-in.

How's your lo Bumper?

annobal · 27/10/2007 15:27

I like the Ramsey's - Tana's book has some great recipes.

Have a great holiday MHC. I'd love to go to Disneyland but somehow don't think I could talk DH into it and don't really fancy doing it by myself .

We had a semi-result last night. DS3 went down at 8 and slept through to 7

Then had a huge feed and a huge vom

He's been sleeping most of the day so not sure if he's on a growth spurt or has a tummy bug.

at that article. Channel 4 should be prosecuted. They put on car crash tv and could do major damage by it.

annobal · 27/10/2007 20:00

That's dire! Wonder if I can talk DH into watching The Break Up. Somehow I doubt it...

Still no more vomiting so hopefully it was a 24-hour bug and has now passed...

foxystein · 27/10/2007 20:02

I have been sucked into Australian Princess .

Arse! Have dropped chocolate sauce on lo's clean pjs.

foxystein · 27/10/2007 20:03

How many times did he vom?

annobal · 27/10/2007 20:11

After each feed today - about 5 or 6 times.

LOL re Australian Princess. I am folding clothes from the laundromat - I'm getting used to this sending clothes out and not sure I want the washing machine fixed now (she does them so well they don't need ironing)

milkyJammy · 27/10/2007 20:15

We have a load of recorded stuff to watch

milkyJammy · 27/10/2007 20:16

Hope your LO is OK Annobal with no more vomiting

foxystein · 27/10/2007 20:17

poor mite. hope he's over it now.

I have a new Lakeland catalogue to amuse me.

milkyJammy · 27/10/2007 20:19

I got the new Lakeland yesterday too Foxy, haven't had a proper look yet

foxystein · 27/10/2007 20:22

Hi Jammy! How has your day been?

milkyJammy · 27/10/2007 20:27

OK. Had some problems with LO not wanting to nap, but being massively tired - lead to a fair amount of tears, but otherwise OK. She made up for the tizzy by being a real cutie lying on her mat playing with her octopus

foxystein · 27/10/2007 20:36

Yours or hers Jammy?

milkyJammy · 27/10/2007 20:43

Her tizzy. She was being really grizzly, and showing all the signs of being tired, so we put her down for a nap, and she went into a right little paddy.
