I think all that talk of superheroes made us all a bit feisty

Ria I know what you mean. Even selling some of DS's old clothes that I never liked that much made me feel a bit grrrr and .

God I hope my sis doesn't want me to lend her stuff if she gets PG...I have attachment issues with it!

LittleMissNorty · 12/10/2007 11:49

Aw Ria.....they will kick in soon....honest...mine took about a fortnight....don't disappear on us....

Ugh TA - I hate slugs...you reminded me I was filling my basket so to speak on-line yesterday...bugger it...have probably lost my delivery slot now!

know what it feels like MJ...lack of energy....my DH doesn't suffer from it

IamDaisy · 12/10/2007 12:04

Ria, it was about three weeks before I started feeling better. My big bit of advice would be to knock the booze on the head though. I definately notice a big difference if I'm not drinking...even a glass or two has an effect. I've noticed this a lot more with sertraline rather than prozac.

jamantha are the micro diddys as absorbant as the terry ones?
Yes apparently they are bigger (well not bigger but yes you are right the terry ones shrink in the wash and these don't)

milkyJammy · 12/10/2007 12:17

Not sure on that one, Fury. Noy noticed a big difference, but maybe not quite? Haven't thought about it much though tbh.

HellHathNoFury · 12/10/2007 12:21

dammit Jamantha, you don't have all day to think about nappy absorbancy?! pppffhfhhhhh

Well ok if there is not a big difference that's good!

milkyJammy · 12/10/2007 12:23

Ooops

HellHathNoFury · 12/10/2007 12:25

or perhaps I have an unhealthy obsession!
I know what my DH would say!

HellHathNoFury · 12/10/2007 12:27

I'm off to lunch. It's fish day in the canteen, sometimes they have tiger prawns. back later chaps!

Elsbells · 12/10/2007 13:11

Hiya Ria
Hope you are not feeling to down. I was on some AD's a few yrs ago and they do take a while to kick in. I do hope you start to feel better soon.

I had a meltdown this morning with DH. Long story but I just suddenly felt like everything was just too much and he wasn't doing much to help.

Hope it really is just the hormones trying to settle themselves.

udderleyfoxy · 12/10/2007 13:22

Blimey, its going tits up all round!

Elsbells · 12/10/2007 13:24

Right I better actually so some housework and sneak in a nap.
Spk to you girls later.

HellHathNoFury · 12/10/2007 14:16

hey Elsbells

Sorry to hear about meltdown. Having a helpful DH does make all the difference.
Hopefully if it is hormones, they will soon pass (I must admit I get the most horrific PMT, stay well away, I never used to before I was PG), or maybe DH will up his game!

udderleyfoxy · 12/10/2007 14:27

Bollocks. LO really needs to go to bed, but I have school pick-up in 45mins.

Thing is she is great at going to bed. Put her down in her bed, she goes to sleep. Like all the others, if I don't put her in her bed she'll stay awake, being quite lovely, but she NEEDS to go to bed to grow and all the rest of it. And I want to put her down but will have to get her up in 30 mins so there's no point as it will do more harm than good (she'll be grumpy as hell).

And there's no point putting her in her buggy ready to go because she won't go to sleep until we get moving.

What do I do?

udderleyfoxy · 12/10/2007 14:30

She went into the routine perfectly when we started it on Wednesday evening, right through until yesterday afternoon when I took the others to tennis after school. Then she fell asleep at 5 and because she has a cold slept until 9. Went back at 11 until 9 this morning.

Today she's had about 30 minutes. She'd go down now if I could put her down. And she looks tired. Babies should not look tired.

udderleyfoxy · 12/10/2007 15:00

Sob!

Oh bugger it, I'm off to eat cake then if there's no one to talk to.

IamDaisy · 12/10/2007 15:03

probably too late foxy, but i would've put her in the buggy ready to go, then left early and gone for a bit of a walk.

speaking of which, time for me to go too, but DSs class is always out late on a Friday. They have PE, and bless them they don't get ready quickly enough!

udderleyfoxy · 12/10/2007 15:09

upsyderlor · 12/10/2007 15:29

HellHathNoFury · 12/10/2007 15:40

ARGH
I don't want a camera
I don't want a walkman
I just want a goddamn PHONE that WORKS and isn't a pile of CHEAP PLASTICY SHIT

milkyJammy · 12/10/2007 15:42

easy, fury

HellHathNoFury · 12/10/2007 15:47

I don't want a sat-nav PDA with the mind-reader add-on

It doesn't have to be a CCTV unit in its spare time, or a lion tamer. Just a phone.

I got one for my birthday but it feels as big and sturdy as a credit card and I break things. A lot.

HellHathNoFury · 12/10/2007 15:48

If I were rich...
LG have just released the PRADA phone. It looks quite sexy. It does do other stuff, but amazingly, its primary function is in fact a phone.
