I think all that talk of superheroes made us all a bit feisty

LMN, i sympathise with the screaming DH situation, Mr Derlor nearly shattered our living room windows with all his girlie screaming as the goals went rolling in!

milkyJammy · 13/10/2007 20:24

Love the new pics Fury, your little man looks like a star!

Christmas holiday sounds good Daisy. We're having it quietly at home just the 3 of us though.

After such a good start to the day it went downhill, with me & DH getting on each others nerves and bickering all day Have made up now, but not good start to a week's holiday together.

Hey derlor, we haven't "spoken" in a while, hope you're ok! Bloody love you as well!

dogtanian · 13/10/2007 20:25

I bloody love everyone today! I'm in a good mood. No particular reason, just fed up of being grumpy!

upsyderlor · 13/10/2007 20:27

milkyJammy · 13/10/2007 20:30

Ouch! Just rubbed my eye and found I have chilli on my fingers. better make sure I clean it off properly before I do DD's next nappy change!

dogtanian · 13/10/2007 20:32

I have my car and it's lovely. It is stuck on my parents' driveway until I can tax it. I just want to have a little go in it! I need to name it...any ideas? I was thinking maybe Ruby as she is red!

upsyderlor · 13/10/2007 20:35

TA, just looked at your FB photos - he is absoloutely gorgeous, can't believe the difference between photo no.1 and no.22!!!!!

HellHathNoFury · 13/10/2007 20:36

what's its numberplate?

HellHathNoFury · 13/10/2007 20:37

Gee thanks Derlor

He has grown hey? But then I reckon they all have.

Will anyone stone me if I admit to a spot of apple puree and baby rice?

Pay, you'd have to find me first.

upsyderlor · 13/10/2007 20:42

dogtanian · 13/10/2007 20:43

Dp hates the number plate coz the numbers add up to 13! He is a twat!

fairyfay · 13/10/2007 20:44

HellHathNoFury - I admit to pureed apple, banana and baby porridge. He seems to love it and has, finally, started sleeping through on the occasional night

IamDaisy · 13/10/2007 20:44

babyboo had mashed potato tonight

she stuck her fingers in my tea and her hand was in her gob before I could put my fork down. she looked pleasantly surprised so we tried her with a wee bit more and she was chewing it quite happily! I put some on my finger and she was lunging to get it.

dogtanian · 13/10/2007 20:44

I haven't started weaning yet, although he had a suck of my satsuma last night and loved it! I am wondering though if weaning might help the terrible reflux. I weaned dd at this age, but she was showing all the "signs" of being ready, whereas ds is not, so am gonna wait for a good few more weeks.

udderleyfoxy · 13/10/2007 20:45

Congrats Holly! Any chance you can tax it online?

Andiem - PMSL at you 'pushy SW London mums' comment - it is oh so true!

Daisy - we have just had another pj party - see what you've started? I think you've had a hand in something of a tradition starting here.

We had a lovely walk in the park, boys on their scooters, and now they are all tucked up in their beds.

So the day has ended far better than it started.

Because first thing this morning I found DS2 had some rather unwelcomed visitors in his hair Ewwwwww! My schedule of 4 children does not allow time for 2 hours of hair conditioning/combing.

And DD2 is in bed asleep, more or less on schedule. She doesn't look tired anymore, and I think its doing her good.

But I miss her . Evenings are meant to be her time with me.

upsyderlor · 13/10/2007 20:45

13 is not ALL bad 2 of my 3 babies born on the 13th, in fact DS was born on Friday 13th and he is just lovely x
can't think of any witty names for your car i'm afraid.

dogtanian · 13/10/2007 20:48

Awww foxy IKWYM, I would miss ds if he was in bed now. It gives us a chance to play and bond without dd sticking her beak in!

I can't tax it online coz the logbook isn't in my name yet and the tax disc would go to the previous owner's address. I am v excited, it is my first car, can't wait to get driving and finally have some freedom!

HellHathNoFury · 13/10/2007 20:48

aahh that's good I thought I was the only naughty person.

It all started last week when we let him taste some watermelon and then bottles just didn't cut it for him so much after that. He still has his full bottle quota but he has a few mouthfuls of puree too which he seems to like.

Also I just got sick to bloody death (excuse the pun) of all the reflux/vomit. Couldn't take it any more. It was getting worse and worse and he was getting through 4 clothes changes a day and HV was starting to make failure to thrive noises as he was vomming so much he wasn't gaining weight (well, he was but only about 3oz per week vs the 1lb a week he was before the vom issues). Since giving him a few mouthfuls of puree this week the vom situation has improved considerably.
