kittywitch · 18/10/2007 11:06

Well there's no chance of 'false alarms' for me if you get my drift?

bethoo · 18/10/2007 11:40

kitty - am i missing something here??!!

talking about lack of sleep - Hayden will just not sleep all the way through now, he is currenlty waking evrey two hours and the only way to get him to sleep is by letting him latch on and then he falls asleep and as i try to remove my nipple from his mouth he puts on automatic suction so he is welded to me all night and i cannot fidget!

my cycle is all overthe place, my first cycle was 28 days and the second was 40 days so i have no idea when i am ovulating! if i am ovulating on a 28 day cycle then watch this space!

kittywitch · 18/10/2007 12:33

Bethoo, you want another?
No, you're not missing anything, just no saucy action happening here in sunny Brighton

intheshitegarden · 18/10/2007 12:36

testing...

Piffle · 18/10/2007 12:41

testing?
pregnancy testing?
LOL

intheshitegarden · 18/10/2007 12:45

aye,hello tis me,diva.

have skimmed a couple of messages..i see Elsie isnt the only one waking at stupid o'clock due to colds/teething.

false alarms?!i came on on day 26 this month, rather than day 22-24 as i have been(this is my 6th af since having Elsie!)and i was panicing like mad, even though i am 'sorted'.i have an appointment to see the consultant about getting permanently sorted next week.

anyway, hope all are ok.@ foxy getting a bit.i'm not allowed till my wedding night(dont ask me why,i think dp knows i'm not a virgin).

hello bethoo, nice to see you back

better go,Elsie is having a hissy fit and waving her arms around,i think she wants some attention

bethoo · 18/10/2007 13:00

hello Diva! hope you are well. take it the wedding is very soon?

Kitty - yes i would like another as do nto want an only child but dp does not want any more if you can call him my dp these days! my mid wife told me when i just had Hayden that if i wanted another then just go for it. but since having Hayden i have been out with my mates and generally having a good time that i do not want to try for one just yet. beter tell dp to startwearing something! i mean the guy wants no more kids yet does not think to put anything on and i have already told him that i am back to normal now!

kittywitch · 18/10/2007 13:07

bethoo, I'm v. impressed that you're going out. Mind you I used to go out many. many moons ago. I even went out once or twice a week with three dc's, it was no.4 that finished me off

Diva, I'll have to keep calling you that I'm afraid. Does it spoil your cover (secret agent emoticon)?
Also, I can barely operate anything on FB, can't find any convos etc, can just about write on a wall and throw sheep at people so v. sorry about not joining in (very thick emoticon)

Piffle, you got that kb dvd yet?

bethoo · 18/10/2007 13:28

Kitty - i feel as though i do not go out enough! it is dps way of controlling me as he dictates pretty much if i can go out as he takes care of little man then usually i have a curfew so cant hit the clubs and i have to give at least two weeks notice otherwise he pulls the famous ''i've made plans'' when he so obviously has not as he never does anything!

Rosyspookily · 18/10/2007 13:28

Intheshitegardenwhere's the party?

Piffle · 18/10/2007 14:39

not yet kitty has been sent though, might take a while...

I'd love more kids but not allowed, plus my back and stuff
Dp said "fgs Jane we nearly lost you twice getting Finn here" (ectopic and appendix) forget it ...

men sheesh although my back would probably collapse so maybe he has a point...

scarybee · 18/10/2007 14:42

I do not like these stupid underlining advert thingies

Nice name intheshitegarden

The work thing is fine - it's the commute that's stressful. Twice on the way home (in three days!) there's been delays on the tube and I've been really anxious about getting to the nursery on time. Last night I made it with 3 minutes to spare

I think I'm going to have to look into this flexible working lark and see if I work through my lunchbreak if I can leave by 4.30. I can't cope with the stress

Elliot has sleeping sickness - he slept for 2.5 hours this morning. And has now gone back to bed again. I think he's coming down with something (again). He has not lost his appetite though so he's clearly not desperately ill

I'm quite tempted to go and nap with him. In fact I think I will

See you all later

ps bethoo - I am very impressed with you going to the gym!

Piffle · 18/10/2007 14:43

bethoo dp sounds like a twonk in the nicest possible way
How come you changed your status on Facebook then

foxensteinscreature · 18/10/2007 18:28

Bethoo - Monti is doing the same during the night as well. He is tunring into a real little tinker

Diva - LOL at the name. I love that programme

Scarey - I would highly recommend flexible working. It just gets you away from that whole 9-5 treadmill feeling and can save you some money on childcare sometimes too. I think by law you have to have 30 minutes break every 8 hours (very generous LOL) but they might let you informally work the lunch and knock off early

Kitty - I am getting excited about travelling south next week. Would you like us all to come to yours or go to a venue somewhere? Any ideas?

Still have pmt and now my tum sticks out - I'd forgotten how dreadful it is to be a woman - my pmt lasts a whole week too [grumpy whinger emoticon]

Mossy · 18/10/2007 18:30

Shitegarden, just wanted to say, this evening I am going to be busy with Bertie who is still not feeling too well, so not sure if I'll be able to get the chance to come on your virtual hen do. He has taken to waking up through the evening at the moment.

Will try my best but can't make any promises. However, I am going to your rl wedding (just looking up the trains today... have to leave here at about half seven in the morning, public transport is so crappy!!) so hopefully you will forgive me!!!!!

kittywitch · 18/10/2007 18:33

Foxy, I'm cruising the threads looking for a ruck PMT PMT PMT .
yeah mine last a week, I've got achey back and tum and feel bloated.
Come to me, it will be much easier. There's not much to do as it gets cooler. Will everyone be bringing all their dc's?

muppetrickortreat · 18/10/2007 18:59

DEAR GOD.... i stop posting for a few days and DAMN NEAR MISS DIVA'S HEN NIGHT

Where is it??? Where is it???

I've organised drinks, food, games, entertainment....

Where is she?????

All this talk of more babies

If i were to have a fourth I would need to be held together with sellotape.

Bethoo... you could be pg as we speak!!!!

Foxy have you actually had an af yet? I reckon I'm feeding similarly to you through the night... so may get af soon... but nothing yet... keep feeling pmt ish...

muppetrickortreat · 18/10/2007 19:01

Diva has to wear this

intheshitegarden · 18/10/2007 20:57

is anybody coming???

eidsvold · 19/10/2007 06:53

I guess I will be sleeping when you guys are partying - shall think of you lot out on the razz!

have uploaded some pics of the dds - one of the most recent of dd3. She is still quite ditty - not even 7 kgs yet!! I have been trying to make her some in between nappies - the ones I made are still too big and the few fitteds I bought are getting a bit too snug!

Rosyspookily · 19/10/2007 07:02

aww, lovely Eidsvold. They are gorgeous.

bethoo · 19/10/2007 09:58

Piffle - it is better than complicated! i guess i just do not know what i want anymore! i am so used to being on my own these days that i rarely have time to go to his house! i feel single these days! i know i am naughty, thank god dp is not online!

Muppet - aaahhhh, watch this space. i did say to dp last night that he should start wearing protection since he does not want any more kids and i want to wait awhile too. i do not think i could cope being abandoned again during my pregnancy with no support! but i do want another before i am 35.

Piffle · 19/10/2007 10:54

Diva so sorry to have missed it
Ds1 came home yesterday and felt sick - sent him to bed with a bowl and a kiss
dd and Finn off to bed fab at 7pm, have quiet house to myself, think cannot be arsed cooking order takeaway to be deliver when dp is due home at 8pm
So dp is late, then just as delivery man knocks on door I hear ds1 bellowing, throw chq at driver, shut door in his face, dump curry
Run bellowing back if you puke in that bed I'll kill you, get the bowl you sod
So he promptly turns around... oh yes exorcist style and vomits around the whole room, himself and the bed
I scream and run away
Dp gets home to utter bedlam
The noise has woken Finn who is demanding a feed (unscheduled), ds1 is just ugh horrible

dd remains asleep...

It took me hours to clean everything up and by then, I had to eat reheated takeaway food (tempting vomit myself indeed) and then collapsed knackered at 10.30pm...

Anyway enough of me...

Diva hope you had a lovely night am off to explore the group now belatedly...
Mossy hope Bertie had an ok night and is feeling better.

Bethoo sorry things are complicated...

Well that's me in a nutshell
so today I will mostly be doing
washing and more washing oh and yep a bit more...
I'm livid with ds1 - how come a 4 yr girl with poor eyesight and mobility issues, can get herself out of bed in the dark at 3am and get her mum and dad up and tell them she needs to by be sick and get to the toilet in time all herself - yet a 13 yr old GIFTED and TALENTED (my arse) strapping lad who has known for 5 HOURS tjat he will be sick, is all prepared...
cannot manage it
ARRGHHHHH

Rosyspookily · 19/10/2007 12:04

Gifted and talented at making a mess You poor things Piffle, what a horrible evening you had. I hope everyone is better soon.

Bethoo, I know all about complicated! As long as you are happy?

bethoo · 19/10/2007 12:45

Rosy - that is the thing. my whole life my happines depended on being with a man and since Hayden (baby) has come along i am not so dependant on men if you know what i mean? anyway i am on my own mostly during the week and i am fine with it, i can pretty much get on with cleaning and spending time with Hayden. occasionally i get lonely and bored and would like company but not necessary my dp, not for sex that is, just having friends round for general girly chat or cosy night in watching a DVD. boy i lead a simple life! i am probably the happiest i have ever been in my life! started a great new job and it is all within walking distance of home so no more bus journeys! i still have my boys (dogs) and i can get to the gym. i sound dull don't i???
