I have to walk as I can't carry two car seats/children. So if we go to a toddlers/drs/clinic I can't leave one in the car while I take one in then can't leave one in place while go out to get other one. So we walk hail, rain or shine. I used to use the car all the time

That's kind (whispers) Bugaboo - runs away and hides - Thing is - not sure about which colour to go for either. Blue base and fleece at the moment - which I love - sorry!

Idreamofchocolate · 27/09/2007 13:55

Oooggs, you've cracked it

Idreamofchocolate · 27/09/2007 13:56

Meant to say earlier CD - that you're having problems.

I see that Billy Piper thing is based on Belle De Jour (am reading her book "Intimate Revelations of a London Call Girl" for my book club).

Idreamofchocolate · 27/09/2007 14:01

Nutty, now why aren't I surprised you're reading a book about sex?

nappynuttynormabutty · 27/09/2007 14:03

Tho I have to say it wasn't me that chose it...perhaps I've joined a naughty book club

£65 buy it now, you might get one a bit cheaper in an auction, this one is new.. ou could also try posting on the wanted boards on here, there sre quite a few people with bugaboo's?

Alternatively websites like bump to 3 do lovely snuggles for half the price.

oooggs · 27/09/2007 14:04

they are up after 1 hr 10 mins - not bad and seem to be in good moods

NorthernLurker · 27/09/2007 14:05

Thanks very much.

StealthPolarBear · 27/09/2007 14:15

T is asleep with eyes half open, I know if I get up he'll notice and wake up so have no option other than to stay on MN
It's really really windy here!

Very proud mummy moment.

DS1 two hours at mums and tots. Lunch. Toddled off to nursery happy as larry.

DS2 after two days of "controlled crying" (yes it killed me but the worst is now over with) is now fast asleep having his second "gina" sleep of the day. Have got this down to a t, put in cot, medium swaddle, radio own, walk out, 2 mins crying max, FAST ASLEEP!!!!

I am so proud I could burst, because I never got that far with ds1, too much of a wuss. Very highly recommended.

Northern Lurker, come on we know you live in Leeds.

CaptainDippy · 27/09/2007 14:29

Just popping in quickly as I am doing the housework while friend's BIL is downstairs colouring and P is sleeping - Just wanted to say thank you NorthernLurker - glad you have ousted yourself from your murky slimey pit () to join us - The verse was great (have you been lurking on my "other" thread by any chance!!? )

Right, best finished Dysoning so we can go out!

oooggs · 27/09/2007 14:32

hey pinions - great isn't it - never thought it would work - but I am with you on daytime sleep in cot at last

CaptainDippy · 27/09/2007 14:32

Nice one Pinions - enjoy the peace!!

mammyjo · 27/09/2007 14:43

Welcome NL, now you are here there is no escape!!

Cd, enjoy your afternoon out.

Oooggs, over an hour sleeping is fantastic. F has drifted off now, but am sure it wont be for long, never is in the day

Oh yes, she is stirring now

StealthPolarBear · 27/09/2007 14:44

Well done Pinions!
T is also asleep, feel a bit bad now as I was wingeing that he NEVER sleeps on another thread.
You know when they sleep really lightly and you're sure they're going to wake any minute?
