ABP "actual bodily pecking!"

daisyandbabybootoo · 21/09/2007 21:53

Ria, I hope you get things back on an even keel with DS1.

LOL Faylisa....I think every MNer secretly longs to make the talk round-up. I think foxy did once as well, me it'll never happen, I'm obviously just not that witty

Our garage is leaking worse then ever now. I went to put my old buggy in there earlier today and it was raining in the middle of the room . The builder is ignoring our calls and we have had to contact trading standards. There is about £3500 of damage to things in there as well which we will need to claim against him. That will probably mean pursuing him through the small claims court. ARSE ARSE ARSE

daisyandbabybootoo · 21/09/2007 21:59

What's keeping me going? .....taking it one day at a time really, and knowing that when it is going well it is great, and the fact that the ensuing engorgement will be much much worse than any of the problems I've had so far (so mixed feeding as a stopgap between excl BF to excl FF not a bad idea).

But on the other hand I would love my DS to be able to jump all over me in the morning like he used to without me flinching every time he comes near me

Thanks BZ

DH keeps talking at me, and I am so not in the mood. He's off sulking in the garden with his cigar.

riabutterflew · 21/09/2007 22:08

i wish my dh would piss off into garden for a cigar. he keeps making "suggestions for alternative entertainment". Feck off, QIs on!h

when i stopped bfing ds1 i spent a few days with a bedsheet tightly wrapped round my norks. it chuffing hurst stopping like that. I believe when my DM had us they used to bandage them in hospital (FF was norm then).

Faylisa, i'm sorrym i can't remember your post on that thread, there are so many and it has taken me 3 night to read it. which was it?

ria - I forgot to take my contact lens solution when staying the night at a friend's house, so I put my contacts in a glass of water. I then woke up in the night, thirsty, and drank them!

riabutterflew · 21/09/2007 22:26

not really sure tbh. Ian Beale was in some sort of over-dramatised-to-the-point-of-silliness situation with a derelict council flat block, a torch, some cream crackers and a dark flat. It seems Steven (Cindy Beale's son with wicksy - that is my info from Mnet anyway) has come back to torment him, or something. There were lots of good scene cuts though (according to DH who was obsesssed with media stuff at college). The man from quadrophenia get fed chilli tht his son had swept off the floor by the woman he seems to have pissedoff. Jane seems to have got glamorous and was looking t photos on the laptop and found an email confirming a hotel booking for 1 person in cape town, then she cried. when did ian beale have so many children? There was al;so a man who has just got out of prison with a little shit of a son who got a police caution and sent his dad a text saying "lir". the dad then kicked the mirror in a rage.

hope that helps. I have NO IDEA what was actually happening. do you watch emmerdale?

tbhat was supposed to say "liar"

i have a nice bil too. i think he is a closet gay because he cannot commit to a woman, he thinks he is a playboy-type. i have a bil with stinky feet too. and i have a truly awful bil who hates us as much as we don't like him, who i metioned on that other thread!

bugger, have missed the whole of QI cos i have been playing on here.

daisyandbabybootoo · 21/09/2007 22:33

I'm not in bed yet....DH brought me more wine

Hi Derlor .....I also have a very attractive BIL

LOL at the synopsis of Eastenders Ria.....I'm thinking quadrophenia????.....but it's Phil Daniels isn't it? Did the voice over on Parklife?

faylisa · 21/09/2007 22:34

Ria - me too - how did it suddenly become newsnight???

derlor · 21/09/2007 22:34

thatks for the link FL, and thanks for the info on EE Ria, i KNEW it was his son Steven that was behind all the stuff recently (smug emoticon) and no, i don't watch emerdale, sorry

derlor · 21/09/2007 22:38

hi Daisy you feeling better?

riabutterflew · 21/09/2007 22:39

thank god for that derlor, neither do i (much to the disgust of PIL - will explain one day)

that's the bloke daisy, couldn't remember his name. Quadrophenia is an excellent film, if a bit dated-teen-angst. glad you have wine. it helps

QI on bbc4 now...

More on BF....the first few weeks I was told it'll get easier at three weeks.....when it was hard going then, I was told, you'll turn a corner at six weeks...then it was ooo your supply starts to regulate better and you won't get engorgement after 12 weeks, now I'm reading on Bumpers thread that the top of the mountain os 16 weeks and it's downhill from there...

....WILL SOMEONE TELL ALL THIS TO MY FARKING NORKS....
