Faylisa it's the NEXT mid season sale tomorrow - could you maybe nip in and get a wee bargin??

faylisa · 28/09/2007 21:04

Maybe I could...... Even better if I can persuade DH to have DCs and go on my own - he is out tonight watching the rugby so seems only fair

faylisa · 28/09/2007 21:05

Will have to make myself go to ladies section though and not get distracted by all the 'bargains' for DCs and spend far too much money on things they don't really need, because they were 1/2 price

riabutterflew · 28/09/2007 21:08

poor you and mr derlor. hope you are both ok.

i got over 8000 anagrams, mostly involving flab, bra wife etc. will stay as i am thanks. like yours though ta.

shiny sinks and men don't mix - dh and the teapot = nasty stained sink (we have a horrible beige thing that can't be shined, it has to be bleached.)

had a lovely day in whitby, despite the uncontrollables. tired now though.

riabutterflew · 28/09/2007 21:13

i always buy stuff for the kids or dh cos at least stuff fits them.

we saw a steam train on the "heartbeat" railway while we had our picnic.

big sigh of relief for you mhc. bugger about your car though.

do you think i might have left it too late to embroider a sampler as a gift for a wedding on sunday (dh is going on his ownn as it's a no kids do. at least i don't have to worry about clothes)

loonylovegood · 28/09/2007 21:14

Awww, poor mr derlor!! Hope he's ok and doesn't need too much sympathy! Bet he's gutted, but at least he got to see sunny southampton!

Go here for the sale preview! Not much in it though. There's a few toddler girls' bits and some bedding, but that's about it really.

Anyone who likes the cinema join this. You get to see films for free! I haven't used it yet, but I get loads of invitations.

Evening all

Bulimic poseur here I got 16 thousand!

Derlor, glad you are feeling better. Trust DH to trump you on the feeling crap stakes!

Daisy glad things are a bit better for you too.

TA did I see some surrepticious '' around the D of DH?

I have a rare few minutes of blissful silence as DH has taken DD to tescos! I'm reading that book "what mothers do..." and nearly crying at every chapter no one understands what it is like being at home all day, no one understands what it is like to feel so bound to a child! I will pass it around when I am done.

Going to an NCT sale tomorrow, sadly quite excited!

bumperlicious · 28/09/2007 21:23

Gorge pics btw DKMA!

DaisyABandyBoobToo · 28/09/2007 21:24

LOL at your comment re DH trumping me Bumper - too true
have a good evening chicks x

foxybrown · 28/09/2007 22:07

looking forward to your new home Bumper?

JBM - how are you doing? Given our lo's are only days apart I was wondering how you were doing emotionally as I am feeling very sensitive. which in turn causes me to over-react. then i get worked up and stressed out. is it normal at 10/11 weeks?

DaisyABandyBoobToo · 28/09/2007 22:09

foxy....you need to ask?!!!

you are our resident fountain of all knowledge you know

bumperlicious · 28/09/2007 22:09

Kind of foxy. Not looking forward to weeks of living in a hovel though, and unpacking!

Don't think the sensitive thing is just you. I seem to have totally lost my sense of humour, and DH says I am being very sensitive and defensive.

DaisyABandyBoobToo · 28/09/2007 22:11

C'mon over HERE

riabutterflew · 28/09/2007 22:13

i am very over-reactive and short-fused. and super-anxious (I HATE HATE HATE travelling in the car when there are other cars on the road).

so, what's new!
